The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

November 30, 2002 - Airlines warned of missile threat - Federal security agencies have warned U.S. airlines and airports to be alert for attacks from portable anti-aircraft missiles after an Israeli airliner was fired at this week in Kenya.

Comment: Now, considering that Osama Is Under Your Bed , just what do we suppose this "dire warning" is supposed to distract our attention away from? Could it be the recent appointment of that old criminal, Henry Kissinger, to the cover up of the 9-11 attacks? Which reminds me - if the "dire warnings" don't carry enough impact, I wonder what kind of new "attack" they will engineer to whip people back to zombie mode?

Is Henry Kissinger a murderer? - Henry Kissinger's dark past seems to be enclosing around him as various countries in South America and Europe have sought to question him about actions taken by the Nixon and Ford administrations in which Kissinger was National Security Adviser and Secretary of State respectively. - The latest move to question Kissinger was by Peter Tatchell, a British human rights activist. While Kissinger was speaking in Britain at the UK's Institute of Directors annual conference on April 24, Tatchell attempted to have him arrested for committing war crimes under the Geneva Conventions Act. -

Tatchell explains that much of the evidence against Kissinger and his role in Indochina is highlighted in the book, "The Trial of Henry Kissinger," by Christopher Hitchens. According to Hitchens, Kissinger approved bombing runs that resulted in widespread civilian casualties. Kissinger was also responsible for the "premeditated, wholesale destruction of the environment using chemical defoliants such as Agent Orange," as Tatchell wrote in The Guardian. "These are war crimes under the 1957 Geneva Conventions Act." -

However, Indochina is not the only area that Kissinger may have been involved in the killings of thousands of innocents. Earlier in the month of April, Judge Baltasar Garzon, of Spain, wanted to question Kissinger's involvement in supporting Chilean dictator General Augusto Pinochet; a man responsible for human rights abuses resulting in many deaths. -

And in 2001, Juan Guzman, a Chilean judge, submitted 30 questions to Kissinger about his relationship with General Pinochet, to which Judge Guzman received no response. -

Pinochet came into power after the CIA, with the knowledge of Kissinger, conspired to overthrow democratically elected leader Salvador Allende. A few months before Allende became president, Kissinger made the famous statement on democracy, "I don’t see why we need to stand by and watch a country go communist because of the irresponsibility of its own people." His remarks were later reported in Newsweek and many other publications. -

Human rights lawyers in Chile have also filed complaints against Kissinger for his involvement in the covert program of political repression known as Operation Condor. - See also: ''The lies we are told''

Tony Blair's leaked speech - The following speech by Tony Blair was meant to be delivered on November 2, 2002, at the annual meeting of the Royal Association for the Promotion of Goblains in Britain, before it was nixed in order to let Jack Straw take the heat. Blair's original speech was apparently written by Blair himself. A few interspersed notes in red ink were apparently added by a Foreign Office editor; they appear below in square brackets. A copy of the manuscript was released to us by a good civil servant to whom we choose to refer as 'Sore Throat.' Read the text of the speech...

The Boogie Man is coming - In order to justify their complete and utter contempt for working people, education, the environment, health care, rampant corporate corruption, the faltering economy, the falling stock market, union busting, class warfare, racism and bigotry -- the Bush regime has had to reintroduce the Boogie Man. This was tactically necessary in order to justify the hugely bloated military budget that usurps funds from worthwhile programs that would benefit the vast majority of American citizens. These tremendous expenditures can only be justified in the face of credible threats -- such as the Boogie Man. - They tell us there are Boogie Men out there. They tell us they are all over the place. I saw it on the news. I read about it in the newspapers. There were stories about it in Time magazine. So it must be true. The Boogie Man is coming, and he may already be moving among us. Beware! What was that noise over there in the dimly lit corner of my office? Could it be the Boogie Man? No, it's just John Ashcroft watching over me and keeping me safe. Isn't it great to be an American?

Letter from Ayatollah Ashcroft to Ayatollah Shahroudi of Iran - I have been planning to write to you for some time. But as we are both aware, the anti-God forces in our countries keep us quite busy! I have been very occupied doing my share to keep these forces in check here. But their attacks against God and me have not died down, and they have been pushing me to the edge. The funny thing is they claim they are law-abiding citizens who are fighting to preserve their constitutionally guaranteed rights. Big words coming out of little heads! What do our actions have to do with the law and the constitution? These ignorant infidels fail to see that it's God who's above all, and it's God whom we serve. It was God's will that put you and me where we are, and it's God who drives us to do what we do. We do respect law and the constitution, as long as they are within God's domain. And we judge as God shall do on the judgment day. Is that so difficult to understand?

Norway set to ban public smoking - The Norwegian Government has proposed a total ban on smoking inside all public places by 2004. The bill is expected to be passed by parliament early next year. It would make Norway the first country in the world to ban smoking completely from all indoor public places. - Norway is already one of the most restrictive societies in Europe when it comes to smoking, with curbs on smoking in all offices and public buildings.

Comment: When we deeply consider this matter, some serious questions rise to the surface. The first question is, of course, since our governments, individually and collectively, have such abysmal track records in terms of doing anything that is good for us, why do people automatically think that the campaign against smoking is a "good thing?"

By now, most readers of this site have a pretty good grip on the fact that we are being poisoned by fluoride in our drinking water, by toxins in the air from industrialization, aircraft fuels, exhaust from combustion engines, and chemicals in our food - including aspartame - all of which are far more deadly than tobacco when the matter is fairly investigated. So, why has tobacco been targeted? Something is wrong with this picture.

Fluoride and aspartame are certifiably far more deadly than nicotine... the only thing is, both of them tend to damage and suppress the ability to think. The only reason I can think of for smoking to be targeted is the well-known fact that nicotine stimulates the production of acetylcholine receptors in the brain and thus, is one of the few herbs in our world that actually, testably, improves the ability to think. Everything else in our environment that causes cancer is ignored or allowed to kill us. And above all, in the present day, we are not supposed to think. Because, if people were thinking, they would realize that Osame is NOT under the bed and they would figure out that Bush and the Gang really are the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler and the Brown Shirts and that the attack on the World Trade Center was the new Reichstag Fire, and they would have a clue as to what America is facing in the upcoming years....

Federal civilian workers won't see the full pay raise they were promised with President Bush's decision to cut the planned salary hikes because of the war on terrorism. The workers were to have received an average increase of 18.6 percent, but will now get a 3.1 percent raise. Comment: Now, let me try to remember... hmmm.... didn't we read some stories a few days ago about Bush's spending??? Ah, yes, here they are:

Homeland a megamerger mess - Last week, the Senate followed the House in approving the Homeland Security bill. The legislation will combine 22 existing agencies and 170,000 federal employees to create a new government department with at least a $35 billion annual budget request.

Israel will ask the United States for 8 to 10 Billion Bux to bail out its failing economy. - The request for guarantees on foreign bank loans would be in addition to the $2.9 million in direct loans and grants that Israel receives annually from the United States, the official said. - More than 10 percent of the work force is unemployed and inflation has risen to about 8 percent this year. The official said the economic outlook could worsen if the United States attacks Iraq – which many fear could prompt Baghdad to fire missiles, or chemical or biological weapons, at Israel.

A federal appeals court Tuesday ruled that the U.S. government does not owe free lifetime medical care to World War II and Korean War veterans who agreed to serve 20 years in exchange, despite promises made to them when they were in the armed forces. The ruling represents a victory for the federal government, which had argued the veterans were not entitled to the benefits. The ruling will potentially save the government billions of dollars in health care costs.

Comment: Meanwhile, of course, we realize the Bush couldn't care less about the American People. Toronto Star: Bush is a Psychopath - When Mark Crispin Miller first set out to write Dyslexicon: Observations on a National Disorder , about the ever-growing catalogue of President George W. Bush's verbal gaffes, he meant it for a laugh. But what he came to realize wasn't entirely amusing. - Since the 2000 presidential campaign, Miller has been compiling his own collection of Bush-isms, which have revealed, he says, a disquieting truth about what lurks behind the cock-eyed leer of the leader of the free world. He's not a moron at all... [...]

