Dozens of Triangular UFOs Seen Over Warsaw

On 20th January 2007 between 1 and 2 am. about 17 unidentified triangular objects appeared in the sky above Polish capital city district of Sluzec. According to the witness, Mrs. Jolanta Z. [53], triangular objects scattered in the sky remained in her view for over an hour, slowly rising up and finally disappearing.

At about 1:15 am. the woman living in a block [in vicinity of a airport Okecie] in Mokotow district, Mrs. Jolanta Z., woke up to smoke a cigarette. At one moment her attention was drawn by a light visible in the sky. The woman who is accustomed with view of landing planes after a while noticed strange behavior of the object that seemed to be suspended in the sky.

When she approached the window, she was amazed with a sight of a dozen of triangular objects. The woman claims that at first she was able to see 17 or 18 identical objects in shape of isosceles triangles scattered in the sky [with their "beaks" pointing eastward]. One of them [located in the southern part of the sky] was noticeably bigger [the witness estimated that it was in dimension of 3 smaller objects].

Global team searches for UFOs

Larimer County man directs a global team of 400 investigators who look into reports of UFOs

Bellvue - James Carrion will often look up at the stars shining over his hilltop home near this Larimer County community and wonder who or what is watching.

"I think they know I'm looking for them," said the 41-year-old former Army intelligence officer.

Carrion is international director of the Mutual UFO Network, one of the largest groups in the world dedicated to examining sightings of unidentified flying objects and otherworldly phenomena.

FOIA declassified documents - A Treasure Trove

The linked website archives a collection of documents, some of them were formerly secret or confidential, they were all declassified because of the Freedom Of Information Act.

The Freedom of Information Act (F.O.I.A) is an American law that allows members of the public to obtain copies of classified documents by having all or parts of the documents declassified by order of a federal judge. The judge may refuse the declassification of a document if it is necessary for the document to remain classified because it affects national security. At least, that is in theory. In practice it has been very unreliable, if one group requests for a set of documents and gets them, it does not necessarily mean that a second group will be able to get them. If the government denies they have got the documents that you are looking for, they may not be telling the truth. It has been known for a government agency to deny that it has ANY documents on an incident yet release it some months later.

Debunkery: The Reality of Recent UFO Sightings

America has seen a spate of alleged UFO sightings in recent weeks and months. Eyewitnesses in Arizona, Illinois, Arkansas, North Carolina, and other states have reported seeing mysterious lights and objects in the sky.

Among the sightings:
  • In November 2006, United Airlines employees reported seeing a large, dark, "saucer-shaped" craft over a terminal at Chicago's O'Hare airport. It hovered for a while, then suddenly rose and shot up into the sky.
  • In January 2007, multiple eyewitnesses reported seeing a formation of mysterious bright lights in the sky over western Arkansas, moving too slowly to be aircraft.
  • Similar lights were reported this week over Phoenix.

Strange Sightings In North Carolina Skies

Are the makings of a Sci-Fi movie happening in the Piedmont-Triad?

There have been strange reports about flying objects in the skies -- and some people think they're UFOs.

WXII 12's Nicole Ducouer spoke to a Kernersville man who said he captured an object on his cell phone.

Jamarus Crews said he was sitting in his Farmwood Garden Apartment when he saw something in the sky. It had lots of lights and made no noise, he said.

Wilkes County's Charles Miller said he also caught an image of an object.

Comment: Sure, people are seeing all kinds of strange lights in the sky recently all over the world, but don't worry - they aren't UFOs, they're just a whole lot of bolides that are supposed to be rarely seen...

Armed Forces reveal UFO presence in Chile

More than 1,000 enthusiasts and experts gathered in Viña del Mar on Tuesday and Wednesday this week for the Tenth International Ufology Conference, organized by the Chile's Ufology Investigation Group (Aion). The highlight of the meeting was a display of photographs taken by members of Chile's Armed Forces.

Ufology is the study of unidentified flying objects, or UFOs. While many ufology experts feel that the field is not taken seriously by scientists, participants at the conference in Viña del Mar said the presence of several members of the armed forces added legitimacy to the proceedings. Rodrigo Fuenzalida, director of Aion, said the military presence was important because of the well-known objectivity of their reports and the advanced technology that can be used to back up their observations.

Mysterious Lights Spotted Over Phoenix, Again

Phoenix, Arizona - Nearly a decade after the highly publicized 'Phoenix Light Phenomenon', more strange lights have appeared in the night sky over downtown Phoenix.

A still shot from video of the lights in formation over Phoenix, Arizona.

Tuesday night, mysterious lights lit up the western skies over Phoenix and soon after, phones began ringing off the hook at radio, television and police stations from witnesses wondering what the lights were.

The Yuma Marine Base claims it has the answer. Base officials said the amber-colored flares came from training flights on the Goldwater Gunnery Range. They went on to explain that the amber flares are used as targets.

Comment: Yep, I can imagine finding it hard to believe you're watching 'flares' when you see the thing move along in the sky for a long distance, in perfect formation. Well, at least they didn't call it 'swamp gas' or 'cloud formations' this time.

Dozens of UFOs sighted over Islington - Stopped Traffic

Dozens of mysterious lights were spotted hovering in the sky above Archway - spreading panic among residents below.

Unidentified flying orange objects stopped traffic and left residents staring skyward in disbelief at around 5.30pm on Thursday.

Islington police received four calls within a matter of minutes.

Witness Alix McAlister, 34, a market stall trader from Bredgar Road, Archway, said: "I just picked up my son from nursery in Bredgar Road. I had just come out of the door when I noticed what was going on in the sky.

"There were a group of them - 10 to 15 of them moving together. My first impression was that they reminded me of a squadron of aeroplanes in formation. But they didn't have a proper formation and they were all moving at the same speed.
