Numerous residents of the Hawaiian island of Oahu have been left scratching their heads after a mysterious, glowing, unidentified flying object was spotted both in the sky and in the water.

Multiple witnesses reported the strange sighting to local law enforcement on Tuesday night but officials from the United States' Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) say there were no incidents or accidents involving aircraft in the area at the time.

Some of the bystanders managed to capture footage of the peculiar occurrence, which showed the luminous blue object traveling through the air. In one of the recordings a woman can be heard saying, "Something is in the sky. What is that?"

An unidentified flying object spotted in the evening sky over Leeward Oahu prompted witnesses to call 911 on Tuesday.

The sighting happened about 8:30 p.m.

There are multiple videos of what appears to be a glowing' oblong mass — both in the sky and in the water.

Officials from the Federal Aviation Administration say there were no aircraft incidents or accidents in this area at the time. But multiple witnesses reported seeing a large blue object fall out of the sky and into the ocean.

In a one video a woman can be heard saying, "Something is in the sky. What is that?"

Misitina Sape told Hawaii News Now she captured the image at 8:26 p.m. near Haleakala Avenue in Nanakuli.

Former Obama-era CIA director John Brennan has described the declassified Pentagon UFO videos as "eyebrow-raising" and has said they should be treated with an open mind.

"I've seen some of those videos from Navy pilots, and I must tell you that they are quite eyebrow-raising when you look at them," Brennan said in a recent interview at George Mason University's Mercatus Center.

Among the several recently-declassified videos was the so-called 'tic tac' craft captured on camera by Navy pilots in 2004 performing neck breaking and apparently physics defying maneuvers 100 miles off the Pacific shore. Brennan was careful not to confirm nor deny the existence of aliens, but struck a curious tone.

In an exclusive feature for The Debrief, U.S. military and intelligence officials, as well as Pentagon emails, offer an unprecedented glimpse behind the scenes of what's currently going on with The Pentagon's investigation into UFOs, or as they term them, "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena" (UAP).

For the last two years, the Department of Defense's newly revamped "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force" (or UAPTF) has been busy briefing lawmakers, Intelligence Community stakeholders, and the highest levels of the U.S. military on encounters with what they say are mysterious airborne objects that defy conventional explanations.

Along with classified briefings, multiple senior U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the matter say two classified intelligence reports on UAP have been widely distributed to the U.S. Intelligence Community. Numerous sources from various government agencies told The Debrief that these reports include clear photographic evidence of UAP. The reports also explicitly state that the Task Force is considering the possibility that these unidentified objects could, as stated by one source from the U.S. Intelligence Community said, be operated by "intelligences of unknown origin."

Significantly, a retired U.S. Air Force brigadier general and head of RAND corporation's Space Enterprise Initiative has — for the first time — gone on record to discuss some of the most likely explanations for UAP. His responses were surprising.

Prof. Haim Eshed served from 1981 to 2010 as the head of Israel's security space program and over the years received the Israel Security Award three times, twice for confidential technological inventions. So if he went nuts, and this possibility is always open, it had to have happened over the past decade. And the reason we think the good professor may have lost his marbles has to do with an interview he gave 7 Days, the Shabbat edition of Yedioth Aharonoth, Israel's largest circulation for-pay newspaper, in which he says, "The aliens have asked not to announce that they are here, humanity is not ready yet."

Prof. Eshed told Yedioth, among other things:

The UFOs have asked not to publish that they are here, humanity is not ready yet. Trump was on the verge of revealing, but the aliens in the Galactic Federation are saying: Wait, let people calm down first. They don't want to start mass hysteria. They want to first make us sane and understanding.

They have been waiting for humanity to evolve and reach a stage where we will generally understand what space and spaceships are. There's an agreement between the US government and the aliens. They signed a contract with us to do experiments here. They, too, are researching and trying to understand the whole fabric of the universe, and they want us as helpers. There's an underground base in the depths of Mars, where their representatives are, and also our American astronauts.

If I had come up with what I'm saying today five years ago, I would have been hospitalized. Wherever I've gone with this in academia, they've said: the man has lost his mind. Today they're already talking differently. I have nothing to lose. I've received my degrees and awards, I am respected in universities abroad, where the trend is also changing.

To those of us who have grown up following the history-altering warp flight of Zefram Cochrane, which was witnessed by a Vulcan spaceship and soon enough began Earth's acceptance into the more evolved planets of our galaxy, Prof. Eshed's teachings are familiar, even trite, with one important proviso: we know Cochrane is a fictional character (born in 2013 or 2030, Star Trek is not a very organized universe). Eshed may not be distinguishing so good between reality and fiction.

The Debrief has learned of the leak of an unclassified photo, said to have been widely distributed in the Intelligence Community, which purportedly shows what the DoD has characterized as "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena."

On Wednesday, The Debrief reported on two classified intelligence reports issued by The Pentagon's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF).

The Debrief learned of the existence of the photograph from a defense official who has been verified as being in a position to have access to the UAPTF intelligence reports. Additionally, the same two officials with the DoD, and one from the U.S. Intelligence community with whom we previously spoke, confirmed that the leaked image is the same photo provided in a 2018 intelligence position report issued by the UAPTF.

A terrifying new report has revealed that a Boeing 737 passenger jet came seconds from disaster during a close call with an unidentified flying object as the plane was preparing to land at a UK airport.

The just-released report into the incident, which took place on September 1 at Leeds Bradford airport, reveals that an unknown, luminous object came within three metres (10 feet) of the plane as it prepared to touch down.

The 'Category A' event was only just confirmed by the UK Airprox Board, a near-miss monitoring agency.

Manuel Navarette of UFO Clearinghouse recently received the following report from a woman who said she'd seen a seven-foot-tall, red-eyed creature after leaving work at the United States Postal Service (USPS) sorting facility in Chicago's O'Hare International Airport at around 11 pm on Thursday, September 24th.

I had just left work at the USPS Sorting Facility at O'Hare Airport at about 11:00 pm on Thursday the 24th of September and was walking out to my car when I saw something standing at the far end of the parking [lot] where I usually park . At first I thought it was a very tall person with a long coat. As I got closer to my car, I unlocked my car, which caused my headlights to come on. My headlights hit the person standing about 20 to 25 feet from my car causing it to turn and look right at me.

I saw that this was not some person but some red-eyed [creature], and what appeared to be a coat were actually wings which it spread out as it turned to look at me. At first I thought it was some kind of very, very large bird, but I've never seen any bird that stood almost seven feet tall. I'm 5'4" and this thing looked taller than me by at least two feet. This thing then started making some type of chirping sound, almost a half chirp and half click like someone was clicking their tongue but much much faster. It then made some type of screeching sound and took off running toward me, it got to within 10 feet of me and took off into the air and flew above me.