In studying Bush's various adventures in oration, he started to see a pattern emerging. "He has no trouble speaking off the cuff when he's speaking punitively, when he's talking about violence, when he's talking about revenge. "When he struts and thumps his chest, his syntax and grammar are fine," Miller said. "It's only when he leaps into the wild blue yonder of compassion, or idealism, or altruism, that he makes these hilarious mistakes." While Miller's book has been praised for its "eloquence" and "playful use of language," it has enraged Bush supporters. [...]

By stumbling blithely along, he has been able to push his image as "just folks" — a normal guy who screws up just like the rest of us. This, in fact, is a central cog in his image-making machine, Miller says: Portraying the wealthy scion of one of America's most powerful families as a regular, imperfect Joe. But the depiction, Miller says, is also remarkable for what it hides — imperfect, yes, but also detached, wealthy and unable to identify with the "folks" he's been designed to appeal to. An example, Miller says, surfaced early in his presidential tenure. "I know how hard it is to put food on your family," Bush was quoted as saying. "That wasn't because he's so stupid that he doesn't know how to say, `Put food on your family's table' — it's because he doesn't care about people who can't put food on the table," Miller says. Russian President Vladimir Putin heads to Beijing at the weekend, the first major international leader to visit China since the leadership changes announced at the ruling Communist Party's recent Congress. Aside from getting to know China's new generation of leaders, topping his agenda for the three-day visit will be strengthening defense and economic cooperation, Iraq and the on-going war on terrorism.

09-14-02
Q: (V) Okay. I'm a little curious, and I don't know if it's been asked before or not: what is China's role in regards to Iraq, is there any...
A: Big question mark, eh?
Q: (V) Well, it just keeps popping into my mind, and popping into my mind, China, China, China, China. They're so quiet at this time right now, I don't hear them saying anything...
A: Indeed...
Q: (V) Are they supplying Iraq with the chemical and biological weapons?
A: And...
Q: (V) Nuclear weapons?
A: ?
Q: (V) You can't, you can't say that?
A: Nope.
Q: (A) In fact there is an answer. The answer is yes. I mean if you were China and you had nuclear weapons and you needed a LOT of money, what would you do? (L) And there is somebody who needs what you have, and there is all that oil and all that money, are you kidding? Saddam wouldn't be being as cocky as he is if he didn't have a really big boom-boom lined up. And it's aimed at us, I can guarantee. (V) Now does our government and their so called intelligence know that this is happening? (A) Of course! (V) Are they in cahoots with them? (L) Sure. (A) On a certain level everybody's selling everything. (L) At those levels above they are because their objective is to decimate the Earth's population. (V) Is China the only one feeding Iraq weapons? (L) Why should they be? The US is feeding them weapons. I mean it's so dirty it's inconceivable. They're all in bed together. (V) Is Laura right, the world leaders, the 10 % that want to get rid of masses of people and they are all in cahoots to do that?
A: That is the plan.

November 29, 2002 - A ball of fire streaking across the sky early Thursday had people throughout the Northwest flooding radio and television stations with calls reporting a meteor shower. Turns out the burning light came from a Russian rocket body re-entering the Earth's atmosphere about 6:15 a.m. The U.S. Strategic Command in Omaha, Neb., and the North American Aerospace Defense Command confirmed a Russian rocket fell back to Earth, but did not immediately release further details.

Comment: It's so comforting to know that they can so easily identify whatever it was that was flying across North American skies... Seems that this ability to "identify" stuff is somewhat selective, however, as the following report will show:

NORAD investigates vapor trail reports - Fighter jets scrambled in an unsuccessful attempt to investigate a contrail of unknown origin first seen over the Caribbean and later reported over the midwestern United States, the Department of Defense said Thursday. The North American Aerospace Defense Command scrambled the jets soon after unverified reports were received around 4 p.m. Wednesday that the contrail, seen near the Turks and Caicos Islands, was headed northwest toward the United States, said Lt. Cmdr. Curtis Jenkins, a spokesman for the Colorado Springs-based group. A contrail is a white trail of condensed water vapor that sometimes forms in the wake of an aircraft.

Comment: I'm tellin' ya - there's a schedule driving Bush and the Gang, and they are running scared. Something Wicked is Coming... especially when we consider the following:

UK opens its own 'X-file' - In the report, entitled "Unexplained Lights," a U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel told how he witnessed an object emitting a "red sun-like light" moving through the trees of Rendlesham forest. Two U.S. security patrolmen first spotted "unusual lights" outside the back gate of RAF Woodbridge, according to Lt. Col. Charles I. Halt's report. - A Ministry of Defence memo included in the file shows some scepticism about the sightings, although it said the department was "open-minded" about them. - "There were also suggestions that fireball activity might explain some of the lights. In the absence of any hard evidence, the MoD remains open-minded about these sightings."

"I did initially intend it to be a funny book. But that was before I had a chance to read through all the transcripts," Miller, an American author and a professor of culture and communication at New York University, said recently in Toronto. "Bush is not an imbecile. He's not a puppet. I think that Bush is a sociopathic personality. I think he's incapable of empathy. He has an inordinate sense of his own entitlement, and he's a very skilled manipulator. And in all the snickering about his alleged idiocy, this is what a lot of people miss."

Miller's judgment, that the president might suffer from a bona fide personality disorder, almost makes one long for the less menacing notion currently making the rounds: that the White House's current occupant is, in fact, simply an idiot. - If only.

Miller's rendering of the president is bleaker than that. [...]

At a public address in Nashville, Tenn., in September, Bush provided one of his most memorable stumbles. Trying to give strength to his case that Saddam Hussein had already deceived the West concerning his store of weapons, Bush was scripted to offer an old saying: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. What came out was the following: "Fool me once, shame ... shame on ... you." Long, uncomfortable pause. "Fool me — can't get fooled again!" -

"There's an episode of Happy Days, where The Fonz has to say, `I'm sorry' and can't do it. Same thing," Miller said. -

This, then, is why he's so closely watched by his handlers, Miller says — not because he'll say something stupid, but because he'll overindulge in the language of violence and punishment at which he excels. "He's a very angry guy, a hostile guy. He's much like Nixon. So they're very, very careful to choreograph every move he makes. They don't want him anywhere near protestors, because he would lose his temper."

Miller, without question, is a man with a mission — and laughter isn't it. "I call him the feel bad president, because he's all about punishment and death," he said. "It would be a grave mistake to just play him for laughs."

Comment: As it happens, Miller is not the first to notice this problem and make the same assessment. On the Signs of the Times for October 21, I had collected together observations from various sources and pointed out that the syntactical problem that seems to be at the root of Bush's speech difficulties was a common trait of psychopathy.

One has only to read our synopsis of psychopaths and then begin to stand back and observe the current events in which George Bush and his gang are involved, to see the clear evidence of psychopathy.

Then, of course, as we have learned, there are the " Organic Portals." The C's have suggested that Psychopaths are merely defective Organic Portals and that half the population of the planet consists of Organic Portals. If such is the case, then it is not difficult to understand why the same distribution in the United States would result in that many people begin totally asleep and under the control of a charismatic psychopath, without any possibility of waking up.

We must then consider the other half of the population, most of which are under the influence of Organic Portals, or asleep due to manipulation of Organic Portals in positions of influence - such as the Mass Media - educational institutions, and so forth. In other words, our world could be likened to an insane asylum that has been taken over by the inmates. The reader of this site who has made it through the Wave and the Adventures Series, probably knows already that learning about psychopaths, Organic Portals, and the true conditions of this world is essential in order not to align oneself with lies and manipulations. If you have also followed our recent interaction with the French Television Stars, Igor and Grichka Bogdanov, you have an even better idea of how the Control System is being run by psychopaths and Organic Portals. So, allow us to suggest to those of you who have not read these all-important articles on the site, it may be crucial in the next few years to have this information. It is only going to get worse, and we have about three years of utter chaos ahead of us.

