September 25, 2002 - Zionism, Anti Semitism and American Democracy - Israel Shahak, a Professor Emeritus at Hebrew University, escaped from a Nazi concentration camp and later served in the Israeli army. He is an organic chemist who combines a research scientist's objectivity with a humanist's commitment to universal ideals. According to Shahak, Judaism is a xenophobic totalitarian belief system that has morphed into a fanatical Zionist ideology that now threatens the whole world.
The Talmud treats non-Jews as sub human and directs Jews to discriminate against them. For example, the concept of adultery "does not apply to intercourse between a Jewish man and a gentile woman; rather, the Talmud equates such intercourse to the sin of bestiality." (87) Robbery (with violence) is strictly forbidden if the victim is Jewish, but is permitted if the victim is Gentile, "when they are under our rule." "The whole [rabbinical] debate is concerned only with the relative powers of Jews and gentiles rather than with universal considerations of justice and humanity, " Shahak writes. "This may be why so few rabbis have protested over the robbery of Palestinian property in Israel."
Shahak disputes whether Judaism is in fact monotheistic: "In many if not most of the books of the Old Testament, the existence and powers of 'other Gods' are clearly acknowledged, but Yahweh (Jehovah) is the most powerful of his rivals, and forbids his people to worship them." The decay of monotheism came about through the spread of Jewish mysticism (the cabbala), which is now dominant and includes many prayers and actions designed to propitiate Satan.
According to Shahak, classical Judaism is not so much a religion as a tyrannical system of social control administered by rabbis. Ordinary Jews were forced to obey a labyrinth of capricious laws on pain of fines, beatings or even murder, administered by the non-Jewish aristocracy that would get a share of the fines. Dan Rather sez: US media cowed by Bush Propaganda - he admitted that he had shrunk from taking on the Bush administration over the war on terrorism. - "There was a time in South Africa that people would put flaming tyres around people's necks if they dissented. And in some ways the fear is that you will be necklaced here, you will have a flaming tyre of lack of patriotism put around your neck," he said. "Now it is that fear that keeps journalists from asking the toughest of the tough questions."
The White House was to blame for its failure to provide adequate information about the war, Rather said. "There has never been an American war, small or large, in which access has been so limited as this one. "Limiting access, limiting information to cover the backsides of those who are in charge of the war, is extremely dangerous and cannot and should not be accepted. And I am sorry to say that, up to and including the moment of this interview, that overwhelmingly it has been accepted by the American people. And the current administration revels in that, they relish that, and they take refuge in that."
NOT IN OUR NAME - Readers of The New York Times woke up Thursday morning to find a full-page ad featuring a virtual Who's Who of artists, activists and academics protesting post-9/11 policies of President Bush. Under the headline: "Not in Our Name," more than 500 people put their own name forward to object to U.S. foreign and domestic policies "which pose grave dangers to the people of the world," and urged others to protest as well.
More than 4,000 signed this declaration for independents. (The complete list is available on www.nion.us.) Since the ad - which cost $38,000 - appeared, more than 1,500 have signed on.
"People have been longing for this," says Clark Kissinger, a spokesman for the group that created the statement. "Everybody has been waiting for someone to stand up and say the emperor has no clothes, and that's what you have here. It's a statement that basically repudiates the whole direction of things. This is not about terrorism or protecting the American people. It's about American empire-building."

US artists damn 'war without limit' - A group of leading American writers, actors and academics have signed a statement strongly criticising their government's policies since September 11. It is an indication of a growing feeling that the administration is promoting its own agenda on the back of the attacks. They include the musicians Laurie Anderson and Mos Def, the actors Ossie Davis and Ed Asner, the writers Alice Walker, Russell Banks, Barbara Kingsolver and Grace Paley, and the playwrights Eve Ensler and Tony Kushner. Oliver Stone, Martin Luther King III, Gloria Steinem, Noam Chomsky, Edward Said and Rabbi Michael Lerner have added their names, making this the widest ranging group of opponents of government policy since September 11.
A Statement of Conscience -Let it not be said that people in the United States did nothing when their government declared a war without limit and instituted stark new measures of repression.
The signers of this statement call on the people of the U.S. to resist the policies and overall political direction that have emerged since September 11, 2001, and which pose grave dangers to the people of the world.
