SOTT Earth Changes Summary - November 2019: Extreme Weather, Planetary Upheaval, Meteor Fireballs

© Sott.net
As if mocking the propaganda of anthropogenic climate change advocates, Nature has - once again - provided a wild and varied ride for the inhabitants of planet Earth in the month of November.

In keeping with the pattern of recent years, winter arrived early again in many parts of the Northern Hemisphere, disrupting normal life and food production. The US saw new cold and snowfall records over much of its territory, even as 'Extinction Rebellion' zealots demanded further man-made CO2 reductions to 'save the planet from overheating'. Exceptional snowfalls and early freezing temperatures also left their mark in Europe, and parts of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Heavy rain, floods, and landslides also wreaked havoc this month, with South Sudan, Kenya, Congo, Algeria, the UK, France, the Philippines, Australia, and northern Mexico all affected by hundreds of deaths, thousands displaced and significant damage to local infrastructure. Italy was hit once again by extreme weather this month: storms, floods, and early snow left a path of destruction across several provinces.

Our viewers will not be surprised to learn that a significant number of meteor fireballs and unexpected NEOs also made an appearance in our skies last month, shocking and delighting many eyewitnesses and leaving many experts wondering whether their claim that they can track all dangerous NEOs is really just 'pie in the sky'.

All that and more in this month's SOTT Earth Changes Summary...

Psychologists Explain How To Stop Overthinking Everything

stop over thinking
Thinking about something in endless circles — is exhausting.

While everyone overthinks a few things once in a while, chronic over-thinkers spend most of their waking time ruminating, which puts pressure on themselves. They then mistake that pressure to be stress.

"There are people who have levels of overthinking that are just pathological," says clinical psychologist Catherine Pittman, an associate professor in the psychology department at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana.

"But the average person also just tends to overthink things." Pittman is also the author of "Rewire Your Anxious Brain: How to Use the Neuroscience of Fear to End Anxiety, Panic, and Worry."

Overthinking can take many forms: endlessly deliberating when making a decision (and then questioning the decision), attempting to read minds, trying to predict the future, reading into the smallest of details, etc.

People who overthink consistently run commentaries in their heads, criticising and picking apart what they said and did yesterday, terrified that they look bad — and fretting about a terrible future that might await them

'What ifs' and 'shoulds' dominate their thinking, as if an invisible jury is sitting in judgement on their lives. And they also agonise over what to post online because they are deeply concerned about how other people will interpret their posts and updates.

The Mysterious Death of White Helmets Founder James Le Mesurier

On Her Majesty's Top Secret Service
On November 11, 2019, the British founder of the notorious White Helmets, James Le Mesurier, died in Istanbul, Turkey. The circumstances surrounding his death immediately elicited a flurry of Turkish and corporate media reports, many of them contradictory, as the details of his final hours came to light.

Mark Urban, the diplomatic editor at BBC Newsnight, immediately tweeted that "a former colleague" had told him it was impossible to "fall from that balcony," referencing Le Mesurier's reported cause of death and intimated that there may have been "state involvement." Urban did not identify his mysterious "former colleague" or explain what made him sufficiently qualified to conclude that Le Mesurier's death may have been a state-sanctioned hit.

Urban deleted his tweets soon after, maintaining that "there is a good deal of suspicion it may be murder by a state actor, but others suggest he may have taken his own life." Did Urban jump the gun? Was he instructed to delete the tweets, and if so, by whom?

Visiting Britain's Political Prisoner

"I think I'm going out of my mind," Julian Assange told John Pilger at Belmarsh Prison. "No you're not," Pilger responded. "Look how you frighten them, how powerful you are."

A man walks past an artwork depicting WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange on a building near Westminster Magistrates Court
I set out at dawn. Her Majesty's Prison Belmarsh is in the flat hinterland of south east London, a ribbon of walls and wire with no horizon. At what is called the visitors centre, I surrendered my passport, wallet, credit cards, medical cards, money, phone, keys, comb, pen, paper.

I need two pairs of glasses. I had to choose which pair stayed behind. I left my reading glasses. From here on, I couldn't read, just as Julian couldn't read for the first few weeks of his incarceration. His glasses were sent to him, but inexplicably took months to arrive.

There are large TV screens in the visitors centre. The TV is always on, it seems, and the volume turned up. Game shows, commercials for cars and pizzas and funeral packages, even TED talks, they seem perfect for a prison: like visual valium.

