SOTT Focus: Objective:Health - The Best Reasons Not to Get a Covid Shot

O:H header
Self-described 'natural health nerd', Christian Elliot has written an excellent article that covers multiple reasons he personally will not (and by extention, the reader shouldn't) be getting the Covid shot. Titled "18 Reasons I Won't Be Getting a Covid Vaccine," the article serves as a good round up of all the reasons the many Covid shots are problematic. Many of these reasons have been covered on our show before, and the article serves both as a refresher and provides some new perspectives and new information to boot.

Join us on this episode of Objective:Health as we go through some of our favourite reasons not to get a Covid shot and offer some additional insights into why these shots are a very bad idea. Anyone who's on the fence about the vaccine will surely not want to miss this one!

SOTT Focus: MindMatters: Phillip Barlag: The Leadership Genius of Julius Caesar

barlag
Power-hungry despot. Dictator for life. Vain ladies' man. Murdered by his peers for aspiring to be king. That was Julius Caesar, at least according to his critics and modern interpreters. But countless portrayals of the most famous Roman - in histories, novels, plays and films - omit what were quite likely his greatest features: his multifaceted genius, unparalleled leadership skill, and, remarkable for the times in which he lived, his humanity. Those skills - and their relevance for leadership today - have gone mostly unnoticed.

So this week on MindMatters we discuss The Leadership Genius of Julius Caesar with author Phillip Barlag. This examination of Caesar's accomplishments not only brings a fresh perspective on who Caesar was, but also hones in on the qualities that made him an exemplary leader of ancient Rome and what lessons we can draw from the accounts of his life and character. What emerges is an alternative reading of Caesar, not as a wholly self-serving tyrant, but a politically skilled reformer, man of the people, and all around exceptional human being.

SOTT Focus: Objective:Health - Kids and Covid Shots

O:H header
If there's one thing the elites seem to love to do, it's injecting kids with questionable biological material.

Take, for instance, the following: We know children do not transmit Covid-19 virus and that the concept of asymptomatic spread has been questioned severely, particularly for children. Children, if infected, just do not spread Covid-19 to others readily, either to other children, other adults in their families or otherwise, nor to their teachers. It is well-noted that asymptomatic cases are not the drivers of the pandemic; something particularly important in relation to children as they're generally asymptomatic.

In other words there are no data whatsoever that could be used to support the need for vaccination of children in this Covid-19 pandemic. Yet there are currently a number of trials in process for a number of covid shots where the subjects of the studies ARE CHILDREN. Why are we vaccinating children against Covid-19 when we know the vast majority don't catch it or spread it? Has anyone bothered to assess whether the risk of adverse reaction to the shot is worth the (possible) minuscule benefit?

Join us on this episode of Objective:Health for a rousing discussion about the pros and cons of injecting kids with experimental genetic material.

SOTT Focus: MindMatters: Interview with Tom Costello: Yes, Virginia, There Is a Left-wing Authoritarianism!

tom costello
Today on MindMatters we interview Thomas Costello, Emory University PhD candidate and lead author of a groundbreaking new study on leftwing authoritarianism. Long thought by social psychologists to be the exclusive of social conservatives (RWA), studies of authoritarianism on the left have been few and far between. Until now. Despite the almost willful ignorance about the subject in the field, LWA really does exist, and Costello and colleagues are clarifying its structure as a valid construct. It turns out that rightwing and leftwing authoritarians have a lot in common - and some differences too.

Join us as we pick Tom's brain about the history of the study of authoritarianism, how it became associated exclusively with conservatism, and what the latest studies are revealing about authoritarians on the left: those anti-conventionalists who channel their aggression against existing hierarchies and favor top-down censorship, and who are more willing to participate in political violence than their peers.

SOTT Focus: Objective:Health - Papers Please! Vaccine Passports and the Death of Human Liberty

O:H header
The looming threat of vaccine passports have been a constant companion over the past year, sending chills down the collective spines of anyone with even the slightest value of liberty. While a large scale rollout is still on the horizon, we are starting to see these things issued in various places, and they're pretty much exactly what everyone has feared.

While New York State's voluntary app has proven to be a logistical nightmare, with its many shortcomings making it almost unusable, Israel's Green Pass has already started to create a two-tiered society, with stark contrast between the haves and the have-nots (vaxxed and unvaxxed) and Naomi Wolf is sounding dire warnings about "the end of human liberty in the West if this plan unfolds as planned."

Yet the plans of the elites are not without resistance. Gov. DeSantis of Florida has taken an executive action against vaccine passports and even the WHO has dismissed the idea as discriminatory. Meanwhile, the UK has said that the Covid passports will only be a 'short-term' measure until the covetted herd immunity has been reached (if you trust them on this, you might want do a little research into the history of 'temporary' government powers).