We believe that peoples and nations have the right to determine their own destiny, free from military coercion by great powers. We believe that all persons detained or prosecuted by the United States government should have the same rights of due process. We believe that questioning, criticism, and dissent must be valued and protected. We understand that such rights and values are always contested and must be fought for.
We believe that people of conscience must take responsibility for what their own governments do -- we must first of all oppose the injustice that is done in our own name. Thus we call on all Americans to RESIST the war and repression that has been loosed on the world by the Bush administration. It is unjust, immoral, and illegitimate. We choose to make common cause with the people of the world.
We too watched with shock the horrific events of September 11, 2001. We too mourned the thousands of innocent dead and shook our heads at the terrible scenes of carnage -- even as we recalled similar scenes in Baghdad, Panama City, and, a generation ago, Vietnam. We too joined the anguished questioning of millions of Americans who asked why such a thing could happen.
But the mourning had barely begun, when the highest leaders of the land unleashed a spirit of revenge. They put out a simplistic script of “good vs. evil” that was taken up by a pliant and intimidated media. They told us that asking why these terrible events had happened verged on treason. There was to be no debate. There were by definition no valid political or moral questions. The only possible answer was to be war abroad and repression at home.
I n our name, the Bush administration, with near unanimity from Congress, not only attacked Afghanistan but arrogated to itself and its allies the right to rain down military force anywhere and anytime. The brutal repercussions have been felt from the Philippines to Palestine, where Israeli tanks and bulldozers have left a terrible trail of death and destruction. The government now openly prepares to wage all-out war on Iraq -- a country which has no connection to the horror of September 11. What kind of world will this become if the U.S. government has a blank check to drop commandos, assassins, and bombs wherever it wants?
In our name, within the U.S., the government has created two classes of people: those to whom the basic rights of the U.S. legal system are at least promised, and those who now seem to have no rights at all. The government rounded up over 1,000 immigrants and detained them in secret and indefinitely. Hundreds have been deported and hundreds of others still languish today in prison. This smacks of the infamous concentration camps for Japanese-Americans in World War 2. For the first time in decades, immigration procedures single out certain nationalities for unequal treatment.
In our name, the government has brought down a pall of repression over society. The President’s spokesperson warns people to “watch what they say.” Dissident artists, intellectuals, and professors find their views distorted, attacked, and suppressed. The so-called Patriot Act -- along with a host of similar measures on the state level -- gives police sweeping new powers of search and seizure, supervised if at all by secret proceedings before secret courts.
In our name, the executive has steadily usurped the roles and functions of the other branches of government. Military tribunals with lax rules of evidence and no right to appeal to the regular courts are put in place by executive order. Groups are declared “terrorist” at the stroke of a presidential pen.
We must take the highest officers of the land seriously when they talk of a war that will last a generation and when they speak of a new domestic order. We are confronting a new openly imperial policy towards the world and a domestic policy that manufactures and manipulates fear to curtail rights.
There is a deadly trajectory to the events of the past months that must be seen for what it is and resisted. Too many times in history people have waited until it was too late to resist.
P resident Bush has declared: “you’re either with us or against us.” Here is our answer: We refuse to allow you to speak for all the American people. We will not give up our right to question. We will not hand over our consciences in return for a hollow promise of safety. We say NOT IN OUR NAME. We refuse to be party to these wars and we repudiate any inference that they are being waged in our name or for our welfare. We extend a hand to those around the world suffering from these policies; we will show our solidarity in word and deed.
We who sign this statement call on all Americans to join together to rise to this challenge. We applaud and support the questioning and protest now going on, even as we recognize the need for much, much more to actually stop this juggernaut. We draw inspiration from the Israeli reservists who, at great personal risk, declare “there IS a limit” and refuse to serve in the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza.
We also draw on the many examples of resistance and conscience from the past of the United States: from those who fought slavery with rebellions and the underground railroad, to those who defied the Vietnam war by refusing orders, resisting the draft, and standing in solidarity with resisters.
Let us not allow the watching world today to despair of our silence and our failure to act. Instead, let the world hear our pledge: we will resist the machinery of war and repression and rally others to do everything possible to stop it.