I joined a queue of sad, anxious people, mostly poor women and children, and grandmothers. At the first desk, I was fingerprinted, if that is still the word for biometric testing.

"Both hands, press down!" I was told. A file on me appeared on the screen.

Objective:Health: #38 - The Failed Medical System

O:H header
Everywhere we look we see signs that the medical system, that's supposed to be healing and preventing disease, is diseased itself. It was recently announced that Americans are dying young at alarming rates. And is it any wonder? We have the opioid epidemic, vaccine injuries, the obesity epidemic, the cholesterol obsessed doctors who know nothing about nutrition, the most basic foundation of health.

Polio vaccines now cause more polio outbreaks than the wild virus, the idea of curing disease has been pushed out by Big Pharma 'disease management' and veganism is sold as a cure-all and the ideal diet for everyone (and the planet).

When the entire medical system is based on lies, with its blatant failures mounting, how long before we see its complete collapse?

Volcanoes, Earthquakes And The 3,600 Year Comet Cycle

In two previous articles, I proposed explanations for the events that triggered the Younger Dryas.

In the article titled Did Earth Steal Martian Waters, I described how, ca.12,500 BP, an electric discharge may have transferred part of the Martian water and atmosphere to Earth (see pink arrow on the diagram below).

In the article titled Of Flash-frozen Mammoths and Cosmic Catastrophes, I explained how, about 4 centuries earlier, ca. 12,900 BP, several cometary fragments hit the Earth's Northern hemisphere (see turquoise arrow) causing the subsequent global cooling.

Greenland temperature 18000 BP - now

Greenland temperature 18000 BP - now
While writing those articles it appeared more and more clear that these were only two of three catastrophic events that preceded the Younger Dryas. In the diagram above, we can see that a third event occurred ca. 14,400 BP (see green vertical line).

This event had an even greater magnitude than the two events that followed it since it induced a 10°C drop as compared to the two following events which 'only' induced a 7°C drop.

In the present article, we will explore the specifics of the 14,400 BP event and explain how it might be part of a larger 3,600 year cometary cycle.

Ahead of COP25, Child Climate Goddess Greta Demands 'Complete Dismantling of Colonial, Racist, Patriarchal Systems of Oppression'

Comment: SILENCE, SINNERS. Greta is speaking...

Greta Thunberg
© Roy Rochlin/WireImage
Far-left climate extremist Greta Thunberg unloaded on the world in an op-ed published on Friday, claiming that fossil fuels "are literally" killing mankind, and that they are a threat to "our very existence" as she said that her "climate crisis" agenda is not just about the environment, but about fighting the "colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression."

In an op-ed published in Project Syndicate, Thunberg and two other far-left climate activists attacked world leaders over their pro-capitalist policies, writing that "the politicians let the profiteers continue to exploit our planet's resources and destroy its ecosystems in a quest for quick cash that threatens our very existence."

Comment: Rumor has it she is prepared to destroy 5 countries at a time - with just the power of her mind - until her demands are met.

Her complete list of demands. Here's an excerpt:
The science is crying out for urgent action, and still our leaders dare to ignore it. So we continue to fight.

After a year of strikes, our voices are being heard. We are being invited to speak in the corridors of power. At the UN, we addressed a room filled with world leaders. At the World Economic Forum in Davos, we met with prime ministers, presidents, and even the pope. We have spent hundreds of hours participating in panels and speaking with journalists and filmmakers. We have been offered awards for our activism.

Our efforts have helped to shift the wider conversation on climate change. People now increasingly discuss the crisis we face, not in whispers or as an afterthought, but publicly and with a sense of urgency. Polls confirm changing perceptions. One recent survey showed that, in seven of the eight countries included, climate breakdown is considered to be the most important issue facing the world. Another confirmed that schoolchildren have led the way in raising awareness.

With public opinion shifting, world leaders, too, say that they have heard us. They say that they agree with our demand for urgent action to tackle the climate crisis. But they do nothing. As they head to Madrid for the 25th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP25) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, we call out this hypocrisy.

On the next two Fridays, we will again take to the streets: worldwide on November 29, and in Madrid, Santiago, and many other places on December 6 during the UN climate conference. Schoolchildren, young people, and adults all over the world will stand together, demanding that our leaders take action - not because we want them to, but because the science demands it.

