Being subscribed to dozens of email newsletters, I get lots of interesting news sent to me by compilers of news from various perspectives. The SOTT forum is also a rich source of global news and human doings of various sorts. It was thanks to the forum and forum member a.saccus, that I became aware of the World Union of Jewish Students Hasbara Handbook which you can read HERE. It has also been archived HERE.

This handbook is important for several reasons, the main one being that it demonstrates vividly how the process of "Zionizing" that is going on in the U.S. follows so closely the much maligned and discredited "Protocols of the Elders of Zion."

"Failure by American non-Jews to recognize that Zionist Israel has nothing to do with America's best interests and really nothing to do with the form of Judaism practiced by their next door American neighbor; and failure by American Jews to look deeply enough into their own tradition to recognize that Israeli imperialism and violence is contrary to everything their religion has stood for for 2000 years, will lead to the Third Irony:

It used to baffle me that people who can command literally billions and trillions of dollars can be so stupid. Surely they should know that Saddam, dead, executed by them, is a far more potent mythical symbol for focusing resistance than he ever was alive.

I mean, how stupid can people get?

Well, obviously a lot stupider. Consider the following:

Israel's leading historian on the topic, Benny Morris, although having done more than anyone else to clarify exactly what happened, nonetheless concludes that, morally, it was a good thing - just as, in his view, the "annihilation" of Native Americans was a good thing - that, legally, Palestinians have no right to return to their homes, and that, politically, Israel's big error in 1948 was that it hadn't "carried out a large expulsion and cleansed the whole country - the whole Land of Israel, as far as the Jordan" of Palestinians. There is a saying of sorts that "if you are going to do something, do it well", and given the serious consequences, nowhere is that more true than when you plan to engage in criminal activity.

Today in Basra, Southern Iraq, two members of the British SAS (Special Ops) were caught, 'in flagrante' as it were, dressed in full "Arab garb", driving a car full of explosives and shooting and killing two official Iraqi policemen.

I've just about had it with the Protocols of Zion. To be more specific, I've had it with ADL spooks and useful idiots propagandizing said document for the purpose of character assassination, guilt by association, and the general spreading of moralistic claptrap. When a document is used by clownish racists (both Jew and Gentile) to incite both 'anti-Semitism' and 'philo-Isrealism' (and its accompanying 'anti-Arabism'), without any interest in facts or reality, something is up. What other document has served so well as propaganda for both sides of an ideological conflict?

People sometimes ask how such conspiracies as the JFK assassination and 9/11 could be "covered up without someone from the inside talking." As Harrison Livingstone points out, this is a naive question. If someone is a witness to a murder done by professionals, do you really think they are going to go around blabbing about it? And if the victim is a president, or the people in the World Trade Center towers, the Pentagon and 4 airliners, it is clear to even the most pedestrian thinker that the crime has been committed by those with great power. Anybody with two firing neurons can figure out that such perpetrators are in such a strong position that protesting or seriously trying to blow the whistle on such an event puts the whistle-blower in the gravest of danger...

Men grieve over the three boys' bodies. The sons of a senior Fatah official were murdered when their car was riddled with 60 bullets

Two days ago in the Gaza strip, unknown gunmen deliberately targeted and murdered 3 Palestinian children as they were being driven to school. The Guardian reports:

The polonium allegedly used to kill Alexander "Sasha" Litvinenko has now been traced not only to the dead mans' own home and that of Russian Oligarch in exile Berezovsky, but also to the headquarters of "security and risk management company", Erinys International. "Security and risk management company" is simply a politically correct name to describe those companies that hire and then rent out ruthless mercenaries to carry out the US government's dirty work in Iraq - the murder of any Iraqi who gets in the way of the US corporate looting of Iraq's wealth.

Such "private" firms are required because, to use US or British troops to protect US and European big business operations in Iraq would immediately expose the real reason for the Iraq invasion. Of the dozens of such "security and risk management" companies currently with their hands in the Iraq cookie jar, the vast majority were established since the US invasion of Iraq. No coincidence there.

One of the many strange things surrounding the murder of Alexander Litvinenko is the fact that it is being discussed at all. The exact details of the method used to assassinate him, his 3 week hospitalization, with pictures supplied by Lord Bell (more about him below) and Litvinenko's ultimate death have all been publicized to the greatest extent possible. This, it has to be said, is somewhat surprising given that covert intelligence matters (even those involving intelligence agencies of other nations) are usually kept covert.

For comparison, consider the death of Dr. David Kelly. Despite the overwhelming evidence that Kelly was murdered, the responsible parties (which undoubtedly included the Blair government although it is unlikely it was the only one) possessed sufficient control to muzzle the truth, with the official record showing 'death by suicide', general public skepticism about the affair notwithstanding. Control of the press is the cornerstone of any aspiring covert autocracy. If you control the press you control the minds of the masses and therefore....well, pretty much everything. From this we conclude that those who hold the real power in the UK wanted the blame for Litvinenko's death to fall on Putin, and to this end, allowed more freedom of the press than is normal in these cases. From there it follows that those in control of the press in the UK are enemies of the current Putin government and, it can be reasonably argued, had a hand in Litvinenko's murder.

Speaking of the media; "Jewish" "Russian Oligarch" Boris Abramovich Berezovsky whom I mentioned in part 1, is a close confidant of one Lord Timothy Bell, an establishment "Conservative" party member and one of Britain's most successful and experienced public relations experts. In an interview published in 'The Observer' on April 27 2003, Berezovsky boasted that his "campaign to resist extradition and win political asylum is being masterminded by Conservative politicians and, in particular, the communications guru Lord Tim Bell." Berezovsky says: "I have a lot of connections here, not so much with New Labour but with the Conservatives. Lord Bell for example."

Lord Bell of Belgravia (as he likes to be known) is also a purveyor of PR advice to media luminaries such as Rupert Murdoch and has also peddled PR to Ukrainian president Viktor Yushchenko (another victim of poisoning), and is a longtime confidant of none other than the iron lady herself, Baroness Thatcher, who he almost single-handedly propelled into Downing Street in 1979. (True power in Western "democracies" has never lain with the public faces of government it seems).

My main question here is: did Berzovsky have a hand in the murder of Litvinenko?
