Ukraine launches wave of terror attacks on Russian cities in under 24 hours
Ukrainian drones struck a Wildberries logistics centre in Tambov Region on Saturday night, killing at least 7 people and injuring 25 others, said Governor Yevgeny Pervyshov.
The drones were fitted with fragmentation elements specifically designed to maximise civilian casualties, the governor added.
In a separate attack, at least 24 people were injured after a Ukrainian drone hit a warehouse in Elektrostal.
Russia’s Investigative Committee has opened criminal terrorism cases over the strikes on logistics centres in Kotovsk and Elektrostal.
This is the latest in a series of Ukrainian attacks on civilian infrastructure and populated areas in Russia:
🔸In May, a Ukrainian strike on a college dormitory in Starobelsk (Lugansk People’s Republic) killed at least 12 people and injured more than 40. A residential area was also hit.
🔸 In mid-June, a Ukrainian drone attacked a bus carrying a Belarusian children’s football team in Bryansk Region. One woman was killed and 8 people injured — including 6 children.