That action must be powerful and wide-ranging. After all, the climate crisis is not just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all. Our political leaders can no longer shirk their responsibilities.

Some say that the Madrid conference is not very important; the big decisions will be made at COP26 in Glasgow next year. We disagree. As the science makes clear, we don't have a single day to lose.

We have learned that, if we do not step up, nobody will. So we will keep up a steady drumbeat of strikes, protests, and other actions. We will become louder and louder. We will do whatever it takes to persuade our leaders to unite behind science so clear that even children understand it.
Yes indeed, 'science' so clear, only developmentally-impaired children could believe it.

It's highly unlikely that Greta herself wrote that SJW screed.

God help Madrid for the next two weeks.

Convenient London Bridge Terrorist Attack Occurs Two Weeks Before General Election: UPDATES

London bridge attack 2019

Comment: 3 weeks ago Joe Quinn posted this on Facebook:
"I'll make a little prediction now, that if there is another "Muslim terror attack" in the UK before the Dec. 12th general election, it will be pretty clear evidence that the British establishment, as represented (as always) by the Conservative party, uses "Muslim terrorism" to maintain their position in power.

Why? Because "Muslim terrorism" was THE reason that a majority of British people voted for Brexit. If that reason were to be brought back, front and center, it would likely swing a general election vote in favor of the Conservatives, with the people thinking that by voting for the Conservatives they are voting for "Brexit" (and an end to immigration) when they are merely voting for 5 more years of Conservative party rule (and the continued destruction of the NHS)."

The man shot by police on London Bridge has died at the scene, Britain's top counter-terrorism officer told reporters. The suspect was strapped with a fake bomb and the incident is being treated as a terrorist attack.

Police shot the suspect dead, after he stabbed multiple people near London Bridge on Friday, Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu told reporters that afternoon. The man died at the scene.

"This is a terrorist incident," Basu told reporters, adding that investigators believe the man was wearing a hoax explosive vest.

Comment: And that attack in 2017 just happened to occur one week before the last UK general election...

Here's video footage of the police shooting the suspect dead:

Police have confirmed the 'stabber-jihadist' killed two people. Here's a still from video footage of him apparently showing his 'fake suicide vest':

london bridge terror
Interestingly, the three 'London Bridge stabber-jihadists' two years ago were also wearing fake suicide vests:

sucide vest london bridge stabbing

The London Times is reporting that 'stabber-jihadist' had previously served jail-time for an "Islamist terrorism-related offence," was released from prison about a year ago, and "agreed to wear an electronic tag as part of his bail conditions."

It's been noted in past attacks that 'lone-wolf jihadists' were either 'radicalized' in prison or - more specifically - went on a rampage soon after leaving prison walls.

Not only was the stabber - 28-year-old Usman Khan - previously convicted in 2012 for terrorism offenses; the violence began at a Cambridge-sponsored "prisoner rehabilitation" conference where Khan was expected to speak, among other ex-cons...

Khan was released in December of last year. He had apparently plotted to attack the London Stock Exchange in 2010.

Johnson has pledged to bolster prison sentences for serious crimes as a result: "I think that the practice of automatic, early release where you cut a sentence in half and let really serious, violent offenders out early simply isn't working, and you've some very good evidence of how that isn't working, I am afraid, with this case." Unsurprisingly, the BBC has backed down from its beef with BoJo - agreeing for him to appear on the Andrew Marr show, even though they had previously said he wouldn't appear unless he agreed to speak with Andrew Neil.

On a lighter note, the fact that one of the citizens who confronted and subdued Khan used a narwhal tusk has caught the public's attention. The man - a Polish chef named Luckasz - was at the conference with Khan. After Khan started attacking people, Luckasz grabbed the tusk from a wall in the building. He can be seen in the footage brandishing the makeshift spear.

Unsurprisingly, IS laid claim to the knife rampage on Saturday, according to SITE Intelligence Group, which we suppose you could call the PR group for ISIS's PR group, as they're usually the only ones to publish statements from Amaq. SITE Director Rita Katz noted that the attack "bore IS-inspired hallmarks." There is, however, no evidence to support the claim from what the UK police have so far shared with the public.

