England: Ghostbuster called in after sewage workers stalked by 'zombie' in underground tunnels

It sounds like something out of a Hollywood blockbuster. But staff at a sewage works have called in a ghostbuster because they are being stalked by a zombie-like figure who roams the underground tunnels.

Workers at Southern Water's treatment plant in Eastbourne, East Sussex, said they have been scared to enter tunnels after being followed about by a "humanoid figure" as they went about their jobs.

Mark Wey, a sewage treatment worker, got permission from his bosses to hire a paranormal investigator to launch an investigation into the sewage spirits.

Mr Wey hired parapsychologist Michael Kingscote who paid the tunnels a visit.

The clairvoyant said: "There seems to be one particular area that's giving people the creeps. People have seen and felt things."

US: UFO in the sky? Texas is one of the top three states for sightings

It was about 4 a.m. when a small but unusually bright light caught Derek Garcia's eye through the windshield of his red Pontiac Sunfire.

The 24-year-old was traveling down U.S. Highway 183 --between Cuero and Gonzales --on his way home from a New Year's party when he said he spotted a UFO in the cool, night sky.

"It reminded me of a planet or an airplane," the business care associate said. "But it never moved, so I knew it wasn't a plane."

As he leaned forward to change tracks on his CD player, though, the mysterious light shot into the sky and disappeared.

US: Jets chase UFOs -- what's new?

After tendering initial denials, the Air Force admitted it dispatched F-16s - 10 of them - into the Texas skies near Stephenville on the early evening of Jan. 8. The exercise was described as a routine training mission that had nothing to do with the fact that a gigantic UFO was in the area, that dozens saw it, and that the thing appeared to be headed toward restricted airspace around President Bush's Crawford ranch.

But military pilots do chase UFOs. It's a secret, but it's not. Like airborne missiles and unidentified submarines, UFOs are itemized suspects in flight manuals, and filing procedures are detailed under Communications Instructions for Reporting Vital Intelligence Sightings.

UK: UFO sighting in Bubbenhall nearly wrecked our car, say couple

Strange sightings of a spinning orange object shooting from the sky have been reported by a shocked Warwickshire couple.

Terrified Cliff and Carol Sheldon say the flashing orange mass nearly smashed into their car in Bubbenhall on Monday night.

They say it was cylindrical in shape, and about half the size of their Vauxhall Corsa.

The down-to-earth couple from Stretton-on-Dunsmore say they have always been sceptical about UFOs.

But the grandparents of-five are in no doubt about what they saw.

Their claims have been backed by a Warwick University professor with an interest in UFOs. He said they may have seen a meteorite, also known as a shooting star.

US: Orlando, Florida Man Records Video Of UFO Over Tampa

On January 20, 2008, three members of an independent hip-hop show crew, Movement Television, were on their way to a music event in Tampa, heading south on I-275, when they noticed something unusual in the sky to the west.

Driver Camdon Neville, an Orlando acoustic folk artist who goes by the stage name Clowd Nyne, was the first to notice the UFO in the early evening sky. Show producer and host Clifford Jeudy, who goes by the stage name Rebel Black, quickly grabbed the camera and began to tape for more than three minutes.

The video recorded shows an orange glow in the sky over Hillsborough County. At times, the streaking orange glow appears to be two separate 'fire balls.' The video was recorded on a mini-DV tape using a handheld Sony HD camera.

New UFO Sighting Reported In Stephenville Texas

Fired Reporter Angelia Joiner Sparks Conspiracy Theories

The truth may be out there, but, when it comes to UFO stories, it is sure hard to find. Conjecture breeds conspiracy theories. Any official denial can be labeled a cover-up. In the end, it often boils down to a he-said-she-said scenario.

Such is the case in Stephenville, Texas, a small, rural community thrust into the spotlight after several unexplained disturbances in January. Though that spotlight has now faded, the town remains altered. Some members of the community want to move on; others cannot let go. And some, if you believe them, say that UFOs are still there.
