911 Truther invades post-Superbowl press conference

Malcolm Smith's postgame Super Bowl conference was briefly interrupted by a random 9/11 truther, who grabbed the microphone and told everyone to investigate the attacks on September 11th, saying they were "perpetrated by people within our own government."

Karzai suspects U.S. is behind Taliban attacks, Afghan officials say

An Afghan driver looks out from a broken windshield after a recent suicide bombing outside a Lebanese restaurant in Kabul that left 21 dead.
Kabul - President Hamid Karzai has frequently accused the U.S. military of causing civilian casualties in its raids. But behind the scenes, he has been building a far broader case against the Americans, suggesting that they may have aided or conducted shadowy insurgent-style attacks to undermine his government, according to senior Afghan officials.

Karzai has formalized his suspicions with a list of dozens of attacks that he believes the U.S. government may have been involved in, according to one palace official. The list even includes the recent bomb and gun assault on a Lebanese restaurant in Kabul, one of the bloodiest acts targeting the international community in Afghanistan, the official said. The attack, which left 21 people dead, including three Americans, was almost universally attributed to the Taliban.

Comment: "almost universally" meaning the Western mainstream media.

But Karzai believes it was one of many incidents that may have been planned by Americans to weaken him and foment instability in Afghanistan, according to the senior palace official, who is sympathetic to the president's view and spoke on the condition of anonymity. He acknowledged that his government had no concrete evidence of U.S. involvement and that the American role had not been formally confirmed.

Mandatory $24 admission fee set for 9/11 museum due to lack of government funds

Relatives of 9/11 victims criticized the $24 fee.

A visit to the new National Sept. 11 Memorial Museum in New York City will be one of the costliest museum tickets in town.

Lacking government funding for its operations, the memorial's board of trustees voted Thursday to set a $24 admission price when the museum opens in May.

Families of 9/11 victims will not be charged, and there will be discounts for children, senior citizens and students. In addition, admission will be free to everyone for three hours every Tuesday evening.

The memorial's president, Joe Daniels, said the board had no choice but to charge a steep fee.

"The 9/11 Memorial does not yet receive government support for ongoing operations as many other important museums of our national history do," he said.

Comment: So now the U.S. governmental agencies charge $24 entrance fee to visit a museum that commemorates the murders of citizens that the U.S. government itself orchestrated?!

Media ignores calm amid chaos: The story you were never told on 9/11

Uhm, remind us again, what do we need leaders for?...
Original video produced by BrasscheckTV.com

Narrated by Goodman Green

On Sept. 11 last year, up to 1 million people were evacuated from Lower Manhattan by water "in an emergent network of private and publicly owned watercraft--a previously unplanned activity." It was an American Dunkirk, like the epic rescue of the British army at Dunkirk in 1940 by an armada of similar craft.

Comment: The above appears to have been written in the run-up to the first anniversary of 9/11.

This is very interesting research because it reveals the contrast between how the psychopathic mind sees the world (and wishfully believes that normal people see it too by casting their hysterical, paranoid net far and wide through the media) with how the inherently social human perceives and responds to its environment. We note with sadness, however, that humanity's propensity to "seek information from one another and make inquiries" didn't extend far enough to question what really happened on 9/11.

Perhaps another way of looking at it is that yes, people do ask questions, but they have long since been dumbed down through atrocious diets and overwhelmed by a daily dose of lies, which have combined to subvert these natural pro-social traits towards support of unnatural warfare and torture of fellow humans.

Canadians wary of 9/11 explanations - and of US officials

Rubble of 9/11 WTC7
7 World Trade Center has drawn the focus of the 'truthers' who watch video of its collapse and conclude it must have been felled by explosives
An advertising campaign in Canada raises questions about the US government's official account of the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001. Are Canadians more sympathetic to anti-American conspiracy theories than Americans themselves?

The posters, displayed on buses in Ottawa, show an image of a World Trade Center building collapsing in the inferno of the terrorist attack that morning.

The advertising campaign is supported by a Lafayette, California-based organisation called Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth.

The office tower, 7 World Trade Center, may have been destroyed in a controlled demolition, members of the organisation purport, rather than in a fire.

Frank Greening, a nuclear scientist who lives in Hamilton, Ontario, knows the people behind the organisation - truthers, as they are known - well. He first met them years ago.

Saudi Arabia losing status: US court revives 9/11 case against Saudi Arabia

A federal appeals court in New York City has revived litigation against Saudi Arabia on behalf of families of victims of the September 11, 2001, attacks.