A paper about the genetic origins of Palestinians has found itself at the centre of a political storm. In a highly unusual move, the journal Human Immunology has deleted the paper from its September issue after receiving a wealth of complaints over what some saw as inappropriate political comments about the IsraeliPalestinian conflict. The paper examines genetic variability in the HLA complex ‹ a highly diverse complex of immune-system genes ‹ in a sample of Palestinians (A. Arnaiz-Villena et al. Hum. Immunol. 62, 889900; 2001). But controversially, it also includes a historical introduction calling Jews living in the Gaza strip "colonists" and describing some Palestinians as living in concentration camps. The paper's publication sparked a "cascade" of angry letters complaining that such comments had no place in a scientific journal, says the journal's editor-in-chief, Nicole Suciu-Foca of Columbia University in New York. Russia today appeared unconvinced of the necessity for an attack on Iraq, after being presented with a copy of the prime minister's dossier of evidence on the threat posed by the country. - Foreign ministers from 19 Nato countries were handed a copy of Tony Blair's dossier during a two-day meeting in Poland.
Tony Blair's loyalty to a frighteningly unclear United States policy was causing him to lose too much domestic political support to ignore. - Mr Blair has acknowledged the intellectual and political need to make a more grown-up case [than George Bush has made]. - There was little of the boasting about regime change or pre-emptive action that so disfigures US debate about these issues - as Al Gore so rightly pointed out on Monday. It all added up to a welcome embrace of a more careful and internationalist approach. Comment: I think that we can safely say that Georgie Porgie has made a laughingstock of himself and his whole administration. And, by default, all those Americans who have supported him.
Interesting comment by Tony Blair in his speech about Saddam Hussein - "It is an 11-year history. There is one common consistent theme, however: the total determination of Saddam to maintain the programme; to risk war, international ostracism, sanctions, the isolation of the Iraqi economy, in order to keep it." He seems to be giving away the game and describing the Bush agenda/conspiracy to a "T." After all, it is Bush who is risking war, international ostracism, sanctions, and isolation in order to keep to the 9-11 agenda....
Blair goes on to say about Saddam: "People say: but why Saddam? Two things about Saddam stand out. He has used these weapons, thousands dying in chemical weapons attacks in Iraq itself. He used them in the Iran-Iraq war, started by him, in which one million people died. And his is a regime with no moderate elements to appeal to." I believe it has already been proven that it is a lie that Saddam used chemical weapons on Iraq itself. I also believe that it was not Saddam who started the Iran/Iraq war, but rather the United States. And it is certainly the United States "with no moderate elements to appeal to." Funny how psychopaths project onto their targets exactly what they are themselves, and what they intend to do. Which leads us, of course, to another of Blair's remarks which probably reflects what Bush and Blair are planning themselves: "his efforts will intensify, his confidence grow and at some point, in a future not too distant, the threat will turn into reality. The threat therefore is not imagined." Hmmmm.... are they planning to use chemical weapons on us more than the chemicals the MIC was dropping all over the US for the past 5 years or more as Chemtrails??? I guess if we don't let them have their way, they'll get mad and dump smallpox and influenza, and God knows what else all over us. Phase III was focused on changes to the national security apparatus, its structures and process, with an aim toward redesigning it as necessary to succeed in the security environment that lies ahead."
Israeli Soldier killed boy in cold blood, say British volunteers. A 13-year-old Palestinian boy was deliberately shot dead by an Israeli soldier without any provocation, say two British human rights volunteers who witnessed the incident. - "An armoured personnel carrier came and stopped on the left of the street. A soldier popped up from inside. I saw him with his rifle and he aimed at some kids on the street. There was no stone-throwing or shooting going on at the time." "He had nothing in his hands and even if he'd had a stone he could not have thrown it effectively from that distance. As far as I'm concerned, these people are child-killers..."
An Israeli spokesman said that the army was trying to establish what happened: "The first assessment was that an army patrol saw a child lighting a firebomb which then set him on fire. But until we can have better information I cannot comment." Comment: LIAR.
The pro-Israel lobby intimidates journalists to ensure that most coverage remains biased in its favour. - Palestine is Still the Issue was aired on British television last week. Professor Ilan Pappé, the distinguished Israeli historian, wrote to Carlton Television that "the film is faultless in its historical description and poignant in its message". However, Michael Green, chairman of Carlton, abused the program in the Jewish Chronicle, calling the film "inaccurate", "historically incorrect" and "a tragedy for Israel". This was followed by an unprecedented rebuke of its chairman by Carlton's Factual Department, which stood by the film's accuracy.
