Not a day goes by without news of UFOs or some other paranormal events. While residents of the United States are scratching their heads over a snake-like UFO that was again spotted by a YouTuber, residents of Kalininets in the Moscow region are trying to figure out what a black circular thing floating in the sky for half an hour on 28 September was.

Kalininets is located in the Naro-Fominsk district, which is home to the 4th Tank Division. Some users thought the ring could have appeared as a result of military exercises or could be the product of chemical activities. One Instagram user sent a photo dating back to 2004, which shows the same black ring. The photo prompted speculation of an impending doomsday.

Other users were more positive and claimed that someone in the sky was apparently playing tic-tac-toe.

The United States Space Force is a proposed space warfare service branch of the US Armed Forces, which is intended to have control over military space operations.

And a newly emerged clip has conspiracists believing the force may have already been implemented.

Three videos appearing to show encounters between US Navy aircraft and UFOs are real, the service has admitted, while insisting the clips merely show so far "unexplained aerial phenomena" and were never cleared for public release.

Bow hunters Josh Brinkley and Daniel Lucero, dressed in camouflage gear, looked a little uncomfortable sitting in chairs at a local newspaper.

The Santa Fe County residents had just come into Taos after several days in rugged terrain near Cerro de la Olla, also called Pot Mountain, northwest of town near Ute Mountain.

They had a strange tale to tell and they weren't sure of their reception.

"We're a couple of guys that don't believe in much, but we believe now," Brinkley said.

They went hunting for elk.

They encountered aliens or something else so strange they don't know what to call it.

The UFO hunter argued that no one on Earth would risk flying an aircraft that close to a volcano's mouth, not to mention that the object he saw allegedly uses some kind of alien cloaking technology.

Prolific hunter of elusive alien spacecraft Scott C. Waring, who previously reported findings such as the "Mona Lisa of Mars" and an alleged underwater alien base, has come up with yet another bold claim, insisting that he detected "an unknown object flying through the plume of smoke" over the Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico.

As Waring explained in his blog ET Data Base, he made this discovery while watching a live volcano cam when he spotted the object in question, which has "no wings, tail or contrail," and which looked like a white disk "with a dark hump at its lower center."

When the first dead bull turned up at the end of July, it didn't raise an alarm at the Silvies Valley Ranch.

Cattle sometimes die suddenly on the ranch's 140,000 acres in Harney County — struck by disease or felled by a broken leg and unable to find a way out of the rugged, forested terrain.

But by the time ranch hands discovered four more dead bulls within 24 hours, they knew they were likely dealing with deliberate, premeditated killings.

They're still baffled by the circumstances. There were no wounds. No signs of a struggle. And the bulls' genitals and tongues had been carefully removed.

The killing and mutilation of the 4 and 5-year-old Hereford bulls in the prime of their productive lives has since spurred a multi-agency investigation in eastern Oregon, but detectives have turned up no leads and haven't yet even settled on a cause of death.

"How somebody put these bulls on the ground at what would be arguably a fairly close range — and to do it in a way that didn't leave any signs, no trace evidence, no footprints, no struggle marks from the animal, no broken limbs — I have no idea," said Colby Marshall, vice president of the Silvies Valley Ranch.

The mystery deepens because there's no obvious reason someone would want those animal parts. They aren't prime targets for black market sales, authorities said.

The deaths are eerily similar to a rash of livestock killings and mutilations across the West in the 1970s, when hundreds of cows and bulls turned up dead, also of seemingly unknown causes and with their genitals and tongues missing.

Back then, theories ran the gamut from a government conspiracy and UFOs to natural deaths and scavengers. Today, the circumstances at Silvies Valley Ranch point to humans as the probable culprits because of the precise cuts on the bulls.

The massive, multi-agency search for two firefighters who didn't return from a fishing trip off the coast of Florida last week will be called off at sundown Thursday, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Brian McCluney, a firefighter with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, and Justin Walker, a firefighter with the Fairfax, Virginia, fire department, didn't return home Friday as expected after taking a 24-foot fishing boat out near Port Canaveral.

More than 20 agencies, including the Coast Guard, the Navy, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations, the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were involved in the 105,000-square-mile search for the two men. Volunteers were also searching on the land, from the air, and in the water.

An international team of researchers, led by Professor Neil Gemmell from the University of Otago, went searching for DNA from the famous 226-metre deep lake in Scotland in 2018.

That DNA was extracted from 250 water samples taken at various locations from the lake, and was then sequenced and analysed against existing databases.

The findings will be revealed at a press conference at Drumnadrochit, on the shores of Loch Ness, on September 5.

UFOs have been in the news a lot lately, and not because of what is happening in the sky, but because of what is happening on Earth. It has been called a "soft disclosure," meaning the military is leaking bits of information on UFOs to the public rather than making a major announcement and causing a panic.

This April, the U.S. Navy acknowledged guidelines for how their pilots can report encounters with anomalous ships without fear of reprisal. This comes after a New York Times article about numerous sightings of Tic Tac-shaped UFOs around the USS Nimitz south of San Diego. According to a spokesman for naval operations, there has been an overall "uptick of interaction with aerial phenomenon" since 2014. There have been less controlled responses, too. Over two million people have signed up on Facebook to storm Area 51 on September 20 to "see them aliens."

Santa Barbara County is no stranger to sightings and played a part in the famous Battle of Los Angeles. Two days after the Japanese shelled the Ellwood Pier near Goleta in 1942, and just a few months after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, a giant ship appeared over Los Angeles. According to UFO researcher David Marler in his book Triangular Ships, it was first spotted over Santa Maria before heading south on an inland path. Already jittery, and thinking it was the Japanese, the U.S. military fired 1,440 anti-aircraft shells on the mysterious ship. The Japanese denied having any planes over the U.S. The event has never been fully explained, though a referral to weather balloons was made.

Multiple UFOs sightings have been reported since the atomic bomb was developed in the 1940s. Yet there have been no reports of actual attacks or threats to wipe out our civilization. In fact, according to many who have studied UFOs, extraterrestrials have worked to stop us from self-annihilation. They point to three alleged incidents of UFOs shutting down our nuclear missile bases. In 1967, Lieutenant Robert Salas, a commanding officer at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, reported that a hovering UFO disabled 10 missile silos on his watch. He said he saw it as an anti-nuclear war message.
