So much ๐Ÿ’š for this whole family. A few days ago on our ride through the Rif Mountains, these guys took us in when we found ourselves on the road just minutes before dusk. Though we said we were perfectly happy to camp outside, they not only insisted we sleep in their house (in our own room with a warm, comfy bed), but also treated us to an incredible five- or six-course meal of home-cooked Moroccan cuisine (best tajine we've had to date!) and cup after cup of mint tea. ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿต In the morning they insisted we stay for a wonderful breakfastโ€”and join them on a walk through their gorgeous grove of orange and olive treesโ€”before sending us on our way with fresh bread, home-pressed olive oil, handpicked oranges from the yard, and an invitation to come stay with them for a week if, inshallah, we one day return to #Morocco. ๐Ÿ’› I was sadly able to communicate only the most basic things with them; Lauren, as usual, killed it with the Arabic and was beloved by all. ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ ๐Ÿ™
