It made our mass media pundits look like hardened fools. But they have kept spouting their nonsense anyway, hoping no one notices the soup dripping down their faces.
But to talk about that, I have to talk about this: Last month we finally got to see the Senate report spelling out the Russian meddling in our last election. And it was a bombshell. It rocked the heart of our country. It shredded the inflamed mucousy core of our palpitating democracy.

Pepe's article was informed by the work of Professor Xiang Lanxin, director of the Centre of One Belt and One Road Studies at the China National Institute for SCO International Exchange and Judicial Cooperation, and Zhao Tinyang of the Chinese Academy of Social Science. Both scholars have advocated a post-Westphalian world order based upon a fallacy which posits that China's ancient philosophical traditions of Tianxia (aka: "All under Heaven") is not only incompatible with the Western system of confrontation and dominance of the weak and different, but totally antagonistic.
While the principle of Tianxia is a beautiful and important concept for Westerners to understand, and truly is the basis for international harmony which transcends the narrow limits of geopolitics plaguing the west, there is something dangerously false embedded in Tinyang's thesis which needs to be exposed. The fact is that Tianxia is not only in complete harmony with the principle of Westphalia, but that the decay of Western values into the Hobbesian mess of total war and economic manipulation is not due to anything within the Treaty of Westphalia but rather in spite of it.
This week on NewsReal, Joe & Niall discuss the historic stand-off between government and the governed in France. This state of sclerosis is also apparent in the Anglosphere, where 'Brexit' is clearly being manipulated to deliver 'the right result' (i.e., no actual Brexit). Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, Trump really wants that Wall, but instead a political wall has gone up, again blocking the popular choice.
What happens when the democratic will of the people has nowhere to go? The 'globalist class' doesn't seem to understand that all its political gamesmanship, social engineering and brutal repression will lead to nowhere but their violent overthrow. As JFK once said: "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."

Some of those prisoners are foreign fighters, and their countries of origin - Western countries in particular - are unwilling to accept them since they lack evidence to prosecute them. Though the Kurds have since backtracked on their statement, it shows the level of frustration shown by the Kurdish leadership regarding President Trump's abrupt and apparently whimsical decision to pull American forces out of Syria after a telephone conversation with Turkish President Erdogan on December 14th.
The next step the Kurdish leadership took was to rush to Paris to hold discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron - who has donned the globalist, interventionist cap since the inauguration of an isolationist, "alt-right" president in the US in January 2017.
President Macron reassured the Kurdish leadership that hundreds of French troops stationed in Syria as part of the globalists' "coalition to battle the Islamic State" will remain there and take the lead after the withdrawal of the 2,000 American troops, though it is unlikely that the French forces will stay in Syria for long once the American forces pull out. Particularly if we keep the fact in mind that President Macron has been facing the biggest challenge to his presidency in recent months in the form of Yellow Vest protests.

Basing our discussion on Peter Townsend's The Mecca Mystery: Probing the Black Hole at the Heart of Islam and Shiraz Maher's Salafi-Jihadism: The History of an Idea, we take a look at what the historical record really tells us about Muhammed, Mecca, and the principal power players around when Islam began, as well as what modern jihadists truly believe - based on their own theorists and their foundational writings. So if you were ever curious about Islam, join us today on the Truth Perspective for the beginning of a discussion into these complex and controversial topics.

"ISIS is still a very real threat here," CNN international corespondent Clarissa Ward told Jake Tapper from northern Syria. "And the real concern that we are hearing over and over again on the ground, Jake, is that when US troops withdraw, a power vacuum is created, and that only gives them more strength."
Virulent Syria war pundit Charles Lister, who is notorious for praising Al Qaeda and is a senior fellow at the Gulf state-funded neoconservative think tank Middle East Institute, told AFP that this attack invalidates Donald Trump's order last month to withdraw troops from Syria.

Independent reporter Vincent Lapierre has been 'embedded' with Yellow Vest protesters since the movement began back in November, publishing video reports on his channel Le Média Pour Tous of each of the major Saturday protests in Paris.
The following is his video report from 'Acte VIII' in Paris, which took place on Saturday 5th of January. Click on the captions icon (cc) for English subtitles.
What do you think: is the French government-media complex correct in its assessment that the Yellow Vest movement has 'run out of gas'? Or, at the rate they're firing it at protesters, and their failure to deter protesters from getting onto the streets, will the police run out of gas first?
Don't believe me? Explain why, then, that of the 650 UK Members of Parliament, about 70% come from constituencies where the majority of people voted for Brexit, while among all Members of Parliament about 70% have made it clear that they favor remaining in the EU.
In addition, the Conservative government which approved the referendum in 2015 was lead by David Cameron, who has always been against leaving the EU. His successor, Theresa May, who negotiated the pseudo-Brexit deal that would effectively keep the UK in the EU, and which was voted down yesterday by a massive majority in Parliament, is also against Brexit.
So the obvious reason why the last 2.5 years of British politics has been an utter farce, and why the British people find themselves in this current mess, is that while a majority of British citizens voted to leave the EU, a large majority of their MPs on both sides of the aisle (and the British 'establishment' itself) do not want to leave the EU and are determined to make sure it never happens. To claim otherwise would be to suggest that British politicians were as clueless about the nature of the UK's relationship with the EU as the British public. But that's not the full story.