More than twelve years after the 9/11 attacks and eight years after a lower federal court ruled Saudi Arabia had immunity from prosecution, a three-judge panel of the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan ruled on Thursday that families of 9/11 victims can get their day in court against Saudi Arabia.

According to the families of 9/11 victims, the kingdom provided support to al-Qaeda prior to the attacks which killed nearly 3,000 people.

"This opinion is eminently correct and will give 9/11 victims their day in court," said Stephen Cozen, a partner at the Pennsylvania-based law firm Cozen O'Connor representing the plaintiffs.

"The parties will start over, and we are very, very satisfied that we will meet any defenses, both legal and factual, that are raised," Cozen added.

Comment: It is a sign that Saudi Arabia is falling out of favor with the US. When will the lights shine on the role of Mossad and various alphabet-soup agencies in the 9/11 attack?

Conspiracy theorists sane and government dupes crazy, hostile according to recent studies

Is this building falling or exploding? If you say “falling” you need to take your meds
Recent studies by psychologists and social scientists in the US and UK suggest that contrary to mainstream media stereotypes, those labeled "conspiracy theorists" appear to be saner than those who accept the official versions of contested events.

The most recent study was published on July 8th by psychologists Michael J. Wood and Karen M. Douglas of the University of Kent (UK). Entitled "What about Building 7? A social psychological study of online discussion of 9/11 conspiracy theories," the study compared "conspiracist" (pro-conspiracy theory) and "conventionalist" (anti-conspiracy) comments at news websites.

The authors were surprised to discover that it is now more conventional to leave so-called conspiracist comments than conventionalist ones: "Of the 2174 comments collected, 1459 were coded as conspiracist and 715 as conventionalist." In other words, among people who comment on news articles, those who disbelieve government accounts of such events as 9/11 and the JFK assassination outnumber believers by more than two to one. That means it is the pro-conspiracy commenters who are expressing what is now the conventional wisdom, while the anti-conspiracy commenters are becoming a small, beleaguered minority.

Perhaps because their supposedly mainstream views no longer represent the majority, the anti-conspiracy commenters often displayed anger and hostility: "The research... showed that people who favoured the official account of 9/11 were generally more hostile when trying to persuade their rivals."

Ken O'Keefe: United States poses the biggest nuclear threat to the world

The United States poses the biggest nuclear threat to the world, former US Marine Ken O'Keefe tells Press TV in an interview.

"There is clearly no bigger threat to the safety and security of this world than the United States of America," O'Keefe said on Wednesday. He said the threat came from the US "unaccounted" nuclear weapons, adding, "The first nation that needs to disarm is the United States, but they're not going to do so willingly."

Israel benefits as world loses

Is there any point in public debate in a society where hardly anyone has been taught how to think, while millions have been taught what to think?

--Peter Hitchens

What started off as Arab Spring has turned morbidly into Arab Fall. What began as a seasonal description became directional and self-destructive. Not only have movements that looked promising failed to benefit anyone but Israel, they have drawn their sponsors exorbitantly toward bankruptcy.

The Israelis and their lobbyists in the United States laugh quietly when they hear someone complain about the $3 billion in annual gifts America sends to Israel. Why is that funny? Because it only represents a tiny portion of what Israel really costs America. Add the total costs of all the wars the US has fought for Israel. The Iraq war alone has cost America $815 billion and it's still not over. It has benefitted no one but Israel - not America and certainly not Iraq. The number of Iraqis slaughtered in the US war and occupation of Iraq: 1,455,590.

Comment: Very succinct description and great summary of the current state of affairs in the Middle East. The pathology of the Israeli leaders is becoming more and more obvious as the death toll rises and costs increase by hundreds of billions every year. When will this stop?

Dick Cheney altered heart defibrillator over terrorist attack fears

Former US vice president Dick Cheney has described disabling the wireless function of his heart defibrillator over fears terrorists would hack into it to cause a heart attack.

Mr Cheney, who served as vice president from 2001 to 2009, had the defibrillator fitted after suffering from long term cardiovascular disease and surviving five heart attacks.

Mr Cheney underwent a heart transplant two years ago, aged 70.

In 2007, while he was serving as vice president under George Bush, the device was disabled by his cardiologist Jonathan Reiner to prevent terrorists from giving his heart a potentially fatal shock.

Mr Cheney was working with Mr Bush on his response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks and helping to coordinate the War on Terror.

Popular Showtime series Homeland features a plot in which a soldier helps to hack a device fitted to the fictional US vice president to administer a deadly shock, a plot that Mr Cheney said he found credible.

"I was aware of the danger that existed... I found it credible. I know from the experience we had, and the necessity for adjusting my own device, that it was an accurate portrayal of what was possible,'' he explained.