PRESIDENT Bush displayed no interest in having Congress extend unemployment benefits before it adjourned for more than 800,000 jobless workers whose essential federal lifeline will expire right after Christmas. And a Happy New Year to you, too, Master of the Universe. The White House and the incoming Republican-controlled Congress are gleefully making plans for many more tax giveaways to benefit rich individuals and lavish loopholes to benefit corporations. But the victims of a wave of corporate collapses and employee downsizing in the shaky economy were stiffed by the GOP-controlled House of Representatives and the White House. The president ignored Democratic pleas to lean on his party's House leaders. The Republicans, flaunting their new political power, are practicing the Marie Antoinette school of economics. If the people are starving because they cannot pay the price of bread, let them eat cake. - The GOP's verbal sophistry is small comfort to the 820,000 jobless workers whose benefits run out Dec. 28 or the 95,000 whose benefits will run out the following week and every week afterward.

The Reader who sent in this link comments: Seeing this article by Marianne Means brings back childhood memories on the chicken farm. People on foot would stop and ask my father if they could work for food. Other times as Dad could afford it, he would give them $4.50 a week along with that midday meal. Young teenagers who lived around us joined the CCC, the Civilian Conservation Corp to go off and clean wooded areas ( I really think it was "make work" to balance out the meals being given to the young men. Then there was the WPA. I remember there was a crew who came around and installed "outhouses" , making them more sanitary than the usual. Those were bad times, and I do think that those times are here or are right around the corner. This environment and the opinions my father had about the Hoover regime and the Republicans left me a Democrat for life.

"The human race is likely to be wiped out by a doomsday virus . . . unless we set up colonies in space. Although Sept. 11th was horrible, it didn't threaten the survival of the human race like nuclear weapons do," said the Cambridge University Scientist. "In the long term, I'm more worried about biology. Nuclear weapons need large facilities, but genetic engineering can be done in a small lab. The danger is that, either by accident or design, we create a virus that destroys us. I don't think the human race will survive . . unless we spread into space. There are too many accidents that can befall life on a single planet." All of the above concerns were expressed a quarter century ago in the following dissertation by Mr Falconi. [ More]

Domestic Spying Pressed - City officials argue that officers need more elbow room to photograph, tape and infiltrate political and social organizations to uproot terror networks. But civil libertarians warn of a return to the unsavory days of old, when New York's police department acquired a reputation for police "black bag" break-ins and spying on political dissidents. - It's a battle with echoes in other cities. In Chicago, officials have already weakened a court decree limiting police spying. In San Francisco, officials have reversed their own 1997 decision and have now joined an FBI terrorism task force, even though FBI surveillance of mosques and peaceful protests could violate the California constitution. Taken together, these steps suggest a cultural and legal shift driven by fear of terrorism in cities where a civil libertarian impulse once was widely shared. Nowhere is that more noticeable than here.

Comment: Just keep firmly in mind that this entire reality of terror and spying on America citizens to "protect" them was created and implemented by the Bush Junta, starting long ago, but the wheels were set firmly into motion when they assassinated JFK.

The United States is quietly examining the feasibility of assassinating Hizbullah leaders linked to the deaths of U.S. soldiers and civilians in the 1980s. The assassination option was bolstered following the success of a U.S. mission that tracked and killed six Al Qaida operatives in Yemen last month.

Bin Laden tape a fake, Swiss lab says - The latest audiotape statement attributed to accused terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden is not authentic, a Swiss research institute said. The Lausanne-based Dalle Molle Institute for Perceptual Artificial Intelligence said it is 95-per-cent certain the tape does not feature the voice of the long-absent terrorist leader.

Comment: Now, after reading the above article, go back and read: Osama Is Under Your Bed and again consider the following: Officials confirm bin Laden's voice on tape - U.S. intelligence officials have formally concluded that the voice on the audiotape broadcast last week by the Qatar-based, Arabic-language TV network Al-Jazeera is "almost certainly the voice of Osama bin Laden" and that it was recorded in the last several weeks. Comment: Sounds convincing, right? Look at the following:

" Gentlemen! We have called you together to inform you that we are going to overthrow the United States government." So begins a statement being delivered by Gen. Carl W. Steiner, former Commander-in-chief, U.S. Special Operations Command. - But it is not Steiner. It is the result of voice "morphing" technology developed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. - Most Americans were introduced to the tricks of the digital age in the movie Forrest Gump, when the character played by Tom Hanks appeared to shake hands with President Kennedy. For Hollywood, it is special effects. For covert operators in the U.S. military and intelligence agencies, it is a weapon of the future.

Why is the United States Government Using such a Weapon against its own people?

The Eugene City Council Passes a Resolution Opposing the USA Patriot Act - Almost 2000 people had signed a petition asking the Eugene City Council to pass the Lane County Bill of Rights Defense Committee's Proposed Resolution. The document asks the US Attorney's Office and all federal, state, and local law enforcement officials to report to the City of Eugene the extent and manner in which they act under the new law. For instance, the resolution asks police to report the names and charges of any people being detained under the law, and to disclose the extent that federal authorities are monitoring political and religious gatherings in Eugene. The new Eugene resolution is more symbolic than anything because officials don't have to comply with it. The document also asks Oregon Congressmen to try and revoke the law. 14 other local governments have passed similar resolutions.

Israel vows to avenge horror at the Hotel Paradise - Mr Netanyahu called the attack "a very dangerous escalation of terror''. He added: "It means that terror organisations and the regimes behind them are able to arm themselves with weapons which can cause mass casualties anywhere and everywhere. Today, they're firing the missiles at Israeli planes, tomorrow they'll fire missiles at American planes, British planes, every country's aircraft."

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon vowed to hunt down the plotters behind twin attacks in Kenya that nearly brought down a plane and killed 13, including three Israelis, in a suicide car bombing. Comment: I hope they extend their search to the alphabet soup guys in the employ of the US and Israel... which is where the culprits will be found. See the following:

The FBI gave a warning six months ago that civilian aircraft could be targeted by al-Qaeda terrorists firing missiles from the ground. Airlines noted the warning but few took any action because installing a basic anti-missile system would cost £2 million per aircraft.

Faced with such wickedness, the easy and wrong response is rhetorical overkill. A suicide car bomb in a hotel and a shoulder-launched missile attack on a civilian aircraft have had the effect that was intended, of striking fear into the hearts of millions. - What has happened since 11 September 2001 has – rightly – been an adjustment not a revolution. People still work in tall buildings and they still travel by air. After Bali and the Kenyan bomb, they will still travel as tourists to all corners of the globe. But attitudes have changed. The perception by Americans of the threats to their security has shifted. Over the past 14 months, the national missile defence shield has hardly been mentioned. However, one pre-twin towers security obsession has not only persisted but has been magnified, namely the supposed threat from Iraq. - Where the rhetoric of the war against terrorism has been taken seriously – as in the campaign against Iraq – it has been damaging. It has been used to curtail civil liberties to no good purpose in a remarkable range of countries, from the US and Britain to Russia, India and Indonesia. Although we cannot be sure, there is no evidence that the denial of human rights to the detainees in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, has yielded the US any significant intelligence on the activities of al-Qa'ida. - Beyond that, the campaign against al-Qa'ida and other brands of anti-American and anti-Israeli extremism should involve a better understanding of the causes of Muslim grievances, some of which are justified. Of course, even if the Israeli-Palestinian conflict could be resolved – not an imminent possibility – it would be little defence against the demented ideology of Osama bin Laden. But it is something that ought to be attempted anyway.

Comment: Now just put the clues together from the article: Osama Is Under Your Bed as well as the clear and evident fact that the "terrorists" are completely "manufactured" and "acted" by the Covert Operators of the U.S. military and intelligence agencies, as well as Mossad, as we have repeatedly pointed out, and what do you have? Does 2 + 2 still equal 4? Just NOTICE that each and every one of these "events" simply gives the Bush Gang and Israel the "raison" to do what they WANT to do in the first place. WHO BENEFITS? In NO WAY do the Palestinians or other Islamic people benefit from this terrorism. And it is a certainty that the Islamic groups KNOW this.

November 28, 2002 - I'm an American. In fact, I am SO American that I have more than a dozen guys with "RS" next to their names on the old family tree. (The genealogists know that "RS" means "Revolutionary War Soldier.") What's more, I even have antecedent connections to Mayflower families. So, in the terms of the American Federal Government that stole this country by decimating the indigenous populations, I'm a REAL Amurrican. So, in the spirit of thanksgiving - at a point in time when we have Bush and the Warmongers to thank for 9-11 and the Fascist take-over of America, let's have a look at Americans:

NOTICE OF REVOCATION OF INDEPENDENCE

To the residents of the United States of America,

In view of your abject failure to elect a President and thus to govern yourselves, We give hereby Notice of the Revocation of your Independence, effective today at Five O'clock Greenwich Mean Time.

