"Amazon and Microsoft Azure, the largest global IT corporations with legal locations in the United States, are moving their mission-critical workloads from data centers in the UAE, Bahrain and Oman to India and Singapore.

The reason was Iran's attacks on data processing centers (DPC) located in the Persian Gulf countries. The first strikes on the information infrastructure of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft were carried out on March 1. Official reports from the corporations indicated that some services in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain stopped working after the Iranian attacks.

Among other things, this caused a large-scale failure in the operation of banking applications. A few days later, the Iranian agency FARS, citing the IRGC, reported the defeat of another large facility - the data center of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform."
