Migrant gangs are being accused of turning underage German girls into sex slaves in Nuremberg.
When AfD co-leader Alice Weidel brought this topic up in parliament, Left Party MP Katrin Fey laughed, according to the official Bundestag minutes.
Despite this laughter, a report from Welt shows just how painfully real these rapes are: "There was also a raid in an apartment here in Nuremberg, where another Syrian was arrested. A 35-year-old man. Drugs were found in his apartment. It is currently assumed that at least one young woman was raped. She was lured to the apartment with gifts and then sedated with medication."
Is this really what the Left Party finds funny?
Notably, Fey serves as her party's spokeswoman for civil and human rights, is the lead member on the Committee for Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid, and sits on the Interior Committee — making the reaction particularly striking.
Weidel continued her speech, asking: "I ask you: How many Nurembergs are there in Germany? And what have you all – yes, all of you here – done to our country through mass migration, through brutalization and moral decay?"
