Behind the Headlines: 'Terrorist Rectal Bombs' Social and Climate Chaos: Has Our World Gone Mad?

Image
On this week's SOTT Talk Radio show we took a closer look at the latest developments in the never-ending 'war on terror' and the origins of the latest 'Islamic terror' bogeymen - ISIS. We delved (figuratively of course) into a new twist on the 'knicker bomber': the 'intrarectal terrorist bomb threat' that has appeared, on cue, for summer holiday season and is promising to make airport transitions as invasive (literally) as possible for millions of holiday-makers (the paedophilic elite can barely contain their glee!).

We also looked at the latest "global warming" data, and analysed the spectacular mental gymnastics that 'climate scientists' have been engaging in to explain the inexplicable. Speaking of the 'weather', we discussed the recent record-breaking flooding on every continent; 'haildrifts' up to 3 feet high being ploughed off streets in Tokyo, Spain, Istanbul and Mexico; and tornadoes touching down in the very unlikely locales of Norway, Sweden, Greece and Algeria.

From the stark increase in African immigrants risking horrific conditions (and their lives) on 'salvation seeking' boat rides to Italy that heralds an 'immigration crisis' for Europe, to the ongoing pedophilia in 'high places' scandal in the UK, the latest on the situation in Ukraine and the hard data linking fracking to earthquakes in the USA, we discussed all this and more on this week's Sott Talk Radio show!

Behind the Headlines: Para-military Police State: U.S. cops out of control?

Sott Talk Radio logo
From the beating of Rodney King to the murder of Kelly Thomas, police tactics in the U.S. have become so heavy-handed that people are regularly being murdered by those ostensibly sworn 'to protect and to serve' them.

The militarization of police forces - particularly since 9/11, the steady erosion of civil rights via draconian laws, and an atmosphere of hysteria generated by the 'War on Terror' have all combined to place the police 'above the law'.

But tyrannical and dictatorial repression is what 'those other countries' do, right? Why is it, then, that we constantly see headlines of people in the U.S. being beaten, tasered, and even shot to death for such minor infringements as traffic violations? Are cops 'out of control'? Are they 'just obeying orders'?

Behind the Headlines: Manufactured Terror: Busted Wide Open

Sott Talk Radio logo
This week the regular hosts were in the hot-seat as SOTT.net Editor Pierre Lescaudron interviewed Joe and Niall about their recently published book, Manufactured Terror: The Boston Marathon Bombings, Sandy Hook, Aurora Shooting and Other False Flag Terror Attacks.

Manufactured Terror is an anthology of investigative reporting on some of the most heinous crimes committed on American soil in recent years. While these events invariably go down as the work of 'lone nuts', gaping holes in the official narratives invite us to look behind the dramatic headlines and officials' psycho-babble.

Context is everything. Sometimes a lone nut is just that. But given abundant historical precedent for the involvement of state actors (note: not 'actors') in terror attacks and mass shootings, those who do most to position themselves as 'protectors of the people' appear to have most to gain from terrorizing their own population.

Behind the Headlines: Earth changes in an electric universe: Is climate change really man-made?

This week on SOTT Talk Radio we discussed the recently released book by SOTT.net editors Pierre Lescaudron and Laura
Knight-Jadczyk, Earth Changes and the Human-Cosmic Connection.

While official science portrays the crazy weather, more frequent sinkholes, increased meteor fireball activity, and intensifying earthquakes as phenomena that are unrelated, research put together by Pierre and Laura strongly suggests that all this (and more!) is intimately connected and may stem from a common cause.

In times past, people understood that the human mind and states of collective human experience influence cosmic and earthly phenomena. How might today's 'wars and rumors of wars', global 'austerity measures', and the mass protest movements breaking out everywhere play into the climate 'changing'?

Behind the Headlines: NATO, from Regional Defence Pact to Global Military: Interview with Rick Rozoff

Sott Talk Radio logo
This week on SOTT Talk Radio we spoke with Rick Rozoff, an investigative journalist who lives and works in Chicago. An active opponent of war, militarism and intervention for over 40 years, Rozoff manages the STOP NATO website and writes on the threat of international militarization, especially in the form of the globalization of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Rozoff contends that NATO is the first attempt in history to establish an aggressive global military formation. It currently includes a third of the nations of the world, either as members or partners, has members and partners on five continents, and has conducted active operations on four, with the potential to expand its reach into the remaining two where it has not yet officially intruded itself.

Behind the Headlines: Lessons from collapse of USSR for USA: Interview with Dmitry Orlov

Sott Talk Radio logo
This week on SOTT Talk Radio we spoke with Dmitry Orlov, a Russian-American engineer and a writer on the subject of societal collapse.

Born in Saint Petersburg, Orlov moved to the U.S. at the age of 12. Visiting his homeland between the late 1980s and mid-1990s, he was an eyewitness to the collapse of the U.S.S.R.

Orlov has written extensively on the stages leading up to collapse, and how different groups of people adapt to 'the new normal'. Orlov argues that the U.S. is heading the same way, and that the U.S.S.R. had it easy compared to what's in store for the Atlantic Empire.

Orlov is the author of two books Reinventing Collapse: The Soviet Example and American Prospects, and The Five Stages of Collapse: Survivors' Toolkit, and regularly publishes essays at his Club Orlov blog.

Behind the Headlines: Curing Diabetes and Other Modern Illnesses: Interview With Dr. Antti Heikkilä

Sott Talk Radio logo
Diabetes has reached epidemic proportions in our modern world. Millions of people worldwide suffer from type 2 diabetes, and up to one third of the world's population is pre-diabetic. Caused by disturbances in the metabolism of a hormone called insulin, diabetes is a serious illness affecting the whole body and leads to many complications, even premature death.

Image
Dr. Antti Heikkilä is a surgeon and orthopedic and traumatology specialist at Eira Hospital in Helsinki, Finland. He strongly criticises the current treatment for diabetes that is based on the use of large amounts of insulin, as well as a diet low in fat and high in carbohydrates. According to Dr. Heikkilä, this officially recommended treatment worsens the condition, by confusing insulin metabolism even more. Insulin is not harmless, it is a poison, and excess amounts cause much damage in the body.

Dr. Antti Heikkilä's work is based on solid clinical experience of over 43 years, as well as many reliable published studies. Dr. Heikkilä's recommendation for the treatment of diabetes is a natural and nutritional diet low in carbohydrates. Many of Dr. Heikkilä's patients have been able to come off their medication or have completely cured themselves with a low carbohydrate diet.

Dr. Heikkilä is the author of Nutrition Therapy for Diabetes as well as dozens of medical papers