SOTT Focus: MindMatters: Do Not Watch, Comrade! 'The Lives of Others' Is Thought Crime

lives of others
Soon after World War II, Germany was cleaved in two by the allies who won the war. 'West Germany' came under the influence of Western Europe and the US, and East Germany under the Soviet Union. The eastern section of Germany, under the political and ideological influence of Communism, came to develop one of the most notoriously oppressive secret police organizations in modern history: the Stasi.

On this week's show, we discuss Florian Henckel Von Donnersmarck's moving and expertly directed 2006 German film 'The Lives of Others' (spoiler warning!). The movie's depiction of life under Stasi control, the power dynamics at play in the Communist nation, and the lives it destroyed, among other things, all contribute to make the 'The Lives of Others' an instructive work from which to understand the destructive power of totalitarianism on a very personal level. However, the film also offers a light of hope in the face of immense bleakness.

Join us as we discuss the film, its overall plot and themes, expert characterization, historical accuracy (or lack thereof), and why it deserves a watch - or two! Just make sure the Stasi don't find out. They don't arrest people on a whim, after all.

SOTT Focus: MindMatters: Campy Covers, Deep Psychology: Discover a Most Surprising Oasis of Virtue and Values

romance indiana jones
At this time of sweeping societal change, ideological propaganda is bombarding western culture everywhere one looks. No tradition or institution is spared, particularly when it comes to our value systems and the most basic ideas of what it means to be human: family, relationships, sex. The cult of wokeness must be adhered to, or else. Refuse to comply and you risk being labeled, demonized, cancelled. But the onslaught of pseudo-reality has one survivor, hidden in plain sight for all this time: the regency romance novel.

Rakes and hoydens, scandals and scoundrels. Sometimes virtue can be found in the most unlikely places. So this week on MindMatters, discover a genre that, to our delight and surprise, is a rich source of not only entertainment, insight and knowledge, but most importantly, also a wellspring of traditional values that has the power to counteract the mind-virus - and potentially help us to grow.

SOTT Focus: Objective:Health - Resistance Against Medical Tyranny

O:H header
In this episode of Objective:Health we highlight some of the resistance we've seen to the medical tyranny that has descended on us under the guise of a deadly pandemic. Whether in the form of lawsuits, class action suits, standing up to employers mandating vaccination for their employees, or just everyday citizens resisting mask mandates or quarantine measures, it's heartening to see individuals fighting back, standing their ground and generally resisting the infringement of their rights by an out-of-control authoritarian state.

While governments, corporations or employers in general may believe they have the right to dictate our right to free movement, forced medical procedures, right to employment or rights to free association, there are citizens who have had enough and are fighting back against the monolithic machine attempting to lock us in our homes to die a slow death.

As Benjamin Franklin said "Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." And while there are those attempting to force that choice on us, the ability to resist has yet to be completely extinguished. Join us on this episode as we look at some of the inspiring stories of ordinary people fighting back.

SOTT Focus: Objective:Health: ‌Ivermectin: The Suppressed Miracle Drug for Covid-19

O:H header
As if it were a replay of the fiasco that went on with hydroxychloroquine, the establishment media, social media and governments have been collectively censoring information about a drug shown to be highly effective against Covid-19: Ivermectin.

The studies on the drug are nothing short of astounding - more effective than any drug or intervention previously studied. Yet YouTube felt justified in banning videos of congress testimony about the drug, Twitter has blocked links to a peer-reviewed medical journal that had the audacity to publish a study on the drug and the corporate media have been full of articles about the 'dangers' of this drug - despite the fact that it's been approved by the FDA (unlike Covid vaccines) and has been used safely for the last 5 decades.

Join us on this episode of Objective:Health where we give you the low-down on a truly amazing drug that 'THEY' don't want you to know about: Ivermectin.

SOTT Focus: MindMatters: Stalking the Night Stalker: Richard Ramirez, Intraspecies Predator

richard ramirez
In 1985, greater Los Angeles and San Francisco were struck with an ever-growing list of brutal murders, rapes and robberies of dozens of individuals, including children. The crimes shocked and terrified not only the families of the victims and the communities where the crimes took place - but also captured national attention - as the viciousness and malevolence involved in these acts were made public. The range of victims, and multiple MOs, stumped investigators and suggested that the serial killer involved was capable of almost anything.

This week on MindMatters we discuss the chilling story of Richard Ramirez AKA 'The Night Stalker,' as told in a new documentary on Netflix titled Night Stalker: The Hunt For a Serial Killer. Was Ramirez 'born' or 'made' into the the monster he became, what influenced him psychologically, and what about his very biology may have helped shape him into the serial killer he became? We also look at the effects Ramirez's acts had on the families of the victims, the investigators involved in tracking him down, and the 'larger than life' strangeness that permeates the entire story. Though stories like the Ramirez's are rare, this tale is an awful reminder that individuals like him do exist, and we'd do well to remember that many of them, unlike Ramirez, appear to be quite normal on the surface. (Also discussed: What The Night Stalker Documentary Leaves Out About Richard Ramirez)