Her Britannic Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will resume sovereign duties forthwith over all states, commonwealths, and other territories. Except Florida, which Shall be returned to His Illustrious Catholic Majesty, King Juan Carlos of Spain. Your new Prime Minister (The Rt Hon Tony Blair, for the 97.85% of you who have until now been unaware that there is a world outside your borders) will suggest to Her Majesty a Governor-General for America without the need for further elections. Congress and the Senate will be disbanded. A questionnaire will be circulated next year to determine whether any of you noticed.

To aid in the transition to a British Crown Dependency, the following rules are introduced with immediate effect:

1. You should look up "revocation" in the Oxford English Dictionary. Then look up "aluminum". Check the pronunciation guide. You will be amazed at just how wrongly you have been pronouncing it. Generally, you should raise your vocabulary to acceptable levels. Look up "vocabulary." Using the same twenty-seven words interspersed with filler noises such as "like" and "you know" is an unacceptable and inefficient form of communication. Look up "interspersed."

2. There is no such thing as "US English." We will let Microsoft know on your behalf.

3. You should learn to distinguish the English and Australian accents. It really isn't that difficult.

4. Hollywood will be required occasionally to cast British actors as the good guys.

5. You should relearn your original national anthem, "God Save The Queen," but only after fully carrying out Task 1. We would not want you to get confused and give up half way through.

6. You should stop playing American "football." There is only one kind of football. What you refer to as American "football" is not a very good game. The 2.15% of you who are aware that there is a world outside your borders may have noticed that no one else plays "American" football. You will no longer be allowed to play it, and should instead play proper football. Initially, it would be best if you played with the girls. It is a difficult game.

Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby (which is similar to American "football," but does not involve stopping for a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full kevlar body armour). We are hoping to get together at least an American rugby sevens side by 2005.

7. You should declare war on Quebec and France, using nuclear weapons if they give you any "merde." The 97.85% of you who were not aware that there is a world outside your borders should count yourselves lucky. The Russians have never been the bad guys.

8. July 4th is no longer a public holiday. November 8th will be a new national holiday, but only in the British Empire. It will be called "Indecisive Day."

9. All American cars are hereby banned. They are crap and it is for your own good. When we show you German cars, you will understand what we mean.

10. Please tell us who killed JFK. It's been driving us crazy.

Comment: Well, I think we have a tentative answer on that one: the Bush Junta. And now, the wheels they set in motion then, have rolled them right into the seats of total power - just as they planned.

**An American presidential election features four candidates. One advocates negotiating new and more extensive arms control treaties, one wants to set up new programs for elementary scools, one wants to end all taxation and set up extra printing presses to print the money to pay the government's debts, and one advocates invading Mexico "to finish what we should have done in 1846". The one concerned about arms control smoked marijuana in college, the one concerned about education has a brother with connections to organized crime, the one with the innovative fiscal policies is a minister, and the imperialist has been charged with drunk driving five times.

So which one wins the election?

The one who's never been accused of adultery.

**The following is allegedly the transcript of a radio conversation of a US naval ship with Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October 1995, as released by the Chief of Naval Operations:

Canadians: Please divert your course 15 degrees the South to avoid a collision.

Americans: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees the North to avoid a collision.

Canadians: Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision.

Americans: This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course.

Canadians: No. I say again, you divert YOUR course.

Americans: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER USS LINCOLN, THE SECOND LARGEST SHIP IN THE UNITED STATES' ATLANTIC FLEET. WE ARE ACCOMPANIED BY THREE DESTROYERS, THREE CRUISERS AND NUMEROUS SUPPORT VESSELS. I DEMAND THAT YOU CHANGE YOUR COURSE 15 DEGREES NORTH, I SAY AGAIN, THAT'S ONE FIVE DEGREES NORTH, OR COUNTER-MEASURES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THIS SHIP.

Canadians: This is a lighthouse. Your call.

**It is said that Mohandas Ghandi was asked, "What is your opinion of American civilization?" His reply: "I think it would be an excellent idea."

**Americans are so dumb for 6 weeks they thought the Taliban was a new SUV.

do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place.

do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures.'

do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

are there drive-through banks, pharmacies, and liquor stores.

are parking lots (car parks) larger than the buildings they serve.

do people buy sugar-frosted honey-coated deep-fat-fried cheese sticks - and a Diet Coke.

"The Land of the Free" with the world's second highest incarceration rate.

**An American, a Canadian, and an Australian were sitting in a seedy bar enjoying a few beers.

The American grabbed his beer, knocked it back in one gulp, then he threw the glass into the air and shot it with his handgun. As he set the handgun on the bar, he told the Canadian and the Australian that in the great U.S. of A, they had so much money they never drank out of the same glass twice.

Next the Australian drank his beer, threw the glass into the air and shot the glass with the American's gun. As he was setting the gun back on the bar he proclaimed that in Australia they had so much sand that glass was cheap and he too never drank out of the same glass twice.

Next the Canadian drank his beer, grabbed the gun off the bar, and shot the American. As he was setting the gun back on the bar, he told the Australian that in Canada we have so many Americans you never have to drink with the same one twice.

**A story that appeared on the UPI site on Nov 15: There is more evidence from the heartland that American mathematical skills are lacking. The Salt Lake Tribune reported last month that a Salt Lake County health inspector had told a restaurant that, as FDA research indicated one in four eggs were infected with salmonella, they should never use more than three when making a quiche. When the restaurant manager asked if they should just throw away every fourth egg, the inspector said she would research the issue. Further comment is impossible. Britain to Publish Files on UFO Sightings - The British government will publish files on reported UFO sightings as part of a shake-up of its laws on freedom of information. Among the documents to be published is the "Rendlesham File," which deals with one of the country's best known sightings of an unidentified flying object. Until now, only about 20 members of the public have seen the file, which relates to a sighting in Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk, eastern England, in 1980. According to some UFO enthusiasts, eyewitnesses including U.S. officers at a nearby military base saw a brilliantly lit spaceship land in the forest on two consecutive nights. Skeptics say the witnesses were fooled by the beam from a lighthouse on the nearby coast. The Rendlesham file has been available to the public for some time but only at the discretion of the Ministry of Defense. Now, the government says it will publish it on the Internet before the end of this week, along with other files on reported UFO sightings. "These first steps mark important progress toward changing the culture of government and extending the public's right to know what is being done in their name," Freedom of Information Minister Yvette Cooper said in a statement. The government says it intends to repeal or amend up to 100 pieces of legislation which currently prohibit disclosure of information. It aims to replace them with provisions of a new Freedom of Information Act, passed in 2000.

Comment: It will be interesting to see if this is going to be more "damage control," or if they know that "contact" is imminent and have decided to come clean in advance... Yes indeedy, things are really heating up here on the BBM... it's gonna be a wild ride for the next few years!

ovember 27, 2002 - Osama Is Under Your Bed - It's been a nervous week. Every night before bed, I've taken a broom handle and thrust it under my bed. Each time, I'm waiting for the "Oof!" Osama is under there, I just know it. If the President says it, it must be true, right? One of these nights, I'll bust that Osama in the ribs with my handle. Just you wait. I'm keeping my feet under the covers, though. You know, just in case. -

It happens like clockwork these days: A significant piece of legislation comes before Congress that was ostensibly drafted to help defend the nation against terrorism. - terror warnings suddenly bloom like nightshade. The White House or the FBI or the CIA, or all three in concert, ratchet up the national tension level with forecasts of doom and death and fire from unknown quarters. Said legislation passes without so much as leaving a wake in its path, nothing explodes, and everyone goes on with their lives in the belief that they just narrowly dodged a bullet. -

Sometimes, this has happened when no legislation is pending. Sometimes, this happens when Mr. Bush and his pals feel they have too much light on them. When Time and Newsweek came out with blazing cover stories, and the headline "Bush Knew," when word got out that the administration had been warned specifically and in detail about terrorist plans to hijack airplanes and slam them into buildings, all of a sudden the threat siren began howling. They're going to blow up the Brooklyn Bridge! They're going to blow up the Statue of Liberty! Run for your lives! -

Needless to say, those structures still stand. No one is talking about "Bush Knew" anymore, though. -

Hmmm.