What did the film portray?
The film told a basic truth that is routinely relegated, even suppressed - that a historic injustice has been done to the Palestinian people, and until Israel's illegal and brutal occupation ends, there will be no peace for anyone, Israelis included.
Most of the film allowed people to tell their eyewitness stories, both Palestinians and Israelis. What was unusual was that it disclosed in detail the daily humiliation and cultural denigration of the Palestinians, including a sequence showing excrement smeared by Israeli soldiers in a room of children's paintings. The film was accurate, restrained and fair; the longest interview was with an Israeli government spokesman. Every word and frame was subjected to a legal examination for accuracy and to ensure it complied with the fairness regulations in the Broadcasting Act.
John Pilger, the film's maker tells us: My film was pro-Palestinian in as much as it was pro-justice. Most of those interviewed were patriotic Israelis, including the war veteran father of a teenage girl killed in a suicide bombing. He and others put the lie to the standard Zionist cry that any criticism of Israel is anti-semitic, a claim that insults all those Jewish people who reject the likes of Ariel Sharon acting in their name.
So what does "balance" mean? A film approved by the Israel lobby? This lobby is currently orchestrating an email campaign against my film; curiously, many of the emails are coming from America, where it has not been shown.
At the heart of this is a failure to acknowledge the overwhelming imbalance in the British media in favour of the Israeli point of view. ITV deserves great credit for funding and broadcasting my film, which sought to redress a little of this. The BBC would have never dared to incur the wrath of one of the most influential lobbies in this country, as Tim Llewellyn, the BBC's Middle East correspondent for many years, says in a letter in today's Guardian. He accuses the BBC of "continuing to duck" its public service duty to explain "the true nature of the disaster [of the occupation] and Israel's overwhelming responsibility for it".
This general bias is verified by a remarkable study of the television coverage of the Middle East, conducted last May by the Glasgow University Media Group. The conclusions ought to shame broadcasters. The research shows that the public's lack of understanding of the conflicts and its origins is actually compounded by the "coverage". Viewers are rarely told that the Palestinians are victims of an illegal military occupation. The term "occupied territories" is rarely explained. Only 9% of young people interviewed know that the Israelis are both the occupiers and the illegal "settlers".
The selective use of language is striking, says the study. Words such as "murder", "atrocity" and "terrorism" are used almost exclusively in relation to Israeli deaths. The extent to which broadcasters assume the Israeli perspective, says Professor Greg Philo, "can be seen if the statements are reversed ... We did not find any [news] reports stating that 'The Palestinian attacks were in retaliation for the murder of those resisting the illegal Israeli occupation.'"
For years, journalists have complained about Zionist hate mail and the pressure of the "regular call from the Israeli embassy" to current affairs editors. This can take a subtle form: pressure is applied to correspondents in Jerusalem, who then shape their reports accordingly in the interests of what they tell themselves is "balance", but is, in effect, censorship by omission. The system gets the Israelis off their backs and "makes life bearable".
Comment: DO keep in mind that the entire basis of the existence of the Israeli state is because they claim that THEIR God gave it to them over 2000 years ago. For most of the past 2,000 years, there hasn't even been an "Israel." So, if they have the right to move to Palestine from everywhere else, and drive out people who have lived there for the past 2,000 years, then the Native Americans most definitely have the complete right to drive out "Americans" and the Welsh have the right to drive out the British, and the Natives of Mexico have the right to drive out the Spanish, on and on...
Stephen Pollard tells us that Pilger's film is a "massacre of the truth." He says: "The Yiddish word, chutzpah, is sometimes defined as the boy who kills his parents and then pleads for mercy on the grounds that he is an orphan." Unfortunately, he fails to realize that this precisely describes the entire Zionist Agenda. Those who have been reading such things as IBM and the Holocaust or The Transfer Agreement, have a sneaking suspicion that Zionism is designed to destroy the Jews completely and effectively. Zionists are the Jews worst enemies. Keep in mind that, from our perspective, the Zionists behind Zionism aren't even Jews. That's what makes the whole thing so insidious.

