SOTT Focus: NewsReal: Trump Indicted, Again - Ukrainian 'Counter-Offensive' Failing

trump indictment putin treaty newsreal
© Sott.net
They're really going for it. The regime wants to knock the electorate's favorite to become the next president of the US out of the race. Last week's indictment of Donald Trump in a Florida court for '37 charges of mishandling top secret government documents' are patently trumped-up charges intended to negatively impact his re-election bid - perhaps by rendering his candidacy 'invalid'.

Meanwhile, the Anglo-American 'Ukrainian counter-offensive' attempt to break through Russian military fortifications across southern Ukraine is not going well. In fact, it's being obliterated, along with thousands more hapless Ukrainian men.

The war could have been avoided: Putin revealed to an African peace delegation this week the text of a peace treaty signed by both Russia and Ukraine in April 2022, which Ukraine reneged on after British PM Boris Johnson 'suddenly appeared' in Kiev and effectively ordered Zelensky NOT to accept Moscow's terms.

SOTT Focus: SOTT Earth Changes Summary - May 2023: Extreme Weather, Planetary Upheaval, Meteor Fireballs

secs523
** Sorry the Earth Changes Summary Video for May is so late - all Sott.net chroniclers were attending a wedding! **

If you thought the unseasonable snow and cold temperatures would end in April, you were wrong. Records continued to be broken in May in both hemispheres, and many countries suffered from heavy floods due to tons of melting snow.

Some snowy events to highlight:
  • Michigan - 26 inches of record snow.
  • West Virginia - 20 inches of record snow.
  • Sierra Nevada, California - 15 inches in 48 hours. (State snowpack over 300% of average)
  • Teller County, Colorado - Heavy unseasonable snow.
  • Spain - Unseasonable snow after an early heatwave.
  • Iwate Prefecture, Japan - Record snow for May.
  • New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory - Record coldest May temperatures.
And flooding events:
  • Alaska - Catastrophic flooding after ice jams and melting snow
  • Emilia Romagna, Italy - Heavy floods take the life of 14.
  • Southwestern Germany - Heavy floods cause closure of rail lines.
  • Lapland, Finland - Worst flooding in 55 years
  • Yemen - Heavy floods leave 24 dead
  • Somalia - Devastating floods trigger the evacuation of 200,000
  • South Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo - Catastrophic floods leave 400 dead.
  • Jiangxi, China - 14,000 evacuated after heavy floods
Remember, don't listen to the warm-mongers when we start getting hotter than normal temperatures, it's all caused by El Niño. And don't forget to look up and pay attention to the show provided by the increasing number of meteor fireballs... and don't let any "authority" convince you that they are Martian spacecrafts crashing into Earth!

All that, and more, in this month's SOTT Earth Changes Summary:

SOTT Focus: MindMatters: The Unbroken Individual Is the True Source of Moral Responsibility

forest passage
This week on MindMatters we take a third and final look at the prescient and resounding thoughts of Ernst Jünger's The Forest Passage and reflect on what it means - in the philosophical and practical sense - to be a forest walker, or forest rebel. For our previous episodes on the book see: How one resists and chooses to respond to totalitarianism is at least as crucial as making the choice itself. But what are some of the many considerations involved? What inner resources does one draw upon and where might one find the light that helps to make the best of all choices? What does one fall back on when many of the institutions that are meant to morally support a society have been effectively gutted, or done away with completely? What is the responsibility of an unbroken and 'concrete individual' to step in and rectify institutional failure to some degree? And where does the power of the spoken or written word fit into this complex equation?

SOTT Focus: Early Prominent Californian Trans Activist Sentenced to Life Imprisonment For Triple Murder

Comment: And the victims were a married lesbian couple and their 19-year-old son. The kicker is that their killer is most likely going to a WOMEN's prison...

dana rvers murder transgender
A prominent trans activist has been sentenced for the 2016 triple homicide of a California lesbian couple and their son. Dana Rivers, born David Chester Warfield, has been handed a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

"It is a horrible thing to sentence someone to die in prison, and I don't take that lightly," Judge Scott Patton said during the court hearing held today. "But this is the most depraved crime I ever handled in the criminal justice system in 33 years. Frankly, you deserve to spend the rest of your life in prison."

The sentencing comes months after Rivers, 68, had been found guilty of the murders in November of last year. Rivers was denied a motion for a new trial, though his attorney had attempted to argue prosecutorial misconduct. Judge Patton dismissed the issues raised, labeling them "trivial" and "frankly quite ridiculous," while noting that the evidence for Rivers' guilt was "overwhelming."

