Governments Have Suppressed the Dangers of Epidemics Before, Only Making Things Worse.

The mainstream American press has agreed - at the request of the government - not to report on suspected Ebola cases.

Let's provide some context ...

The U.S. National Academies of Science noted in 2005 (starting on the bottom of p. 64):

In the United States, national and local government and public health authorities badly mishandled the [1918 "Spanish Flu"] epidemic [which killed up to 50 million people worldwide], offering a useful case study.

The context is important. Every country engaged in World War I tried to control public perception. To avoid hurting morale, even in the nonlethal first wave the press in countries fighting in the war did not mention the outbreak. (But Spain was not at war and its press wrote about it, so the pandemic became known as the Spanish flu).

Comment: After witnessing the CDC's track record regarding autism, the flu, and vaccines it becomes glaringly obvious that they cannot be trusted with telling the truth about anything. Throughout history, governments and their representatives have lied and propagandized to sway public opinion and maintain a facade of control. History continues to repeat itself.

Biowarfare? Researchers say current strain of Ebola much more lethal and suggest links to US biowarfare labs

Noted infectious disease experts have said that the current strain of Ebola virus plaguing Africa and slowly spreading in the United States is potentially much more lethal than previous strains identified by virologists.

As reported by Washington's Blog, Dr. Michael Osterholm, the head of the Center for Infection Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, a prominent public health researcher who is nationally recognized, gave a talk in recent days explaining what another top Ebola virologist has found.

During his talk, which was broadcast on C-SPAN, Osterholm said Gary Kobinger, chief of Special Pathogens for Canada's national health agency, has said the current Ebola strain appears to be far worse than any previous strain. He added that Kobinger believes that the current strain could more easily be spread through aerosols than those previously identified as well.

This story just popped up on USA Today this evening: "New Ebola vaccine study has begun in Maryland."

Paragraph 1:
The first human trials of a Canadian Ebola vaccine began Monday, part of a flood of experimental therapies rushed into testing to battle the Ebola epidemic.
Great. Another experimental vaccine is being fast-tracked and rushed out thanks to a carefully planned fearporn propaganda campaign designed to ultimately make Big Pharma a lot of big profits. No one is talking about any natural alternatives, underlying nutritional deficiency issues or water treatment problems already plaguing Africa, or the fact that even the guy who designed the Ebola test says it's unreliable or the fact that stories have leaked out here and there in the African newspapers that people are purposefully poisoning city water wells with formaldehyde which, when ingested, can cause corrosive injuries that appear much like the symptoms of late-stage Ebola.

The deadliest outbreak on record of the Ebola virus has prompted some countries to respond with travel bans, in an attempt to curb the spread of the deadly virus.

The World Health Organization has recommended against any general ban on travel or trade with the West African countries that have been affected by the epidemic. The three countries most affected by the virus are Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. There were a small number of cases in Senegal, Nigeria and Mali. The WHO declared Senegal Ebola-free on Oct. 18 and declared Nigeria Ebola-free on Oct. 19.

Think your insurance company will cover you for Ebola? Think again

Remember the promise of universal health care with Obamacare, with no refusal for 'pre-existing conditions'? It looks like your insurance company may not have to cover you if you get Ebola. U.S. and British insurance companies have begun writing Ebola exclusions into standard policies to cover hospitals, event organizers, and other businesses vulnerable to local disruptions.

While it is estimated that expenditures to treat the original Dallas Ebola patient, Thomas Eric Duncan, were approximately $100,000 an hour (though he passed anyway), it looks like insurance companies won't be footing the bill.

President Obama originally refused to set up travel restrictions in and out of West Africa, too, even though the governments latest scare tactics and the CDC's ineptitude have resulted in insurance companies creating new policies which exclude Ebola care. Renewals will also become costlier for companies opting to insure business travel to West Africa or to cover the risk of losses from quarantine shutdowns at home.

Washington's official story on Ebola arouses suspicions of darker motives

The federal government has announced that thousands of additional US soldiers are being sent to Liberia. General Gary Volesky said the troops would "stamp out" ebola. The official story is that combat troops are being sent to build treatment structures for those infected with ebola.

