Extreme Temperatures

'Green' energy is a Scam. It isn't MEANT to work.

Scammers
© Corbett Report/Substack
Good news, everybody! A new report from the eggheads at Oxford University assures us that switching to renewables will actually save us trillions of dollars!

You heard that right. It won't cost us trillions of dollars to build out a completely new global energy grid infrastructure based on technology that is still under development and then to switch the entire global economy onto it. No, don't be silly! It's going to save us trillions of dollars. TRILLIONS, I tell you!

Now, I know what some of you skeptical Corbett Reporteers out there are thinking: how can that be? After all, as The Manhattan Contrarian blog points out in a recent post on the "Cost of the Green Energy Transition," the disruption to the European gas supply caused by the Ukraine kerfuffle is already wreaking havoc on Europe's economy, with Germans bracing for a 13% rise in their regulated consumer gas bills this year and UK residents facing a near tripling of their own energy bills. And that's before the Great Resetters start shutting off the pipes for real and forcing the hoi polloi on to the wind/solar/unicorn fart "green" energy grid.

But why believe the actual economic pain you're experiencing (heating your own home this winter) when your Oxfordian overlords have big, fat reports (that no one will read) telling you how much money will be saved by switching over to a green energy grid? After all, the BBC and MSN and Nature World News are tripping all over themselves to repeat these findings unquestioningly, so who are you to bring up any of the pesky "facts" that contradict this comforting fairy tale?

Oh, OK, I'll drop the act. The latest Oxford study — along with the many similar pronouncements made in recent years that the transition onto the green energy grid will be painless (or even profitable) — is easily debunkable propaganda. But it is pernicious propaganda. It's designed to get the plebes to actively embrace their own enslavement in the name of saving Mother Earth, and — up to this point — it has been remarkably effective in that goal.

In truth, the green energy sustainable enslavement grid is a scam from top to bottom. But it is not simply a pie-in-the-sky pipe dream being sold to a gullible and ignorant public. It's worse than that. It is a carefully crafted lie that is designed to lead us into our new role as serfs on the neofeudal plantation in the coming green dystopia.

Want to know the details? Let's dig in.

PETA calls for female sex strike to save the planet from storms caused by steak and sausages

Quick, save the world now! Create nice weather and peace on Earth with coercive bargaining, threats and deprivation.

The PETA-FemoNazi recipe to stop floods and hot weekends is to demand men give up meat or live without sex. There's no more persuasion for civilization — according to PETA it's their way or the highway, and most men must be too stupid to realize the PETA powers of climate prophesy are unquestionable. After all, there's no chance that animal activists could be fooled by emotional soppy propaganda pushed by Global bankers, billionaires and UN industrial cartels, right? PETA can tell those moist adiabatic lapse rates from the missing tropospheric hot spots. If only men could too!

PETA strays so far out their lane they end up in orbit. They alternately blame bad weather on meat-eating, then on men, on toxic masculinity and then they blame the babies too. It's breathtaking in grandiose, overbearing, imperious intolerance. Apparently omnivorous men don't deserve to have babies. A ban on procreation for meat-eating-men would be... purposeful. They actually say that. Your value to the world is measured in tons of carbon. A bit like a farm animal really? Except PETA select for small and obedient.

Bottom line: It's noble to treat your significant other as a cheap political toy, but remember, be nice to animals. That's ethics the PETA way.

The early-season storm that soaked Northern California on Sunday also brought some much-needed snowfall to the region's high-elevation areas. Lassen Volcanic National Park received a nice coat of new snow, temporarily closing the park's highway. Now, Monday morning photos of Mount Shasta are surfacing with the mountain already looking in early-winter form.

The Shasta Avalanche Center reported 4 inches of new snow at the Old Ski Bowl and shared photos of the region covered in that white goodness (flip through the photos for the full effect):

Two new records were broken at the weekend as temperatures at the weather station at Capanna Margherita in Monte Rosa, Italy, dropped to -6.2°F (-21.2°C) at 6 am on September 17. This breaks the previous coldest temperature measured for the day in 2013, which was -3.5°F (-19.7°C) on September 17, 2013. It also is the earliest temperatures have dropped below -4°F (-20°C) degrees in a season. The previous marker for breaking the -4°F (-20°C) barrier was set on September 24, 2004, a week later.

The following night temperatures dropped even lower to a minimum of -7.6°F (-22°C), which did not break any records but matched the previous monthly record for September, which was set on September 26, 2020. The lowest temperature ever registered at the Margherita Hut weather station was -40.5°F (41°C) in the winter of 1928 - 1929.
