High Strangeness
The RAF closed down its 'UFO desk' in 2009 after 50 years of reports in which no serious threat was identified. Records from this RAF unit were traditionally sent to the National Archives, where they were kept as classified documents.
Now, however, the most recent reports will be placed in an online archive on a dedicated gov.uk page, according to a Freedom of Information request submitted by the PA news agency.
"It had been assessed that it would be better to publish these records, rather than continue sending documents to the National Archives, and so they are looking to put them onto a dedicated gov.uk web page," a spokesperson for the RAF said.

Tales of the curious creature in the British Columbia lake date all the way back to the 19th century but no concrete evidence has ever been discovered.
Outdoor enthusiast Blake Neudorf believes he and his father finally found some while fishing off a dock in the town of Kelowna.
Seen floating over Lahore on Tuesday, the "evil cloud" - as some have taken to calling it - left onlookers perplexed, many of whom took to social media to try to get to the bottom of what they had just witnessed.

This infamous video of the USS Nimitz UFO encounter may not be the only one out there...
In response to a recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, a spokesperson from the Navy's Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) confirmed that the agency possesses several top-secret documents and at least one classified video pertaining to the 2004 UFO encounter, Vice reported.
According to the ONI spokesperson, these documents were either labeled "SECRET" or "TOP SECRET" by the agencies that provided them, and that sharing the information with the public "would cause exceptionally grave damage to the National Security of the United States."

Police were seen early Saturday afternoon removing a body from a large lake that is adjacent to the Fort Lauderdale Westin, located at 400 Corporate Drive.
Authorities later confirmed that the deceased woman was Kelly Glover, who was in South Florida on business and staying at the Westin.
Glover's husband, Adam Bremer, told Local 10 News on Friday that her disappearance was very bizarre.
"Her friend went to bed early (Wednesday)," Bremer said. "My wife was still up. Her friend woke up around 4 a.m. (Thursday), and my wife was nowhere to be found, and the door was left open."
Sheriff's offices in Lincoln, Washington and Sedgwick counties have been getting calls this week about the unknown winged devices after initial reports came out of Phillips and Yuma counties, sheriffs said.
The drones reportedly have 6-foot wingspans and fly between 7 and 10 p.m. in gridlike patterns 150 to 200 feet in the air in groups of six to 10, the Denver Post reported.
Yuma County Sheriff Todd Combs said in a Facebook post Tuesday that the drones are flying in airspace controlled by the federal government, however, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Army Forces Command said they don't have any information.
Comment: Business Insider adds that the drones appear in giant swarms and have been flying every night for the past week over Phillips and Yuma Counties. The drones appear and disappear at roughly the same time each night in swarms of at least 17 and up to 30 and appear to measure about 6 feet across.
"It was pretty bright, it was about straight up over here, and it went straight that way, stopped, and it didn't seem like it was too far," said DJ Maier and Kerri Burnett, describing what they saw.
The couple says they spotted the phenomenon outside their Mesa home on Sunday around nine that night.
They say the object seemed to come from the southeast.
Quintal's body was discovered Saturday near a dam roughly 300 yards from the Honor, Mich., cabin she vanished from on Oct. 17.
The day Quintal disappeared, the single mom made a desperate call to family members, claiming two men were outside the cabin shooting while she was indoors.
Benzie County Undersheriff Kyle Rosa told local station WPBN Monday that the results of an initial examination of the body seem to indicate otherwise.

That's not the kind of comment one hears on U.S. mainstream media news programs but things are obviously different in Russia, where GRTK.TV covered an expedition to the Republic state of Bashkortostan in southwestern Russia after Bigfoot experts could not explain a video they received from the area showing what looked to them like a female Bigfoot. While the U.S. is becoming more skeptical of political news out of Russia, should it listen to its Bigfoot news?
"This, I think, is the second such case in the world. So convincing. Because it is clear that this creature is running. Moreover, when we studied the freeze frames, I saw there at one turn a bulge - this is a woman's chest. Do you understand? This is a female."GRTK.TV followed Igor Burtsev, head of the Moscow office of the International Center for Homology, to the Birsky District in northern Bashkortostan (also known as Bashkiria) to investigate what it calls an "amazing and even shocking" video allegedly taken in 2016 by three girls and a young man driving a Zhiguli (a famous and awful car built by the Soviet Union, more commonly known as the Lada). This was an old car (the last one was built in 2014 so it was probably smoking and lurching) and the passengers sounded pretty scared by what the claimed was chasing them. Comment: Here's the company behind the book, apparently Canadian. The gender-bender agenda literally wishes that demons 'step in' and take over humanity...
A group of international exorcists has raised the alarm about a new children's book teaching kids how to interact with and summon demons, saying the publication is not only a spiritual threat, but is a disguised attempt to lure young people into satanism.
"You don't mess around with demons. Whoever invites a child to summon a demon is like a person who puts a grenade in their hands to play with. Sooner or later the child will pull the pin and the bomb will explode in their hands," the International Association of Exorcists said in a statement last week.
"Whoever invites a child to summon a demon is telling them that it's possible to get help from a criminal to get something. Whoever invites a child to summon a demon is causing them to lose their identity and to be morally, psychologically and spiritually destroyed," they said, adding that those who invite children to summon demons are already "an 'ally' of the demons."