Israel kills nine in Gaza, brushes aside UN call to end Arafat siege. Six of the Palestinians killed when 80 armoured vehicles backed by helicopters stormed the eastern fringes of Gaza City were civilians. In New York, Israel's ally the United States abstained in the 14-0 vote for the European-drafted UN resolution condemning the destruction and siege of the veteran leader's West Bank compound. The resolution, welcomed by the Palestinians, pointed the finger at both sides in demanding "the complete cessation of all acts of violence, including all acts of terror, provocation, incitement and destruction." It was passed as Israeli troops launched one of their biggest incursions yet in the hunt for suspected militants in the Gaza Strip, drawing fresh Palestinian accusations of "war crimes" and predictions of a full-scale reoccupation. Israel dismissed what was seen as a rare rebuke by its US ally in only abstaining on the UN Security Council resolution calling for an end to the Ramallah siege imposed Thursday, rather than vetoing it. Comment: Well, why doesn't Bush demand a "Regime Change" in Israel? What is sauce for the goose is sauce for gander. After all, Israel has NUKES!!!
Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres, in remarks published on Tuesday, accused Lebanon's Hizbollah guerrilla group of killing three Israeli soldiers captured nearly two years ago. There had been no progress in efforts to release them "and Hizbollah has killed the three Israeli prisoners without announcing it," Peres told Kuwait's al-Rai al-Aam daily.
In consideration of all that is going on at the present time, the reader might wish to obtain and read a copy of Gideon’s Spies: The Secret History of the Mossad - Once you have read this, you realize that the "friendship" between the US and Britain and Israel is unquestionably a FACADE. Britain and America HATE Israel and are tired of being controlled by Israel. A review of this book by Richard H. Curtiss, who was/is the executive editor of the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs, details the following most interesting points:
Binyamin Netanyahu arrived in Washington, DC on Jan. 19, 1998 for what was expected to be a showdown with U.S. President Bill Clinton over the Israeli prime minister’s refusal to implement land-for-peace provisions of the Oslo accords. Netanyahu had vowed to “set Washington on fire.” The next morning, Jan. 20, The Washington Post reported that President Clinton was having a romance with a White House intern. Later in the day, when Netanyahu met with Clinton in the White House, nothing much happened. Nor did much happen Jan. 22, when Clinton met with Yasser Arafat.
One reason the U.S.-Israel confrontation was so abruptly aborted, is that a year earlier two technicians from Mossad, Israel’s external intelligence agency, had traveled from Tel Aviv to Washington to tap the telephone lines of Clinton’s then-23-year-old girlfriend, Monica Lewinsky. - That Clinton soon became aware of the Mossad tapes was made clear, Thomas points out, by Clinton’s March 1997 warning to Lewinsky that “he believed a foreign embassy was taping their conversations.”
In any case, there was no Clinton-Netanyahu confrontation in January 1998 because, only hours before Netanyahu arrived at the White House, Clinton’s dalliance was made public in The Washington Post; by writer Michael Isikoff of its sister publication, Newsweek ; and in an on-line gossip site called the Drudge Report. It has never been made clear how Mossad learned of the affair, who tipped off reporters Isikoff and, later, Matt Drudge, or why everyone decided to go public with the revelation that America’s president had a mistress not much older than his daughter just as Netanyahu arrived to “set Washington on fire.”
Mossad’s Clinton tapes also directly affected another top-priority FBI investigation that may have roots going all the way back to the administration of President Ronald Reagan, when U.S. Naval counterintelligence specialist Jonathan Jay Pollard was given a life sentence for stealing thousands of pages of classified documents on behalf of Israel. The stolen material relating to codes, satellite surveillance, and intelligence sources and methods was so highly classified that the U.S. government declined to describe it even to the sentencing judge.
Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir passed some of Pollard’s stolen material pertaining to U.S. intelligence-gathering resources and capabilities to the former Soviet Union “as a gesture of goodwill.” Although Thomas doesn’t say it, the Soviets reciprocated by allowing tens of thousands of Soviet Jews to emigrate to Israel. Thomas reports also that Shamir also was able to turn over enough of the Pollard material to the former apartheid government of South Africa to enable it to cripple U.S. intelligence gathering in Africa and to hide joint Israeli-South African nuclear weapons development from U.S. detection.