Like clockwork this happens. Cut this phenomenon with Occam's Razor – "all things being equal, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one" – and the word 'coincidence' becomes hard to spit out.

It happened again last week. -

One would think so profound a sea change in the essential rights and freedoms of the citizenry would be subject to intense Congressional debate, no? After all, it took Congress two years of discussion to nail down the specifics and the fine print of the National Security Act. This is important stuff here.

Like clockwork comes the klaxon CNN headline on Nov. 15: 'FBI Warns al Qaeda Planning "Spectacular" Attack.'

Spectacular, no less.

Like clockwork comes the voice of Osama, prophesying death and doom from beyond the grave.

Wasn't he dead for a while? This fellow has made more comebacks than Elvis, and always in time to redirect the national dialogue away from discussing the ways and means of incredibly important legislation. -

They will keep doing this until someone calls them on it, out loud and in public.

9-11 COVER UP BY BUSH BEGUN! - London's Financial Times reports: [Q]uestions are likely to be raised about Mr Kissinger’s extensive links with foreign governments as part of Kissinger & Associates, his consulting business. Unlike ordinary government appointees, Mr Kissinger will not be required to disclose all his clients before serving on the commission. Some critics claimed Mr Kissinger’s appointment would make a thorough investigation impossible. The liberal Federation of American Scientists called it “an astonishing move that heralds stark limits on the scope of the investigation.” The inquiry may also run into political obstacles. In agreeing to establish the commission, the White House had insisted on appointing the chairman and four other members of the 10-man commission. Congressional Democrats will name the other five members no later than December 15. Mr Kissinger’s solid foreign policy and Republican credentials could make him a safe choice to head the commission. White House officials are hoping to avoid any embarrassing conclusions in the midst of President Bush’s re-election drive in 2004. Ari Fleischer, the White House spokesman, said on Wednesday that Mr Bush did not expect to testify before the commission.

The Latest Kissinger Outrage Why is a proven liar and wanted man in charge of the 9/11 investigation? - When in office, Henry Kissinger organized massive deceptions of Congress and public opinion. The most notorious case concerned the "secret bombing" of Cambodia and Laos, and the unleashing of unconstitutional methods by Nixon and Kissinger to repress dissent from this illegal and atrocious policy. - In other words, the new "commission" will be chaired by a man with a long, proven record of concealing evidence and of lying to Congress, the press, and the public. -

In his second career as an obfuscator and a falsifier, Kissinger appropriated the records of his time at the State Department and took them on a truck to the Rockefeller family estate in New York. He has since been successfully sued for the return of much of this public property... -

On Memorial Day 2001, Kissinger was visited by the police in the Ritz Hotel in Paris and handed a warrant, issued by Judge Roger LeLoire, requesting his testimony in the matter of disappeared French citizens in Pinochet's Chile. Kissinger chose to leave town rather than appear at the Palais de Justice as requested. He has since been summoned as a witness by senior magistrates in Chile and Argentina who are investigating the international terrorist network that went under the name "Operation Condor" and that conducted assassinations, kidnappings, and bombings in several countries. -

Moreover, on Sept. 10, 2001, a civil suit was filed in a Washington, D.C., federal court, charging Kissinger with murder. The suit, brought by the survivors of Gen. Rene Schneider of Chile, asserts that Kissinger gave the order for the elimination of this constitutional officer of a democratic country because he refused to endorse plans for a military coup. Every single document in the prosecution case is a U.S.-government declassified paper. And the target of this devastating lawsuit is being invited to review the shortcomings of the "intelligence community"?

In late 2001, the Brazilian government canceled an invitation for Kissinger to speak in Sao Paulo because it could no longer guarantee his immunity. Earlier this year, a London court agreed to hear an application for Kissinger's imprisonment on war crimes charges while he was briefly in the United Kingdom. It is known that there are many countries to which he cannot travel at all, and it is also known that he takes legal advice before traveling anywhere. Does the Bush administration feel proud of appointing a man who is wanted in so many places, and wanted furthermore for his association with terrorism and crimes against humanity? Or does it hope to limit the scope of the inquiry to those areas where Kissinger has clients?

There is a tendency, some of it paranoid and disreputable, for the citizens of other countries and cultures to regard President Bush's "war on terror" as opportunist and even as contrived. I myself don't take any stock in such propaganda. But can Congress and the media be expected to swallow the appointment of a proven coverup artist, a discredited historian, a busted liar, and a man who is wanted in many jurisdictions for the vilest of offenses? The shame of this, and the open contempt for the families of our victims, ought to be the cause of a storm of protest.

Comment:Well, if anything ever contributed to the proof of the above discounted "conspiracy theory," the appointment of Kissinger ought to be considered the smoking gun. In fact, as we have said repeatedly, the Bush Gang - just like Hitler and his Brown Shirts - did not just "allow" the burning of the WTC/Reichstag, they participated.

Judge Refuses to Turn Over Cheney Case - A federal judge on Wednesday blocked the Bush administration's attempt to take a lawsuit against Vice President Dick Cheney's energy task force to a federal appeals court. - The ruling by U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan let stand his order requiring the White House by Dec. 9 to produce task force documents it considers not to be privileged and make available a list of documents it believes should continue to be withheld. - Separately, the U.S. Court of Appeals is still considering an emergency petition the Justice Department filed Nov. 12 requesting a review of Sullivan's orders in the case. - Judicial Watch praised Sullivan's ruling in a statement, calling the administration's request for an appeal before the case is even decided "unorthodox to say the least."

Comment: Well, expect more "unorthodox" things to transpire in this case.... not the least of which could be the "sudden death" of the judge in a plane crash. That's a pretty standard tactic of the Bush gang. They seem to like flying planes into things...

A television ad poking fun at President Bush has been banned in Britain -- unless the advertisers get Bush's permission to air it. The animated ad shows a cartoon image of Bush opening a D-V-D and then saying "My favorite -- just pop it in the video player." Bush is then shown sticking the D-V-D in a toaster and burning it. The commercial is aimed at promoting an animated series that mocks celebrities and politicians. But a British advertising watchdog group says living people can't be referred to in ads without their permission. But one producer says that's "an idiotic request" -- adding that it would be a bit tricky to get permission from the likes of Osama bin Laden. Comment: A sign of "creeping Fascism."

Greed and torture at the House of Saud - The threat comes from the stark, alluring nihilism of Osama bin Laden and his supporters, and the House of Saud takes refuge in denial, and cruelty. There is no better evidence of the feebleness of its grip on power than its denial of twenty-first century evidence that the seven Western men it has locked up for planting bombs that killed other Westerners are innocent. His Highness Prince Saud Al Faisal, the Foreign Minister, had never been presented with a courtroom artist's drawing of one of his own government's torturers before. He pulled a face at the pencil sketch of Lt Col Abdul Aziz, a state-licensed sadist who tortures for the House of Saud. The drawing comes with a warning: never torture an accountant. They never forget the small print, and make great witnesses.

CIA sez: Saudis still sending tens of millions to Al Qaida - The CIA has traced transfers of tens of millions of dollars from the Saudis to Al Qaida over the last year, U.S. officials and congressional sources said. The key backers of Al Qaida are said to be 12 prominent Saudi businessmen — all of whom have extensive business and personal connections with the royal family. These include ties to such ministers as Saudi Defense Minister Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Interior Minister Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz and Riyad Governor Prince Salman. Comment: And of course, this is all going to lead back to the Bush Gang who are great friends of the Saudis... talk about Spy vs. Spy!

Pentagon Wants $10 Billion a Year for Antiterror Fund - The Defense Department is seeking an extra $10 billion a year for the next five years, beyond the growth in its regular budget, to carry out its campaign against terrorism, senior Pentagon and other administration officials said today. - Both Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill proved unwilling this year to create a $10 billion fund for the Pentagon to spend with little Congressional oversight. But with President Bush now in a more commanding position politically after the Republican victories in the midterm elections, administration officials seem increasingly confident not only of getting the money from Congress, but also of getting it on their terms: in a separate fund. The extra $10 billion a year could be used for military actions, for other emerging counterterrorism operations around the world and for the costs of added protection for military bases in the United States and overseas. None of it would go to the new Department of Homeland Security, or for increases requested by other departments and agencies, like the C.I.A. and the F.B.I., for their roles in counterterrorism.