Comment: When news that Warfield/Rivers was the chief suspect in a triple homicide broke in 2016, The Washington Post reported on his 1999 dismissal from his teaching job:
The cause of her dismissal, apparently, was the revelation that she was transgender and planned to transition. The school district argued that she discussed her transition — a personal matter — with several students after being expressly warned to keep such matters private, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"The board members didn't want a transsexual teacher," Ray Bender, a board member who voted against dismissal proceedings, told the New York Times at the time. "They said they didn't want to create confusion for the students."

The board voted 3-2 to fire Rivers.
Bender voted in Warfield's favor, so he recalls this dismissal as being motivated by straight-up 'unfair bias', but if you review the account provided above by a parent of one of the schoolchildren, their problem with Warfield was that he was telling his pupils specific details about his sex life that are inappropriate for any adult to tell any children, much less a teacher to his students.

In any event, Bender's recollection that the school board members "said they didn't want to create confusion for the students" is probably accurate. What a difference 20 years makes, eh? Nowadays, deviant hypersexuality is mainlined into pupils' brains the moment they enter school. Or anywhere in the public realm, for that matter.

Here is more background on the killer, from a sympathetic New York Times piece in 1999:
Until age 44, David Warfield had been a Navy electronics expert, a political consultant and school board member in Huntington Beach, a baseball coach and a white-water rafting instructor. Ms. Rivers says she is still proud of that resume, but is happier personally now.

Like many other people with gender dysphoria, which the International Center for Gender Education describes as extreme discomfort with one's sex, Ms. Rivers said her condition led her to alcoholism, thoughts of suicide and three failed marriages.

"I've been able to lead a successful life, but personally it's been a real struggle," she said. "Since I started taking hormones last January, I've been happier because I'm getting to be who I am for the first time. I'm going to be a better teacher for it."
"Happier and better..."

How is 'she' feeling now, we wonder, having been in prison since 2016 for committing a triple murder that stunned even an experienced California judge?

Obviously, not all or even most 'people who identify as T' are going to commit murder, much less minor crimes. But HALF of them will attempt suicide at least once. This is a peculiar mental illness, and those diagnosed with it should be treated accordingly - NOT put in charge of classrooms, elevated into the media spotlight by politicians, and encouraged to flaunt their peculiar condition as something 'worthy of aspiring to'.

Here is the speech Warfield/Rivers gave at the 'Millennium March on Washington' on 30 April 2000, the first time a gay rights demonstration included the 'T' in LGBT. The fiery, revolutionary rhetoric will be all-too-familiar to you...

We can see that the CIA controls a significant part of the arms trade black market. Millions of dollars are being spent on financing terrorist groups and political radicals around the globe. Biden has already allocated more than $50 billion for purchasing weapons for Ukraine.

We know that the vast part of this money ends up in the pockets of corrupt CIA agents and officials bribed by them, and are also spent on other illegal activities.

In the first part of our investigation, we publish a list of the CIA agents who are involved in corrupt schemes for weapons supply to hotspots all around the world. We want their activity to become public and be thoroughly investigated. The U.S. foreign policy should emphasize peace with all nations, entangling alliances with none.

SOTT Focus: NewsReal: The Great Ukrainian Counter-Offensive Commenceth! Oh, And The US Govt Has Alien Tech

© Sott.net
Finally, the dam has broken in Ukraine. Literally and figuratively. Heralded by the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam on the Dnieper River, the much-vaunted Great Ukrainian Counter-Offensive to 'boot the Rooskies from sovereign Ukraine' is underway, and it's almost certainly going to end in the fall of the US puppet regime in Kiev.

Also in this NewsReal: the 7-year-long 'Deep State vs Trump' saga continues with the indictment of Trump over 'mishandled Top secret documents'. Will Trump go to prison? Not likely, but this will be hanging over him all through his re-election campaign next year.

But first up: ALIENS! A US national security state insider reveals that the US govt has been retrieving and back-engineering 'non-human' technology from crashed UFOs. A paradigm-shifting development, if true, but is this essentially more 'drip-drip-disclosure' towards some weird endgame involving as-yet-unseen US imperial goals?

SOTT Focus: Pedo U: University of Chile Approves 2 Theses Defending Pedophilia

university of chile
I wrote this partly as a way of venting the anger I feel, but at the same time it is also intended to share an event that shows the degree of human deterioration in which we are immersed.

