Why does the government keep obstructing UFO transparency efforts?

censored
It's been nearly 27 years since I submitted my first Freedom of Information Act, or FOIA, request on UFOs. I was 15 years old at the time. That request unearthed a four-page Defense Intelligence Agency document detailing a 1976 event in which multiple UFOs shut off the communications and instrumentation panels of two separate Iranian F-4 Phantom jets. The advanced capabilities of these UFOs sparked my interest, and through the FOIA, I quickly discovered the incident was not an isolated one. I learned that there was much more to discover within official files.

My website, The Black Vault, showcases thousands of UFO files I've received from the government. The documents, overall, hint at a mysterious phenomenon the U.S. military and government have struggled to identify adequately for decades. Indeed, they appear to have often kept the public in the dark using various tactics to block legally or at least severely prohibit accessing some of these records that date back to the 1940s.

Fast forward to December 2017, and that secrecy seemed to be lifting. A former government intelligence officer, Luis Elizondo, came out of the shadows to talk about his work running a secret Pentagon UFO study. Politicians became interested, and legislation was passed mandating UFO research offices and congressional hearings. The intent was to get the public some answers.

Anyone with interest in the mystery was overjoyed that the government was taking it seriously, the military was taking action, and they were going to share their findings. At least, we thought they were going to share their findings.

Unfortunately, the transparency appears to have been a facade. Behind the scenes, something has been brewing for years. Even though politicians talked openly about what is now called Unidentified Aerial Phenomena/Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, or UAP, and the media seemed to take it more seriously, the government was working hard to lock down UAP-related information.

Keep watching the skies.

According to an organization known as the National UFO Reporting Center, two military jets engaged an object referred to as an "Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon" over Bad Axe early this month.

Witnesses reported watching a pair of F-16s engaged in a "dogfight" with an object they were unable to see as they moved a camper at the storage units across from the Bad Axe Meijer store on June 3.

Canadian MP Larry Maguire: UAPs are real, and Canada should take them seriously

With the news that Canada's Minister of Defence was briefed about the issue of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), it's time for parliamentarians and the government of Canada to take this issue seriously.

For decades, the public has been told claims about UAP (what were once called UFOs) are either banal or altogether nonsense. It is now apparent there is something very real going on — something that warrants high-level briefings from military leaders. This deserves legitimate inquiries, and it is time to demand action from our government departments. Moreover, it's time for them to engage with the scientific community in an open and transparent manner.

The greatest barrier to better understanding the phenomena is the stigma surrounding it. It is encouraging to see this begin to subside and allow the topic to be both publicly acknowledged and studied.

American senators and members of Congress have shown greater willingness to seek information, ask questions and engage the public in recent years. However, unlike its counterparts in the United States, the government of Canada has yet to show even the slightest curiosity or concern.

The evidence of UAP is overwhelming and has been affirmed by presidents, former heads of the CIA, the current NASA administrator, intelligence officials, and trained military observers. Now that there is an ability to have serious discussions on this matter, more individuals with impeccable backgrounds feel comfortable speaking publicly about what they know.

Comment: This article was published last year. A year later, and Maguire is back in the news for writing a letter to the Minister of National Defense where he confirms the existence of a Five-Eyes program into investigating retrieved UAP materials. Read that story here:

Canadian MP confirms allied UAP reverse-engineering programs in letter to defense minister

larry maguire
Investigative journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp obtained and are releasing a new document into public record - pertaining to an allied coordination of UFO/UAP reverse-engineering programs.

BACKGROUND

On the heels of blockbuster testimony from UAP whistleblower David Grusch, a letter has surfaced which alleges the UFO coverup is a multinational effort. In Canada, a veteran Member of Parliament sent a confidential letter to that nation's Defense Minister. The elected official provides very specific details about an ongoing program within the "Five Eyes" alliance (USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand) to analyze and reverse-engineer exotic materials obtained from crashes of UFOs. Some of the materials in question date back to the early 1950s according to MP Larry Maguire. Maguire urges the Canadian government to get out in front of the UAP story before further revelations destroy public trust and embarrass the governments of the Five Eyes nations. In this episode, Jeremy and George review the contents of this explosive letter, its implications, and the names of the specific multinational programs which have allegedly attempted to reverse-engineer exotic wreckage collected at crash sites.

Comment: The letter was from March, urging a public response to be prepared by May. They have obviously not done so, but there is this:
The Canadian government has confirmed its participation in a first-of-its kind international meeting on unidentified flying objects hosted at United States military headquarters.