Al Gore sez: "The media is kind of weird these days on politics, and there are some major institutional voices that are, truthfully speaking, part and parcel of the Republican Party. ...some of them are financed by wealthy ultra-conservative billionaires who make political deals with Republican administrations and the rest of the media …. Most of the media [has] been slow to recognize the pervasive impact of this fifth column in their ranks—that is, day after day, injecting the daily Republican talking points into the definition of what’s objective as stated by the news media as a whole." Comment: Oh? Really? Ya think? DUUUUUH!

Palestinians vow to take revenge for deaths of militia leaders - The militia had decided in September to halt attacks in Israel proper, targeting instead Israeli soldiers and settlers in the West Bank and Gaza. - Al Aqsa militiamen announced over loudspeakers [at the funeral of the militia leaders] that they would not longer respect [this] agreement not to carry out shooting and bombing attacks in Israel. The group said it would immediately resume such attacks...

The president of the airlines' trade association said today that unless the industry's problems are fixed soon, it might be necessary to nationalize the airlines. - She said the government "must reject the false premise that the airlines and their customers can or should bear this national defense burden."

Bush Names Kissinger to Head 9/11 Probe - "This commission will help me and future presidents to understand the methods of America's enemies and the nature of the threats we face," Bush said at a White House signing ceremony with lawmakers, survivors and victims' families. "This investigation should carefully examine all the evidence and follow all the facts wherever they lead," he said. "We must uncover every detail and learn every lesson of September the 11th." "Dr. Kissinger will bring broad experience, clear thinking and careful judgment to this important task," Bush said at a signing ceremony in the Roosevelt Room of the White House. "Mr. Secretary, thank you for returning to the service of your nation." Kissinger, speaking in the White House driveway, pledged to "go where the facts lead us." "We are under no restrictions, and we will accept no restrictions," Kissinger said. Comment: Talk about asking the Fox to guard the henhouse!

Guess who wants to ban the journalists???? - When the two leaders of the inspection program — Hans Blix and Mohamed ElBaradei — met with Iraqi officials last week, they said they did not want journalists tagging along — especially at suspected weapons sites. "We don't want journalists to be with us in the facilities," said Melissa Fleming, spokeswoman of the International Atomic Energy Agency. "We believe we can't carry out our professional job" with journalists in tow. But Iraq, which maintains one of the most restrictive press policies in the Mideast, championed free access for journalists — at least as far as covering the inspections is concerned. Iraqi officials say they want maximum media coverage to prove to the world that they do not have weapons of mass destruction, despite Washington's claims to the contrary. "We will allow everybody to follow in order that international public opinion be acquainted with what is going on in our country and from our point of view, the press will be granted full access to every single site," an Iraqi official said on condition of anonymity. "Taking into consideration the transparency of our position, we are not hiding anything. Every journalist is allowed." - The U.N. team clearly is reluctant to have journalists reporting what the inspectors have or have not found...

November 26, 2002 - Bush Asks Court To Seal MMR Vaccine Records - Attorneys for the Bush Administration asked a federal court on Monday to order that documents on hundreds of cases of autism allegedly caused by childhood vaccines be kept from the public. Department of Justice lawyers asked a special master in the US Court of Federal Claims to seal the documents, arguing that allowing their automatic disclosure would take away the right of federal agencies to decide when and how the material should be released. Attorneys for the families of hundreds of autistic children charged that the government was trying to keep the information out of civil courts, where juries might be convinced to award large judgments against vaccine manufacturers. The court is currently hearing approximately 1,000 claims brought by the families of autistic children. The suits charge that the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, which until recently included a mercury-containing preservative known as thimerosal, can cause neurological damage leading to autism. - Kim accused the government of trying to lower "a shroud of secrecy over these documents" in order to protect vaccine manufacturers, who he said were "the only entities" that would benefit if the documents are sealed.

Horowitz - Vaccine Injury, Homeland Security And Culpability - If you are still processing shock in the wake of the virtually unanimous passage of the Bush administration's Homeland Security Bill with its "license to kill" from vaccine injuries without liabilities, you have likely yourself to blame most. -

So you took your children to "medical deities" for "routine childhood immunizations" because "they said it was mandatory," and you watched your children get sick, if not crippled. Then as you were wondering why you were so trusting, you sought other doctors to prescribe other drugs, made by the subsidiaries of the vaccine manufacturers. Soon after your child became ill you reached out to leaders in the "vaccine risk awareness" movement to report your grief and horror. They touched your hand, or told you they empathized. They asked that you send them money. Then they professed that most vaccines were "pretty safe." "Only some vaccines have problems that require our ongoing vigilance," they assured. -

Then I told you what the Bible says about half truths-"They are complete lies," I warned. "Unless you are willing to see and expose the 'big picture,' the whole truth, including the links between the vaccine makers and the Nazis of I.G. Farben and holocaust fame, you're misleading people, and your karma will be judged. 'As you sow, so shall you reap.'" In response you thought, There he goes again with his spiritual speak. Incredulously you asked, "You can't possibly believe that all vaccines are bad, do you? They eradicated illnesses didn't they?" -

You heard me tell of my family's miraculous escape from the Nazis. "They lined millions of 'sheeple' up and marched them, with few protesting, to their early demise in the concentration camp gas chambers for allegedly 'showers.' Showers fo what? 'Public health' and 'disinfection,'" I recalled and continued. "Today's physicians' offices, hospitals, and public health units are much like the 'concentration camps' of yesteryear, and today's vaccines are the 'gas.' Don't you get the similarity?" You said it frightened you, and you preferred not to think about it again. -

Now congress has passed the Homeland Security Bill, and you remain numbed by the weight of your personal contribution to this premeditated and exposed conspiratorial outcome. Is there any comfort now in your tormented reflection on how you once called me a "foolish conspiracy theorist?" You have now no one more than yourself to blame.

French police Tuesday arrested five people suspected of links to a network of Islamic militants, the latest in a wave of detentions targeting Muslim radicals. The five were arrested in dawn raids near Paris as part of an investigation into a British man's attempt last year to blow up a transatlantic flight with explosives hidden in his shoes. - French officials believe the country is high on the list of potential targets for a terror attack. "France is one of the countries most at threat, because it's a Western country which has been waging a battle against terrorism for years," Defense Minister Michele Alliot-Marie told the daily Le Figaro in an interview published Tuesday.

Falwell To Jesus: Get A Hummer - Not being a religious person, I don't spend much time thinking about excommunication. But I do believe now is the moment to initiate excommunication proceedings against Jerry Falwell, not to drive him out of the Baptist church (any church that will have him for a leader deserves him), but to expel him from public discourse. -

Since 9/11, Falwell, the former head of the so-called Moral Majority, has been on a hellfire of a tear. After those awful attacks, he appeared on Pat Robertson's television show and blamed abortion-rights advocates, feminists, pagans, gay and lesbians, and the ACLU for pissing off God to such an extent that She/He/It permitted the strikes to occur. -

But Falwell managed to slither back. By the end of the year, he was a guest once again on O'Reilly's show. More recently, in June, he made news on CNN defending a Baptist leader who had decried Mohammed as "a demon-possessed pedophile" and who had commented, "Allah is not Jehovah; Jehovah is not going to turn you into a terrorist that will bomb people." And in recent weeks, he has continued his anti-Islam rant and been invited to do so by the media. In October, he was interviewed by 60 Minutes and maintained "Mohammed was a terrorist." -

I am not advocating censoring wrongheaded or dangerous opinion-mongering. But a recent Falwell appearance on CNN provided the grounds for certifying him a nut-case not worthy of a microphone. What had brought Falwell in front of the camera was a creative and edgy television ad campaign mounted by the Evangelical Environmental Network. The spot's text reads: "God saw that [the Earth] was good, and Jesus says, love thy neighbor as thyself. Yet too many of the cars, trucks and SUVs that are made, that we choose to drive, are polluting our air, increasing global warming, changing the weather, and endangering our health. Especially the health of our children. So if we love our neighbor, and we cherish God's creation, maybe we should ask, what would Jesus drive?" -

