Now there is a second photograph in the public domain that was allegedly taken during the O'Hare Airport UFO Sighting on November 7, 2006. I have posted a cropped image here. The first photograph is being called by a hoax by some, yet many are still claiming that it might be the real thing.

US: Sightings of mysterious giant bird continue in San Antonio, Texas

Loch Ness has its monster. Does San Antonio have one, too?

Strange sightings of a huge flying creature have been reported as recently as six months ago. Is it a monster or myth?

Guadalupe Cantu III was busy working his newspaper route, but he says the big news of that day 10 years ago flew right over his car. He says he's seen what most have not - an unidentified flying object, one that still scares him.

"We were afraid that it would come at us. So we stayed in the car till it passed this way," witness Guadalupe Cantu III said. "This thing's all feathers, all black. Much bigger than me. It looked at us. It had very stooped-up shoulders." The beast has been spotted from the Rio Grande Valley to the mountains of New Mexico.

US: Mysterious object seen flying near Cottonwood, Arizona

The unidentified flying object, described as a small rocket about two feet long and four inches in diameter, was reported over a Yavapai County neighborhood then landing near the Verde River.

However, searchers have combed the area southeast of Cottonwood and have found no evidence of any flying object, authorities said Friday.

"At this point, the search for the object has concluded," said Scott Reed, a spokesman for the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.

The rocket sighting was reported by two residents who live on Hogan Lane in Bridgeport, a community between Cottonwood and Cornville, Reed said. The color of the rocket was not reported.

UFOs spotted over Ontario, Canada

Scott Fraser has seen a few strange things in the night sky.

But he never had a camera with him.

That is until Sunday night at sunset, when four white oblong shapes burst like rockets over the western horizon, rose vertically some distance before whizzing south at high speed.

England: It's out there - 'strange ball of fire' UFO sightings grow

Penwith's ufo mystery deepened this week as further sightings of "fiery" objects in the night skies emerged - including one close encounter captured on film.

Unidentified flying objects have now been spotted over three West Cornwall towns in the past fortnight.

First to be seen by an amazed witness in Hayle were "fiery red/orange" objects flying at high altitude.

Now it has emerged that he is not alone - with perhaps dozens of other people in St Ives and Penzance reporting similar incidents.

Laura Husband of St Ives contacted The Cornishman after reading last week's report of the Hayle sighting.

UFO

Mysterious object is a return visitor to Liverpool

On the sunny afternoon of Wednesday July 25, Lee Jones of Anfield looked up from the back garden of his home and saw something which terrified and mesmerised him.

An enormous saucer-shaped craft emerged slowly from the cumulus clouds and hung in the sky.

The UFO was so large, a passing commercial airliner was dwarfed against it, leading Lee to estimate the unidentified craft's size as over a mile in diameter.

He ran in and fetched his wife and mother-in-law, and they too saw the gigantic circular craft - the colour of 'grey gun-metal' - hanging in the summer sky as clouds drifted over its surface, obscuring the mysterious visitor.

After about fifteen minutes of peeping out from the clouds, the UFO was nowhere to be seen.

US: Contact has begun; UFOs over Trout Lake, Washington

It's an exciting time at James Gilliland's ranch outside of Trout Lake - not because there's nearly daily sightings of flying saucers, that's been happening for years - but because a documentary about the sightings has just been released.

The movie is called Contact Has Begun, and Gilliland said last Saturday that it is expected to be showing in select theaters across the country. It's also available on DVD.

The documentary was filmed at Gilliland's ranch, a place called Sattva Sanctuary. The movie delves into Gilliland's life story and includes interviews with physicists and other experts who have visited the sanctuary and seen phenomena that they call "definitely off-world visitations."

Gilliland said the documentary is similar to What the Bleep Do We Know!? - a 2004 documentary filmed in Portland, Oregan, that blends science and spirituality.

England: Close encounters for the people of Redditch

People of Redditch beware - you're being watched!

Britain's ufologists are getting excited over four separate sightings this week of what they believe could be an alien space craft hovering over the Worcestershire town.

In each case, witnesses claim to have seen a long black, cylindrical object gliding in the sky just after 5pm on Tuesday evening.

The Redditch sighting is the latest in what ufologists claim has been a "bumper" year for UFOs in this country so far - with Birmingham proving a hot-spot.

Those who saw the Redditch UFO were struck by the fact that it had no wings or lights and made no sound before suddenly vanishing.

Contact International - an Oxford-based organisation dedicated to UFO research - believes the sighting may be a genuine close encounter of the first kind.
