In this episode of Objective:Health we highlight some of the resistance we've seen to the medical tyranny that has descended on us under the guise of a deadly pandemic. Whether in the form of lawsuits, class action suits, standing up to employers mandating vaccination for their employees, or just everyday citizens resisting mask mandates or quarantine measures, it's heartening to see individuals fighting back, standing their ground and generally resisting the infringement of their rights by an out-of-control authoritarian state.

While governments, corporations or employers in general may believe they have the right to dictate our right to free movement, forced medical procedures, right to employment or rights to free association, there are citizens who have had enough and are fighting back against the monolithic machine attempting to lock us in our homes to die a slow death.

As Benjamin Franklin said "Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." And while there are those attempting to force that choice on us, the ability to resist has yet to be completely extinguished. Join us on this episode as we look at some of the inspiring stories of ordinary people fighting back.

I asked Mattias Desmet, Psychotherapist and Professor of Clinical Psychology at Ghent University, how this is possible, what the consequences are, and what we can expect in the future.

Almost a year after the start of the corona crisis, how is the mental health of the population?

MD: For the time being, there are few figures that show the evolution of possible indicators such as the intake of antidepressants and anxiolytics or the number of suicides. But it is especially important to place mental well-being in the corona crisis in its historical continuity. Mental health had been declining for decades. There has long been a steady increase in the number of depression and anxiety problems and the number of suicides. And in recent years there has been an enormous growth in absenteeism due to psychological suffering and burnouts. The year before the corona outbreak, you could feel this malaise growing exponentially. This gave the impression that society was heading for a tipping point where a psychological 'reorganization' of the social system was imperative. This is happening with corona. Initially, we noticed people with little knowledge of the virus conjure up terrible fears, and a real social panic reaction became manifested. This happens especially if there is already a strong latent fear in a person or population.

As if it were a replay of the fiasco that went on with hydroxychloroquine, the establishment media, social media and governments have been collectively censoring information about a drug shown to be highly effective against Covid-19: Ivermectin.

The studies on the drug are nothing short of astounding - more effective than any drug or intervention previously studied. Yet YouTube felt justified in banning videos of congress testimony about the drug, Twitter has blocked links to a peer-reviewed medical journal that had the audacity to publish a study on the drug and the corporate media have been full of articles about the 'dangers' of this drug - despite the fact that it's been approved by the FDA (unlike Covid vaccines) and has been used safely for the last 5 decades.

In 1985, greater Los Angeles and San Francisco were struck with an ever-growing list of brutal murders, rapes and robberies of dozens of individuals, including children. The crimes shocked and terrified not only the families of the victims and the communities where the crimes took place - but also captured national attention - as the viciousness and malevolence involved in these acts were made public. The range of victims, and multiple MOs, stumped investigators and suggested that the serial killer involved was capable of almost anything.

This week on MindMatters we discuss the chilling story of Richard Ramirez AKA 'The Night Stalker,' as told in a new documentary on Netflix titled Night Stalker: The Hunt For a Serial Killer. Was Ramirez 'born' or 'made' into the the monster he became, what influenced him psychologically, and what about his very biology may have helped shape him into the serial killer he became? We also look at the effects Ramirez's acts had on the families of the victims, the investigators involved in tracking him down, and the 'larger than life' strangeness that permeates the entire story. Though stories like the Ramirez's are rare, this tale is an awful reminder that individuals like him do exist, and we'd do well to remember that many of them, unlike Ramirez, appear to be quite normal on the surface. Canadian Father Jailed For Referring to His 'Gender-transitioning' 14-year-old Daughter as 'She' and 'Her'

There is a man in Canada who can only be alluded to as He Who Shall Not Be Named: Robert Hoogland. For the sake of natural justice, it is important to speak this man's name. He is now the Canadian state's prison of conscience.

The warrant was issued by a judge for the arrest of a father for calling his biological female child his "daughter," and referring to her with the pronouns "she" and "her."

Hoogland is a father to a gender non-conforming biological female 14-year-old who identifies as transgender and prefers the use of male pronouns. Hoogland has repeatedly called this person his daughter, though the court has forbade it.

On Tuesday at 10 am Vancouver time, Hoogland surrendered himself to the court in response to the Attorney General of British Columbia's warrant for his arrest for contempt. He was then arrested and jailed. The warrant was issued by Judge Tammen on March 4, 2021.

Comment: This is precisely why Dr Jordan Peterson warned about the dangers of Canada's C-16 Bill when it was being drafted in 2016.

Objective:Health: Celebrity Health Advice - Who's Allowed to Say What?

There's a certain level of satisfaction we tend to get from seeing celebrities get taken down a peg. Recently, Gwyneth Paltrow was scolded by the NHS for giving advice they didn't like about treating long Covid. Fair enough - Gwyneth can talk about how she's dealing with long Covid and the NHS can tell everyone her advice is bunk. Freedom of speech, and all that.