The gathering at the Pentagon late last month comes amid a burst of activity in Washington and eye-popping news reports related to so-called Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).

It featured a U.S.-led briefing to visitors from nations of the Five Eyes intelligence-sharing alliance, which includes Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

The Canadian Department of National Defence told CBC News in an email that Canada attended the meeting, led by a Royal Canadian Air Force representative.

"The details of the meeting remain classified," DND said in an email. "It can be characterized as the sharing of information on the subject of UAP and no further details can be shared at this time."

The meeting featured a presentation by Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick — the veteran scientist in the U.S. national-defence establishment who leads the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), a new entity created in 2022 to lead UAP-related activities for the U.S. military.

Kirkpatrick publicly revealed the Five Eyes gathering last week while speaking at a public conference hosted by NASA.

"I have just held our first Five Eyes forum on this subject," Kirkpatrick said.

"There is a Five Eyes program to analyze UFO materials and it's been kept secret." ~Knapp

"This is a reverse engineering program of UFOs confirmed." ~Corbell

"[@LarryMaguireMP] has been directly interviewing program witnesses. It's like they uncovered [a UFO] exploitation program and they're like, 'Oh shit!'" ~Corbell

Larry Maguire is a member of Parliament in Canada.

@JeremyCorbell: "[Maguire] is informing the Minister of National Defense. like the Secretary of Defense in the U.S., equivalent - that she is not aware that [Canada] has been participating, through, basically, their form of DARPA, through this Five Eyes Foreign Materials Program, in the reverse engineering of UFOs. That's what this document admits"

@g_knapp: "I think he could also be saying, 'Look, I know about it, and I know that YOU know about it, so it's time for you to come clean.' I think he's characterizing this in as polite a way as possible, to say, 'Boy, you need to get briefed, you need to be brought up to speed on this.' But I suspect, behind the scenes, he knows that SHE knows, and he's telling her, 'Look, the beans are gonna be spilled, you gotta get ready to come clean on this."

Corbell: "The way I understand it, and I could be wrong, is that she doesn't know. That she's pretty new to the job, and that they don't have the clearances and this is not something that's usually put up as a first thing that's given to a Secretary of Defense. She might know I have no proof either way.

"CC'd on this are a number of people. Science technology...all that. I noticed one, Major-General Michael Wright, Commander of Canadian Forces. So strange. His name has been brought up to me for years now, as somebody who was, what they call a gatekeeper to this information. Seeing his name there? That feels like a warning shot. That individual knows about these programs, from what I know over a few years now. That individual knows about these exploitation programs that are coordinated through Five Eyes and with Canada. So putting that person on this as a CC feels, to me, like a shot fired."

Knapp: We know Maguire met with @LueElizondo and @ExploreSCU and had briefings from both of them. Has there been a briefing in an official capacity where USG representatives leveled with him and said, "Here's what's going on"?

Corbell: "[@LarryMaguireMP] has met with firsthand, direct program exploitation people. I know that for a fact, that he has met with them. He has been directly interviewing program witnesses. It's like they uncovered [an] exploitation program and they're like, 'Oh shit!' And I know some of the people that he's spoken [to], both in person, and also through Zoom or something like that. But in HIS country, in those programs that are allied exploitation programs."

Senator admits UFO whistleblower report tracks with official briefing

Hawley

Senator Josh Hawley said a recent UFO whistleblower's report is "pretty close" to information he received in a briefing after the United States shot down a spy balloon and other unidentified flying objects this past winter.

The Missouri Republican said he wasn't surprised, but he was "disturbed" by David Grusch's claims that not only has the government found proof of but also covered up several "non-human" crafts and remains.

Grusch, a 36-year-old Airforce veteran, told NewsNation earlier this month that a top-secret military program found fully intact UFOs, or "unidentified aerial phenomena" (UAPs). Grusch, who previously worked as the National Reconnaissance Office's representative to the UAP Task Force, said that the U.S. covered up several "non-human origin" crafts and "dead pilots."

Newsweek reached out to Hawley via his website for comment. Grusch's claims could not be verified by Newsweek.

For decades, the UFO question has been consigned to the realm of speculation, conspiracy theory and science fiction. However, in recent years, serious people have started taking on the subject with a more academic approach.

The renewed interest has been prompted in part by the recent release of videos purporting to show encounters between American naval aviators and, what the Pentagon has labeled "unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP)" Congress has convened hearings to determine what these UAP are and what threat, if any, they might pose.