Why combat troops? Why not send a construction outfit such as an engineer battalion if it has to be military? Why not do what the government usually does and contract with a construction company to build the treatment units? "Additional thousands of troops" results in a very large inexperienced construction crew for 17 treatment units. It doesn't make sense.

Stories that don't make sense and that are not explained naturally arouse suspicions, such as: Are US soldiers being used to test ebola vaccines and cures, or more darkly are they being used to bring more ebola back to the US?

I understand why people ask these questions. The fact that they will receive no investigative answer will deepen suspicions.

Study revealed virus remains infectious for extended periods of time

The deadly virus can survive for more than seven weeks on certain surfaces according to research conducted by the UK's Defense Science and Technology Laboratory.

Tests performed prior to the latest Ebola outbreak in 2010 showed the Zaire strain lived in samples in low temperatures on glass for nearly two months.

The results were published in a paper by Sophie Smither and her colleagues at the laboratory. Titled "The survival of filoviruses in liquids, on solid substrates and in a dynamic aerosol," the study details the results of tests on two filovirus strains, the Lake Victoria marburgvirus and Zaire ebolavirus.

The viruses were placed into guinea pig tissue samples and tested for their ability to survive in different liquids and on different surfaces at various temperatures. Three samples stored at 39 degrees Fahrenheit were recovered after 26 days from glass and plastic surfaces. The Zaire strain of Ebola was active after 50 days.

Comment: While the CDC is still trying to convince people that the PTB have everything under control, it is becoming more obvious to those who are paying attention, that the virus poses more risks than they are willing to concede and that hospitals are woefully unprepared to deal with the crisis. Taking responsibility for your own health is of paramount importance. If you begin to implement changes to your health regime now, you will have a much better chance of fighting off infection.

The mysterious polio-like disease affecting American kids

Columbus, Ohio - More than 100 cases of a polio-like syndrome causing full or partial paralysis of the arms or legs have been seen in children across the United States in recent months, according to doctors attending the annual meeting of the Child Neurology Society.

Symptoms have ranged from mild weakness in a single arm to complete paralysis of arms, legs, and even the muscles controlling the lungs, leading in some cases to a need for surgery to insert a breathing tube, doctors said.

The outbreak, which appears to be larger and more widespread than what has largely been previously reported by medical and news organizations, has neurologists and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention scrambling to find out what is causing these cases and how best to treat it.

"We don't know how to treat it, and we don't know how to prevent it," said Keith Van Haren, a child neurologist at Stanford University School of Medicine. "It actually looks just like polio, but that term really freaks out the public-health people."

A severely botched Ebola case (which resulted in at least two more cases) has turned a Dallas, Texas hospital into a virtual ghost town, with its ER visits dropping 50% and revenue dropping 25% since it happened. When I called the place, the woman in the ER who answered the phone refused to even tell me what the wait time would be if I showed up in the ER (per what she said was hospital "policy"); must be a new policy, because when ABC News asked a few days before me, they got an answer of "zero wait time" in a hospital where it used to be an hour.

People are realizing that going to the hospital in the case of Patient Zero Thomas Eric Duncan did not make his situation any better and by the second time, only prolonged the inevitable while putting other people in harm's way.

Why? Because, per the nurses' own statement on the shocking events that went on in that hospital during Duncan's care, the facility was not even remotely prepared.

We've noted for some time that Ebola can be spread by aerosols to frontline healthcare workers.

The CDC is finally admitting this fact.

The CDC put out a new poster stating:
Droplet spread happens when germs traveling inside droplets that are coughed or sneezed from a sick person enter the eyes, nose, or mouth of another person. Droplets travel short distances, less than 3 feet (1 meter) from one person to another.

A person might also get infected by touching a surface or object that has germs on it and then touching their mouth or nose.

Clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces like doorknobs, faucet handles, and toys, since the Ebola virus may live on surfaces for up to several hours.
