The thermometers in Capanna Margherita, Italy plunged to -33,2°C, while Novi Vasi, Slovenia registered an all-time national record of -20°C. The UK was also hit by a new national April cold record with -6°C, just a few days after an all-time record for March of -15,4°C in Eskdalemuir. And while we are there, the Alps also reported the coldest April in history.
Very low temperatures with record-breaking cold and damaging frost were also reported in parts of France, Germany, and Croatia.
A cold blast from the Arctic Ocean pushed Alaska into a deep freeze breaking two records for snowfall and low temperatures for two consecutive days. The historic storm ranked among the most intense snowfalls since records started and snow cover reached as far south as Oklahoma.
Extreme cold temperatures with substantial snowfall totals to match hit the Moscow region this month. Weather conditions were akin to those suffered during the depths of winter. At the same time, the eastern region of Russia registered the greatest snow cover for April.
Are we recognizing the pattern here?
Typhoon Surigae became the most intense April tropical cyclone on record and battered the eastern Philippines with 190mph winds and intense rain. Parts of East Nusa Tenggara Province saw more than 20 inches of rain in 2 days.
Heavy rain and flooding also affected the central and northern areas of Colombia triggering landslides and damaging homes. Thousands of families were affected.
Hail as large as softballs battered portions of Texas and Oklahoma, leaving behind shattered windows on cars and in homes. It was the second billion-dollar disaster this year in Texas.
Hundreds of new sinkholes have been reported in Konya Province, Turkey since the start of the year, almost double the number registered last year.

So this week on MindMatters we discuss The Leadership Genius of Julius Caesar with author Phillip Barlag. This examination of Caesar's accomplishments not only brings a fresh perspective on who Caesar was, but also hones in on the qualities that made him an exemplary leader of ancient Rome and what lessons we can draw from the accounts of his life and character. What emerges is an alternative reading of Caesar, not as a wholly self-serving tyrant, but a politically skilled reformer, man of the people, and all around exceptional human being.

Listen on BuzzSprout:
Take, for instance, the following: We know children do not transmit Covid-19 virus and that the concept of asymptomatic spread has been questioned severely, particularly for children. Children, if infected, just do not spread Covid-19 to others readily, either to other children, other adults in their families or otherwise, nor to their teachers. It is well-noted that asymptomatic cases are not the drivers of the pandemic; something particularly important in relation to children as they're generally asymptomatic.
In other words there are no data whatsoever that could be used to support the need for vaccination of children in this Covid-19 pandemic. Yet there are currently a number of trials in process for a number of covid shots where the subjects of the studies ARE CHILDREN. Why are we vaccinating children against Covid-19 when we know the vast majority don't catch it or spread it? Has anyone bothered to assess whether the risk of adverse reaction to the shot is worth the (possible) minuscule benefit?
Join us on this episode of Objective:Health for a rousing discussion about the pros and cons of injecting kids with experimental genetic material.

Journalist Glenn Greenwald just highlighted an interesting point about the reporting by The New York Times on the so-called "Bountygate" story the outlet broke in June of last year about the Russian government trying to pay Taliban-linked fighters to attack US soldiers in Afghanistan.
"One of the NYT reporters who originally broke the Russia bounty story (originally attributed to unnamed 'intelligence officials') say today that it was a CIA claim," Greenwald tweeted. "So media outlets - again - repeated CIA stories with no questioning: congrats to all."
Join us as we pick Tom's brain about the history of the study of authoritarianism, how it became associated exclusively with conservatism, and what the latest studies are revealing about authoritarians on the left: those anti-conventionalists who channel their aggression against existing hierarchies and favor top-down censorship, and who are more willing to participate in political violence than their peers.

"Hell is empty and all the devils are here." William Shakespeare, The TempestMike Yeadon is a soft-spoken microbiologist and a former Vice President of Allergy and Respiratory Research at Pfizer. He spent 32 years working for large pharmaceutical companies and is a leading expert on viral respiratory infections. He is also a man on a mission, and his mission is to inform as many people as possible about the elite powerbrokers that are using the pandemic as a smokescreen to conceal their real objectives. Here's Yeadon in a recent interview:
"Depopulation"? Who said anything about depopulation? Isn't it a bit of a stretch to go from a mass vaccination campaign to allegations of a conspiracy to "depopulate a significant portion of the world"?"If you wanted to depopulate a significant portion of the world, and to do it in a way that wouldn't require destruction of the environment with nuclear weapons, or poisoning everyone with anthrax or something, And you wanted plausible deniability, whilst you had a multi-year infectious disease crisis; I don't think you could come up with a better plan of work than what seems to be in front of me. I can't say that's what they're going to do, but I cannot think of a benign explanation for why they are doing it." ("Interview with Dr Mike Yeadon", The Delingpole Podcast; Minute 44: 25)
While New York State's voluntary app has proven to be a logistical nightmare, with its many shortcomings making it almost unusable, Israel's Green Pass has already started to create a two-tiered society, with stark contrast between the haves and the have-nots (vaxxed and unvaxxed) and Naomi Wolf is sounding dire warnings about "the end of human liberty in the West if this plan unfolds as planned."
Yet the plans of the elites are not without resistance. Gov. DeSantis of Florida has taken an executive action against vaccine passports and even the WHO has dismissed the idea as discriminatory. Meanwhile, the UK has said that the Covid passports will only be a 'short-term' measure until the covetted herd immunity has been reached (if you trust them on this, you might want do a little research into the history of 'temporary' government powers).