The claim was broadcast through the group's Amaq News Agency, a propaganda outlet that disseminates its message through apps like Telegram. Europol announced that it had successfully removed "a significant portion of key actors within the IS network" from the platform. The coordinated effort saw the jihadist-linked accounts being removed from Telegram "at an impressive pace" in the days ahead of the London attack.

Johnson has revealed that 74 convicted terrorists are roaming the streets of the UK after being granted early release from prison.
Johnson: "I am sure that people can imagine that what we are doing with the other 74 individuals is to ensure that they are being properly invigilated to ensure that there is no threat and we took that action because we were concerned ... If you are convicted of a serious terrorist offence, there should be a mandatory minimum sentence of 14 years - and some should never be released."
Corbyn's take:
Speaking to Sky on Sunday, veteran peace campaigner Corbyn said people convicted of terrorism offences should "not necessarily" serve their full prison terms because it depended on the circumstances of their imprisonment. "I think there has to be an examination of how our prison services work and, crucially, what happens to them on release from prison." The probation service had failed to monitor Khan after his release...and there should be a "full investigation" into the circumstances around Khan's sentence and subsequent release.
The two victims have now been identified: 23-year-old Saskia Jones and 25-year-old Jack Merritt, who worked rehabilitating criminals, and who was coordinating the conference which Khan was attending:
Sometime during the scheduled storytelling and creative writing workshops, Khan's rampage began. Merritt and another woman were stabbed to death, three others were injured, and Khan was subdued by members of the public on London Bridge - which reportedly included some of the convicts attending the workshop - before police officers shot him dead at point blank range. He wore a fake suicide vest under his jacket, and had reportedly threatened to "blow up" the conference building.

Merritt's father described him in a tweet as a "beautiful spirit" and "champion for underdogs everywhere," while colleagues paid tribute to his work with offenders.

Jack "was the sweetest, most caring and selfless individual I've ever met," criminology lecturer Serena Wright said. Suffolk Law Centre Director Audrey Ludwig praised his "deep commitment to prisoner education and rehabilitation."
The father of Jack Merritt said this: "My son, Jack, who was killed in this attack, would not wish his death to be used as the pretext for more draconian sentences or for detaining people unnecessarily."

The judge that handed down Khan's prison sentence in 2012 warned that he was a "serious jihadi" who should not be eligible for early release from prison. Here's Khan on the BBC in 2008 after a raid on his apartment:

However, he was arrested two years later for plotting to blow up the London Stock Exchange, kill then-Mayor Boris Johnson, bomb a series of London pubs, and establish a terror training camp on family land in Kashmir.

MindMatters: Finding Meaning through Mythological Representations: Delving Further into Jordan Peterson's Maps of Meaning

chaos demon
Why have many ancient - and even contemporary stories - just stuck with us and seem etched into the psyche of civilization? What is it about particular narratives that appear to hold something so essential to our existence, and that have become reference points for our own narratives? And how can a story, or a mythology, serve us as we navigate life's many day to day travails, and unexpected twists and turns? Jordan Peterson writes: "A good theory lets you use things — things that once appeared useless — for desirable ends. In consequence, such a theory has a general sense of excitement and hope about it. A good theory about the structure of myth should let you see how a story you couldn't even understand previously might shed new and useful light on the meaning of your life."

Join us this week on MindMatters as we continue our discussion of Jordan Peterson's deeply insightful Maps of Meaning and dive into the treasures of 'Mythological Representation: The Constituent Elements of Experience' - where we'll be taking a look at how the archetypes of many myths are, in fact, all around us - and whether we realize it or not, make up the firmament for the stories we tell ourselves about our own exploratory journeys into both the known and the unknown.

NYT's 'Leaked' Chinese Files Story Covers For Terrorism

NYT Times on China gulags
The New York Times has once again exposed itself as an organ of US special interests operating under the guise of journalism - contributing to Wall Street and Washington's ongoing and escalating hybrid war with China with a particularly underhanded piece of war propaganda.

Its article, "'Absolutely No Mercy': Leaked Files Expose How China Organized Mass Detentions of Muslims," at face value attempts to bolster allegations made primarily by the United States that China is organizing unwarranted and oppressive "mass detentions" of "Muslims" in China's western region of Xinjiang.

But just by investigating the quote in the headline alone reveals both the truth behind what is really happening in Xinjiang, why Beijing has reacted the way it has, and that the United States, including its mass media - is deliberately lying about it.