Recently a great scandal was generated in Chile because two university theses were uncovered where the students who had written them defended and legitimized pedophilia. These theses were written by a student of pedagogy and another who was studying in one of these new departments that give degrees in something related to gender studies. The most alarming aspect of the event is that both theses were approved by the evaluating academics and consequently both students obtained their degrees. One of them is now qualified to teach children and adolescents.

In a YouTube video, now removed, Agustín Laje discusses the theses, reading and analyzing fragments from one of them (with quite good sense in my opinion). Some excerpts follow for those who do not understand Spanish.

The first thesis (that of the pedagogy student) is entitled "The denied desire of the pedagogue: to be a pedophile". The author's name is Mauricio Ernesto Quiroz Muñoz and he is an LGBT activist. In simple words, according to this quasi-human individual, the denied desire of the pedagogue, the teacher, the professor or the teaching expert, is to be a pedophile.

Comment: That this comes from Universidad de Chile is no surprise. It's a wretched, leftist hive of scum and villainy. Everything goes there, from the support for communism, covid fascism, vegetarianism, gender theories, and of course support for pedophilia as a logical consequence. If there are no biological differences between a male and a female, there are fewer differences between an adult and a child. Their minds are distorted beyond repair, and nothing good can come from such places.

SOTT Focus: Twenty Grim Realities Unearthed by Lockdowns

hydra-headed snake
It's common now to speak of the before times in contrast to the after times. The turning point was of course March 16, 2020, the day of 15 Days to Flatten the Curve, though authoritarian trends predate that. Rights were suddenly broadly throttled, even religious rights. We were told to conduct every aspect of our lives in accordance with the priorities of the bio-medical security state.

Very few people anticipated such a shocking development. It was the onset of a new state-conducted war and the enemy was something we could not see and hence could be anywhere. No one has ever doubted the omnipresence of potentially dangerous pathogens but now we were being told that life itself depended entirely on avoidance of them and the only guide going forward would be public-health authorities.

Everything changed. Nothing is the same. The trauma is real and lasting. The claim of "15 Days" was revealed to be a ruse. The emergency lasted three years and then some. The people and machinery that did this are still in power. The pick to head the CDC has a long track record of enabling and cheering the lockdowns and all that followed.

It's a helpful exercise to summarize the new things we've all discovered in these years. Together they account for why the world seems different and why we all feel and think differently now than we did just a few years ago.

SOTT Focus: Intel Officials Say US Has Retrieved Craft of Non-Human Origin

David Charles Grusch
David Charles Grusch
A former intelligence official turned whistleblower has given Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General extensive classified information about deeply covert programs that he says possess retrieved intact and partially intact craft of non-human origin.

The information, he says, has been illegally withheld from Congress, and he filed a complaint alleging that he suffered illegal retaliation for his confidential disclosures, reported here for the first time.

Other intelligence officials, both active and retired, with knowledge of these programs through their work in various agencies, have independently provided similar, corroborating information, both on and off the record.

The whistleblower, David Charles Grusch, 36, a decorated former combat officer in Afghanistan, is a veteran of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). He served as the reconnaissance office's representative to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force from 2019-2021. From late 2021 to July 2022, he was the NGA's co-lead for UAP analysis and its representative to the task force.

Comment: The US DoD is, slowly-slowly, opening up on "UAPs" (formerly known as UFOs). Prepare yourself for the biggest mind-job in the history of the human species. Watch, listen and, most importantly, don't believe a word you see or hear.

SOTT Focus: MindMatters: The Road Best Traveled: Ernst Jünger's Forest Passage

ernst junger
What is freedom? Where may it be found and accessed? How does it become actualized from within the individual? And if we are to become free - then what are we to be free from? In this second discussion of Ernst Jünger's seminal book The Forest Passage we follow along with the author's many thoughts on what it means to be free. Concerning political bodies, the media, institutionalized medicine, and organized religion - what, if any, is the most fruitful approach to take in response to their diktats or guidelines? Where does free will, in the truest sense of the term, fit in to our responses? And if we are to face our fears and find a way to resist the tide of totalitarianism how should one approach the possible suffering that will likely be involved?

With the heart of a poet, and the mind of a realist, Ernst Jünger has given us much to ponder as we reflect on what he means by becoming a 'forest rebel'. Join us this week on MindMatters as we delve further into his world view, and a road from which we may find a path to the future.