But the director of the NHS, Prof Stephen Powis in a statement not-so-sublty called on social media to censor celebrities from reporting on what they're doing for their health issues (specifically for Covid). This is where the problem comes in.

Do celebrities not have the right to tell people what they're doing for their health, be it for Covid, cancer or even general well-being? Are we not responsible adults making our own choices, with the right to whatever information we choose to consume? Do the rules change when the person is famous? What about for paid sponsors of health products?

The Madness of Zero Covid

Some days Scotland is aiming for a 'Zero Covid' strategy. Some days it's aiming to 'eliminate' the virus SARS-CoV-2.

And some days, it seems we have no plan at all.

Professor Devi Sridhar, a most trusted adviser to the Scottish Government, openly muses about 'Zero Covid', qualifying what she means in various ways. Recently she wrote that when she said we should strive for 'Zero Covid', she meant 'endemic virus'. These are not the same things.

On the 10th March, Nicola Sturgeon stated in Parliament that we must 'eliminate' Covid. Someone needs to challenge her to define 'eliminate'.

The first rule of the management of any project is: determine and define your aim. When the project might destroy all the economic and social structures of your nation, establishing a clear aim seems an important place to start.

Until 2020/21, 'endemic' status of viruses has always come about with time and gathering high enough levels of community immunity through exposure.

Comment: 'Zero Covid' is official government policy in Ireland too. It's unscientific, it's destructive, and it's being sold to politicians by people with highly disturbing psychological profiles:

Ireland's 'Zero Covid' experts, citing notorious US political radical Saul Alinsky, want to 'crush, control, and chase' the virus out of Ireland...

As we've all been told (ad nauseum) since the pandemic began, Covid policies are informed by "the science" and the scientists who proffer those policies to governments, who then impose them on the population. A distinction should, however, always be made between science and scientists. The former is a process, the latter are ordinary people with their own biases, agendas and, sometimes, disturbing psychological profiles, as we shall see.

With its current total lockdown set to enter a fourth month, and no end in sight, Ireland stands out as the nation whose government has implemented the most draconian response on the planet to SARS-CoV-2 - certainly in Europe.

While the Irish government has its own scientific advisory group on this virus ('NPHET' - National Public Health Emergency Team), most public statements on SARS-CoV-2 and the need for lockdowns have been made by a group called 'ISAG' - Independent Scientific Advisory Group. Founded in June 2020 by Dr. Anthony Staines, Professor of Health Systems at Dublin College University, Gerry Killeen of University College Cork, and Tomás Ryan, associate Professor at the School of Biochemistry and Immunology at Trinity College Dublin, ISAG claims to be "independent of government" while it actively and successfully lobbies government ministers to push ISAG's policies. Other notable group members include Northern Irish public health physician Gabriel Scally, and Irish doctor Sam McConkey.

The Covid Pandemic has hit the UK and Ireland hardest (though not because of the coronavirus)

When the prescient George Orwell wrote, "People will, in fact, have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it" back in 1949, I don't believe that a war-weary population anywhere in the world, captivated by their recently threatened democracy and infatuated with freedom, could have imagined his words would one day carry weight. Fast forward to 2021 and the only criticism we can give to his prediction is that it was an understatement.

Perhaps though, Orwell was not so much a great prophet as he was someone who had looked at recent history in Germany and envisioned that the events would repeat themselves elsewhere in the years to come. It was only 16 years before he wrote those famous words that the Reichstag was burned down. What ensued was a plea from the masses for the eradication of liberties. The German people, with their irrational fear of a Communist takeover, begged the Nazi Party to remove their freedom of speech, restrict their freedom of movement and delete their freedom of the press. Adolf Hitler, naturally, granted them their wishes. Now replace the words 'irrational fear of a Communist takeover' with 'irrational fear of a virus' and we see that, in reality, little has changed.

Many today are not just enjoying the removal of their liberties, but they are begging for more. They are addicted to their new-found servitude. A recent survey conducted in the UK showed that when people were asked if they would miss lockdown measures, should they be terminated, more than half stated that they would miss some or many aspects of them.

Objective:Health - Holocaust 2.0 - Vaccine Deaths on the Rise in Multiple Countries

While the corporate news is silent on the issue, alternative news sources have been reporting on the disturbing data coming out of Israel regarding the Pfizer Covid vaccine causing a large increase in reported deaths. An analysis done by Dr. Hervé Seligmann and Haim Yativ had them conclude that Pfizer's shot causes "mortality hundreds of times greater in young people compared to mortality from coronavirus, and dozens of times more in the elderly." In other words, the cure is worse than the disease - by a long shot. The authors referred to this as "a new Holocaust".

And Israel isn't the only country with data like this coming to light. The British enclave of Gibraltar, home to 33 thousand residents jumped to the worst Covid-19 mortality in the world after introducing the Pfizer vaccine, jumping from merely 9 deaths to almost 100. Similar patterns are emerging from the UAE, Jordan and even the UK, which showed a 48% rise in infections after the first dose of Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines.