Falwell went further. He claimed, "global warming is a myth." Sider tried to rebut him, saying, "Our best scientists tell us that, in fact, global warming..." But Falwell interrupted to counter, "No our best scientists don't tell us." He explained: "It was global cooling 30 years ago...and it's global warming now. And neither of us will be here 100 years from now to know what it is. But I can tell you, our grandchildren will laugh at those who predicted global warming. We'll be cooler by then, if the lord hasn't returned....The fact is that there is no global warming." - Falwell was lying... More

The Arab-Israeli citizen accused of attempting to hijack an aircraft and fly it into a building said yesterday he never tried to seize the controls. Tawfiq Fukrasaid he only "confessed" when Turkish police threatened to castrate him. - Mr Fukra told Ha'aretz he was angry because, as an Arab, he had to endure extra security checks at Tel Aviv airport. "I was nervous on the flight," he said. "It was the first time I ever flew. I got up before landing and the stewardess yelled at me. I shouted back and the security guards pounced on me and I fell to the ground. I don't have any more memory of what happened."

Haemorrhagic Fever Outbreak in Province Orientale - The government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has issued an alert regarding an outbreak of haemorrhagic fever that has so far killed eight people in Orientale Province, a region plagued by fighting among various rebel groups and ethnic factions.

Risk of internet collapse rising - Simulated attacks on key internet hubs have shown how vulnerable the worldwide network is to disruption by disaster or terrorist action. If an attack or disaster destroyed the major nodes of the internet, the network itself could begin to unravel, warn the scientists who carried out the simulations. The virtual attacks showed that the net would keep going in major cities, but outlying areas and smaller towns would gradually be cut off. Comment: You can be that if the internet collapses, it will be because the Bush Reich orders it to be done to shut down access to the TRUTH.

Flu Outbreak Kills Hundreds in Congo - The World Health Organization confirmed an outbreak of flu in rebel-controlled northern Congo, and the country's health minister said Tuesday more than 500 people have died. It was not immediately clear what strain of flu was involved. Symptoms included fever, coughing, headaches and shivering.

Q: (L) Are there going to be any other kinds of violence, such as bombs or airplanes being flown into buildings, or release of anthrax, or small pox, or any other kind of chemical or germ warfare activities. Any of those?
A: Yes. ... Fair chance of germ disbursement.
Q: (L) What kind of germ?
A: Influenza.
Q: (L) Do you mean a deadly form of flu?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) But nothing like anthrax or small pox or any of those really sick ones? Is that it?
A: No. Keep looking and listening.

Of course we realize that the major danger with the "other options" consists in the inoculations. While the risk of the vaccine is high enough, we believe that there is a more sinister motive behind the Bush plan for mass smallpox vaccinations:

05-04-02
Q: [Is it possible that childhood] inoculations ...may directly affect the brains of infants and turn them into psychopaths? Is that a third area that needs to be pursued in our quest of learning about psychopaths?
A: Such inoculations are designed to make the nervous system more "appropriately tuned" to 4D STS "downloads" and manipulation.

AIDS pandemic threatens world stability - The AIDS pandemic, which now claims some 42 million victims, is one of the greatest threats to world stability, Peter Piot, the head of the United Nations agency devoted to the ailment said. - Five million people will have become infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) this year alone at a rate of 14,000 a day, according to the latest research.

STONEHENGE SHOCKER - this is very "entertaining" and just for fun.

President Bush is expected to announce a plan in the next few weeks to protect 500,000 health workers by vaccinating them against smallpox, an administration source said. Under the White House plan, that program will be followed by a second wave of vaccinations for 7 million to 10 million more health workers, firefighters, police and first responders. The vaccine also would be made available to the public, through voluntary participation in clinical trials, but the government would not recommend that anyone besides health workers and first responders take the vaccine, the official said. Ever since the September 11, 2001, terror attacks, President Bush has been weighing the potentially devastating effects of a possible smallpox bioterror attack versus the sometimes lethal side effects of the vaccine. - The Department of Health and Human Services has asked all 50 states to submit a mass vaccination plan by December 1, to be used in case of an actual smallpox attack. - *The Vaccine does not contain the smallpox virus. * Vaccine is made from a virus called vaccinia.

Smallpox and Forced Vaccination: What Every American Needs to Know - Biological warfare is not a new phenomenon. History is full of examples of warring factions trying to weaken each other’s troops or civilian populations by making them sick. From the ancient Greeks and Romans, who polluted the water supplies of their enemies with dead animals, to warriors in medieval times who catapulted corpses of people infected with bubonic plague into the castles of their enemies, to European conquerors who came to the New World and used smallpox contaminated blankets to kill native Indians with no natural immunity to smallpox, there is a long history of man using disease as a weapon. - Bottom Line: What You Need to Know About Smallpox Vaccine

* It spreads vaccinia virus from one person to another, which can kill or injure people
* It causes reactions in almost everyone who gets it (fever, spread of vaccine virus to other parts of body) and causes extremely severe reactions in 1 in 4,000 persons which can lead to death or injury;
* It was never tested in clinical trials before it was used on a mass basis and mandated;
* Drug companies making old and new smallpox vaccines want normal federal vaccine safety and efficacy standards to be suspended so the vaccines can be licensed quickly;
* Drug companies do not want to be held liable for any injuries and deaths caused by old and new smallpox vaccines. -

Bottom Line: What You Need To Know About Proposed Laws in Your State When federal and state public health officials convince your Governor to declare a “public health” emergency, they want to be able to use the “state militia” to:

* take control of all roads leading into and out of your cities and state;
* seize your house, car, telephones, computers, food, fuel, clothing, firearms and alcoholic beverages for their own use (and not be held liable if these actions result in the destruction of your personal property);
* arrest, imprison and forcibly examine, vaccinate and medicate you and your children without your consent (and not be held liable if these actions result in your death or injury). -

What YOU Can Do: The most important action you can take is to give this information to as many people as you can and let your individual voice be heard. Let people know where you stand. Contact your local newspaper, radio and television stations and give them a copy of this report. Talk to as many people as you can in your community, especially your community leaders.

A former chief of Saudi intelligence and brother of a Saudi princess Monday evening defended his sister against reports she may have been the source of funds that ended up in the hands of two of the September 11 hijackers.

States face the worst fiscal problems since World War II, the National Governors Association said today. - Raymond C. Scheppach, executive director of the governors association, said states were increasing tuition at public colleges and universities, cutting Medicaid eligibility and benefits, increasing taxes on individuals and corporations and laying off state employees. "You will see huge cuts in Medicaid" next year, beyond the cutbacks already enacted, Mr. Scheppach said. - The recession has reduced state revenues, especially personal income and capital gains taxes, Mr. Scheppach said, but the states' fiscal problems are also linked to long-term trends, like the increase in health costs and the growing importance of services in the economy. Relatively few of the newly elected governors have said precisely how they will deal with these fiscal problems. "Most of them don't understand how bad it is," Mr. Scheppach said.

Spend, spend, spend. Bush Plans New Agency to Dole Out Billions in Foreign Aid - forcing the world's poorest countries to compete against one another if they want a share, administration officials said on Monday. Comment: In other words, Bush is spending like a drunken sailor. He just doesn't seem to get it - the money to do all of these things has to come from somewhere. Governments don't just order money to be printed when they want more to spend. Or is that Bush's next plan? He is either a complete moron, or he is dumb like a fox, intentionally creating economic havoc. The ensuing chaos will allow the cementing of societal totalitarian control.

Bankruptcy Filings Climb 12 Percent - The American Bankruptcy Institute, a group of bankruptcy judges, lawyers and experts, said the filings surged 30 percent from the third quarter two years earlier. They reflected "the hangover of debt built up during the 1990s," said Samuel Gerdano, the institute's executive director. As is normally the case, most bankruptcy filings were by individuals: 391,873 in the July-September quarter and 1,508,578 in the 12-month period.

