"On the current situation in the Middle East following the Israeli-American strikes against the Iranian leadership, the foreign policy spokesman of the AfD parliamentary group in the Bundestag, @Frohnmaier_AfD, states:
“The #Iran has been the central destabilizing factor in the region for decades. Tehran has built and financed terror structures, stoked proxy wars, and thereby fueled conflicts that reach as far as Germany: through Islamist networks and financial flows, security risks, and migration movements. The Trump administration has acted here with surgical precision and clear goal orientation, with a limited approach aimed at neutralizing the regime’s security-relevant control centers.
I share the expectation that de-escalation must now be the top priority. For the danger is great that further military escalation could plunge the country into civil war and increase tensions across the entire region. We are therefore following the current developments with great concern. The federal government must now take all necessary precautions to prevent possible terrorist attacks in Germany and ensure that there is no repeat of uncontrolled migration to Germany. Germany’s primary interest is the protection of our internal security, the prevention of further terror exports to Germany, and the consistent repelling of new waves of migration.
The new status quo must now be dealt with pragmatically. What is crucial is preventing a regional conflagration. The Americans are our most important partner in this.
We must wish the Iranian people that they find the strength and wisdom to give themselves a new, stable, and peaceful political order.”