Interestingly, U.S. investigators concluded that Pollard was able to gather such sensitive material because someone in a higher position in the U.S. government described to Pollard’s Israeli handlers the documents he should steal. Also, according to Thomas, Pollard’s Israeli handlers were able to give him the codes, some of them changed every few days, which were designed to make such sensitive material inaccessible to middle-level civil servants like Pollard.
The ongoing FBI search for an Israeli spy at the very top level of the U.S. government received a name during Clinton’s first term. On Feb. 16, 1997, a U.S. government agency intercepted a telephone call from a Mossad agent named Dov in Israel’s Washington, DC embassy to his Mossad superior in Tel Aviv. “That’s not what we use Mega for,” the official in Tel Aviv responded, thus setting off a renewed top-priority search by the FBI for a high-level Israeli spy code-named “Mega.” Meanwhile, according to Thomas’s book, Mossad desperately planted “spin” stories in the U.S. media claiming that “Mega” was just Israeli government jargon for the CIA and its program of overt cooperation with Mossad. Ignoring the spin, the FBI had narrowed the search to the upper echelon of the National Security Council, which includes National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, the secretaries of state and defense, and the employees who deal with foreign policy and military matters in the Clinton White House, or to someone who has access to all NSC correspondence when, according to Thomas, the FBI was ordered to downgrade its investigation.
Downgrading the FBI search for “Mega,” just when the circle of suspects had been narrowed down, was linked to Clinton succumbing to Israeli blackmail based on the Mossad’s tapes of his telephone conversations with Monica.
Czech-born British publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell, was murdered by a two-man Mossad assassination squad who, after Maxwell was lured to the Canary Islands, slipped aboard his yacht, killed him and pushed his body overboard. Kennedy’s Middle East policy with a $500,000 campaign contribution and then threatened to withhold support for a re-election campaign if Kennedy insisted on an inspection of Israel’s nuclear weapons plant at Dimona; the failed attempt to assassinate Jordanian Hamas leader Khaled Meshal in Amman in 1997; the Israeli role in instigating and then keeping alive the Israeli sale of American arms to Iran in exchange for the release of American hostages which eventually became the Irangate scandal, for which President Reagan was nearly impeached; the extremes to which hatred of the U.S. and Britain and grudging admiration for Nazi Germany drove Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir; Israel’s role in the murky Inslaw case involving the theft of U.S. computer software which enables Israel to tap into law enforcement data banks all over the world; the concoction of a false plot which seemed to implicate Syria in a scheme to blow up an El Al commercial flight originating in Britain in 1986; the murder of Ali Hassan Salameh, who helped plan the seizure of Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympic games in 1972, but who also was the principal American source of intelligence about Palestinian resistance groups; a murky account of unsolved mysteries surrounding the explosion of PanAm Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland; the Mossad assassination of Canadian-American weapons developer Gerald Bull in Brussels in 1990; and myriad references to Mossad involvement in far more murders in the Middle East and Europe than Israel has ever admitted.

The new " dossier on Iraq" turns out to be just more of the same claims with no proof. This whole thing has been, from the beginning, little more than a "he said, she said" war of the pot calling the kettle black. It is juvenile and pathetic and we are ashamed to have a president who is so obviously an emotional infant and an intellectual cretin.
Iraq says: "Mr. Blair is acting as part of the Zionist (Israeli) campaign against Iraq and all his claims are baseless," Iraqi Culture Minister Hamed Yousif Hummadi was quoted by Reuters as saying. Well, we aren't crazy about Sodamn Insane either, but he's close in his assessment. "But as you go through it, it is hard to find anything new. It increasingly looks, under scrutiny, like a fight looking for a pretext. There is precious little in here that would make the case for a war."
Senior MP Tam Dalyell said: "I now understand very clearly why the Government wanted to produce this report at 8am on the morning of the debate, rather than subject it to the anvil of expert scrutiny by publishing it a week in advance. "It is so thin that it is obvious that they have used the device of publishing it at 8am precisely because it is such a weak document."
That's just the point. There IS nothing that justifies a war against Iraq. And this brings us back to face that most peculiar fact that, even with advisors, who one would suppose to have a couple of neurons firing, Bush and Blair just can't get it that they are destroying their own credibility every time they open their mouths.