East Texas schools close as illness spreads - High student absence rates associated with a flu-like illness spreading in East Texas have prompted several small districts to shut down. The trend has apparently reached Tyler, closing one private school early for the Thanksgiving holidays. St. Gregory Catholic Elementary School on Monday reported 28 percent, or 101 students, absent out of 359 students, said Principal Kathy Harry. Gilmer Independent School District, located about 30 miles northeast of Tyler, closed Monday after 601 of its students had been sent home by the end of the school day with flulike symptoms.

Robertson pleads for scrutiny of Koran - Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson said yesterday the news media and political leaders have failed to educate Americans about violence in the Koran and in Islamic history and wishes President Bush had never said that "Islam is a religion of peace." - The public would be better served, Mr. Robertson said, if the media would investigate the content of the Koran and what he says are many passages that incite Muslims to kill nonbelievers. But reporting on that, he said, "is not politically correct." -

Comment: in the summer of 2001, this website, Cassiopaea.org, where we publish most of our material, came under a serious attack by members of certain Jewish organizations. These individuals accused us of publishing "anti-Semitic" material. They wrote: "We believe your site is anti semetic,(sic) and either paid for by Nazi's or someone who HATES JEWS. We want you to remove your lies about our religion."

The attack became rather vicious and included public defamation, and these representatives of organizations that claim to "fight anti-semitism" and hate, etc - not only lowered themselves to publicly libeling us and our work, writing such things as ""Ark is giving Jewish references, yet he's an anti-semite and running a mailing list, brainwashing other Jews against our religion with lies." - but also went to the trouble of researching and publishing our home address on the internet, on Jewish discussion boards, where they "invited" anyone who might live in our area go and "take care" of us in some unspecified manner.

Doing a little research of my own, we discovered that the center of activity was an egroup called "The Anti-missionary List," which is "devoted to helping everyone fight and respond to the lies of Christianity." On the site, the stated philosophy is, verbatim:

"On this list you can learn how and why the New Testament is nothing more than a compilation of pre-existing Pagan Doctrines stolen from Mithraic worship, Zoroaster, and others. You will learn Christian Missionary tactics and brain-washing technques, (sic) from people who have researched this all their lives, former Christians, etc.

"Christianity is the religion mentioned in Isaiah that would try and destroy the keeping of Torah and true worship."

I joined this group and a few others and read their discussions hoping to come to some understanding about what made them tick.

Did you ever overhear something that you were not intended to hear - something very hurtful - spoken by someone who pretended to be a friend, and only by hearing words from their own mouth do you realize that they could not possibly be your friend? If so, you probably remember the sensation of coldness that crept over your skin, the sudden pounding of your heart so that you thought it might explode, and the feeling that a big, cold stone had suddenly formed in the pit of your stomach.

That was what happened to me as I read the exchanges on these Jewish discussion groups. I was literally speechless. A discussion group that claimed to be composed of individuals involved in "educational" activities - aish, they called it - and dedicated to enlightening non-Jews about Jews, so as to end the "hate and prejudice," was the most hate-filled, prejudicial, and truly disgusting group interaction I have ever witnessed among human beings. The chief theme that emerged from these discussions was that the Jews involved, sincerely and deeply believe that they are literally the ONLY "Chosen" people on the planet, and that this chosenness is absolutely Divine and without question, and anybody who is NOT a Jew is literally less than human. Every other religion is nothing but lies, and only Jews can ever, under any and all circumstances, be righteous.

I had always thought that people who claimed that Jews have such an attitude were just anti-Semitic. I never believed it. Anybody who said anything bad about Jews was just lying as far as I was concerned. I was finding it hard to believe it even as I witnessed it in these discussions.

Of course, we can consider the argument that the best and worst of humanity exist in any group of people, religious, ethnic, or otherwise. But if that is the case, just as it is with any other group, the bad apples can spoil it for the rest of them. The same is true about Islam and Christianity. After all, the God of the Jews has told them to destroy all the non-believers. So the very Bible that Pat Roberston is supporting (and he is very supportive of Jews and their right to dispossess the Palestinians of their homes), is actually one of the most violent and bloody documents in existence. The public would most definitely be better served, if the media would investigate the content of the Bible and the beliefs and behavior of Jews and Christians. We see literal evidence every day that the Torah incites Jews and Christians to kill nonbelievers. But reporting on that "is not politically correct." - See our series: Who Wrote the Bible for a whole different view of Monotheism in ANY form.

Nigerian state slaps "death sentence" on Miss World reporter The government of a mainly Muslim state in northern Nigeria called for believers to kill the author of an article on the Miss World pageant which was seen as insulting to the Prophet Mohammed. - Zamfara State's information commissioner, Umar Dangaladima, told AFP that the state government endorsed a "fatwa" -- an Islamic religious decree -- calling for the death of fashion writer Isioma Daniel, whose article triggered bloody riots. - More than 220 people died in rioting last week in the northern city of Kaduna, which has been blamed on the report, and the Miss World pageant has been forced to quit Nigeria.

The United States has offered Israel a new generation of Patriot missiles that could intercept missiles fired from Iraq, public television reported here. - Quoting high-ranking officials, however, the television said Israel would decline the offer on the grounds that it already had Hetz (arrow) anti-missile missiles developed in cooperation with the United States to face up to a possible Iraqi attack. Furthermore, Israeli leaders fear that the presence of US troops in Israel would provide a pretext for Iraqi President Saddam Hussein to attack. - On Monday a German defence ministry spokesman said Israel had asked Germany for Patriot missiles to be used in case of Iraqi attacks during any US military intervention in Iraq. "It is true that Israel has asked Germany to supply it with Patriot anti-missile missiles," the spokesman said in a statement, confirming information to appear in Tuesday's edition of Die Welt newspaper.

This is the campaign ad Florida voters never saw: Gov. Jeb Bush, doubled over in apparent pain, unleashing a loud gagging sound as he pretends to choke. Seriously. The video exists, and it made its way into a rough Bush campaign spot that -- unfortunately for those of us who view political ads as the highest form of entertainment -- was never aired. The striking image of our state's highest elected official booming, ''Uuugggghhhhhh,'' and then following it up with an exasperated, ''It's like -- God,'' was nearly placed in an ad in the final weeks of the campaign to illustrate exactly how the governor really felt about his Democratic rival, Bill McBride.

Europe was hit with a wave of workers' protests as air traffic controllers froze travel in France, British teachers and municipal workers joined striking firefighters and more than 20,000 people marched in Rome to support metalworkers' demands. The skies over France, normally streaked with activity, were empty as the two unions representing air traffic controllers walked off the job, forcing the cancellation of nearly 90 percent of all flights in France. - British Prime Minister Tony Blair's government, meanwhile, struggled with the worst labor dispute in years as a firefighters' strike entered a fifth day and thousands of London's teachers and municipal workers nationwide went on strike. Italy, fresh from tough talks between three leading unions and the ailing industrial giant Fiat on a controversial restructuring plan, saw at least 20,000 people turn out in Rome to back Fiat Auto's metalworkers.

Reader sends in the following: Hello, in relation to the session of Sept. 14, 2002... (Q: (V) Okay. I'm a little curious, and I don't know if it's been asked before or not, what is China's role in regards to Iraq, is there any... A: Big question mark, eh?) ...I think this is particularly interesting: China denies selling radars to Iraq - China is denying claims it is involved in the transfer of radar systems from Ukraine to Iraq. A U.S. State Department report, which followed a visit to Ukraine by U.S. and British experts in October, said four Ukrainian radar systems were unaccounted for and may be in Beijing's possession. U.S. and British investigators have said there is a "credible possibility" that Ukraine sent sophisticated radar systems to Iraq through an intermediary. Ukraine says it sold the four systems to China, but refused investigators access to the contract.

Israeli troops have demolished the house of Muhammad Abu Huli, a suspected Hamas activist who Israel accuses of killing a soldier and attacking a Jewish settlement. Four Palestinians were injured -- one of them seriously -- in an exchange of fire during the operation Tuesday night, Palestinian security sources said. The Israel Defense Forces, which said the operation was part of "its ongoing activity against terrorism," said Israeli forces were attacked in the town and troops returned fire. Comment: Never mind that the Israelis are illegal occupiers of the land that belongs to the Palestinians. I guess that the Jews just needed "Lebensraum..." eh?
