Mountain Update – 15th of July 2019Great News yesterday we received 25+cm of snow and tonight we are expecting more! This means we are going to open on Wednesday the 17th of July. Yippee!We will be opening the Pomeroy's Coffee & Tea Beginner Area, the Callahan & Martella Electrical limited Intermediate Slope and the T-bar up to at least Towers #7/8.We will open more terrain as the conditions permit.All other facilities, including the Rainbow Café, Lone Star NZ Rib Shack, Snowsports Instructors, Ski/Snowboard Hire ATOMIC SKIING Burtonsnowboards, and the Shuttles will be open for business.Our 8 km Alpine RoadDrive to the conditions and the speed limit is 40 km/hr maximum. Please put your lights on and stay left as there could be traffic going up and down.Together with Edridge Contracting, we have spent a lot of time, money and effort upgrading the road, so let’s keep the material/gravel on the road and not in the gullies/drainage ditches. Please follow our road rules which are there for your safety.ChainsWe do anticipate that we may require chains to be fitted on Wednesday.