"If UAP do indeed represent a potential threat to our security, then the capabilities, systems, processes and sources we use to observe and study or analyze these phenomena need to be classified at appropriate levels," said Scott Bray, Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence.

The Department of Defense has established a special team: the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). It's job: to investigate and identify what are now hundreds of reported sightings. So far, they have not confirmed any of them to constitute proof of alien life.

Unclassified version of David Grusch's UFO-related reprisal complaint released

david grusch
Investigative journalists George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell have released the unclassified version of the Intelligence Community Inspector General (IC IG) complaint filed by whistleblower David Grusch.

The complaint pertains to reprisals faced by Grusch for providing information regarding the concealment of classified material from the US Congress in connection with Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).

This significant release was made public during an episode of their podcast titled 'WEAPONIZED'.

The complaint, which can be accessed here, is dated May 25, 2022. It is signed by Irvin Charles McCullough III, the former ICIG representing Compass Rose Legal Group. George Knapp has reported that McCullough has since departed from his role at Compass Rose after the issuance of a statement indicating the conclusion of their legal representation of Grusch.

Liberation Times has reached out to Compass Rose for their response to these claims, as relayed by Knapp and other anonymous sources.

Additionally, during discussions about the document, Corbell mentioned that the classified version had been handed over to Avril Haines, the Director of National Intelligence in the United States.

Wait...are they REALLY going to do a UFO psy-op?

Everyone from whistleblowers to the White House is suddenly talking about aliens...but why?

Late last week it was widely reported that the United States government had recovered an intact alien spacecraft from a crash site.

The supposed revelation comes from one David Grusch, a "former" military intelligence agent, who turned "whistleblower" and told the press that this supposed craft "distorted time and space", was "bigger on the inside than the outside" and made some rescue workers ill.

Just today, he added more to the story, claiming the Vatican has known about this since WWII, and they helped Mussolini retrieve a downed UFO.

Now, assuming none of this is true, it's not an especially noteworthy incident in and of itself. After all fringe figures coming forward claiming to be "whistleblowers" does happen, and they often tell ludicrous stories with no supporting evidence.

These can occur organically or be staged by agencies of the state, and either way the press is always happy to give them air because a) they are distracting and b) they discredit real "conspiracy theories" by association.

But that's not what appears to be going on here.

For starters, Grusch wasn't just given space in the media, he was given at least a small amount of credence by them. They allowed him to talk without mockery or even much questioning.

I mean let's compare and contrast the coverage of a man claiming a literal TARDIS exists to the coverage of doctors claiming covid vaccines are dangerous or masks don't work.

Corporate "fact-checkers" seemed to have missed a gimme here, don't they?

Recovered UFO 'distorted space and time,' leaving one investigator 'nauseous and disoriented', attorney for whistleblowers reveals

Lawyer Daniel Sheehan
Lawyer Daniel Sheehan tells DailyMail.com that a whistleblower told him of a crashed UFO recovered by the US military that 'distorted space-time'
A crashed UFO recovered by the US military 'distorted space-time' and was 'bigger on the inside', claims a top attorney involved in bringing UFO whistleblowers to Congress.

Daniel Sheehan says he was told the mind-boggling tale by a whistleblower who allegedly took part in an illegally-undisclosed program retrieving crashed non-human spacecraft - and who has now briefed Senate Intelligence Committee staff.

The lawyer's story is the latest in a series of stunning claims this week of UFOs in the government's hands, which began on Monday with an on-camera interview of former senior Air Force intelligence officer David Grusch alleging that the US government possesses multiple crashed 'non-human' craft.

The Department of Defense says it has 'not discovered any verifiable information' to support any of the claims.

But Sheehan has been helping bring whistleblowers like Grusch to Congress in an attempt to expose what he believes is a government cover-up of encounters with extraterrestrials.

A former Marine claims he and five comrades saw a flying saucer being loaded with weapons while serving in Indonesia in 2009 - and was threatened at gunpoint by unmarked US forces at the scene.

The wild story comes after an Air Force whistleblower from the government's UFO office joined growing numbers of intelligence officials claiming the US has recovered and is even reverse-engineering crashed or landed 'non-human' spacecraft.

Michael Herrera was a 20-year-old rifleman sent on a Navy humanitarian mission during the 2009 Sumatra earthquake and tsunami that devastated the region.

In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, he claims that while guarding an airdrop of aid supplies outside the city of Padang in October that year, his six-man unit stumbled across a hovering octagonal craft in apparent use by clandestine US forces.
