High Strangeness
Last year, seasoned crop artists had already produced more than 50
Tourists and those hoping for an alien encounter used to flock to the county
But this year's attempts have been met with derision by enthusiasts
A crackdown by farmers has deterred many top crop circle makers
Their intricate designs and the shear impressive size of them takes meticulous planning and precision execution.
And the resulting crop circle, while illegal and irritating to the farmer whose field has been targeted, is usually visually stunning.
But while some crop circles are remembered for their perfect symmetry and unique patterns, others are slightly less impressive.
A series of recent attempts at producing circles have been been met with much derision by fans of the field art after they recently appeared in Wiltshire.
Robert Hills, Henry County Sheriff's Chief Deputy, says the first cow was discovered in December of 2011, the second and third this summer. All were female cows and were owned by rancher Lyn Mitchell.
"We couldn't see any since of trauma, and it doesn't appear that there was any type of wild animal, such coyotes, that were involved," Hills told KMOX.
The first cow discovered on Mitchell's ranch had her tongue and ear removed. Mitchell told KSHB-TV she assumed the mutilation was part of a sacrificial ritual or just teenagers, so she didn't report it.
The next two discovered on July 9th and 19th of this year had their tongues removed along with their udders, anus, reproductive organs, and ears. A veterinarian wasn't called to examine the first two cows. But one did examine the third one.
Around 5 a.m. on July 27, the worker named Wu Chengzhi arrived at the northern slope of the Changbai Mountains and together with his colleague began conducting their routine measurements of Tianchi Lake's water temperatures.
While they were collecting their samples, Wu spotted a V-shaped ripple appear on the lake's quiet and calm surface. At the forefront of the ripple, a "black point" came peeking out of the water and swam forward at relatively high speed.
A hiking couple have claimed that new footage they shot while walking in the Canadian wilderness shows the legendary bigfoot. The claim is the latest in a long series of reported sightings in Canada over the past few years.
The video, allegedly shot in Mission, British Columbia, shows a large, gangling figure possibly covered in black hair, loping over a forest hilltop.
Although filmed from a distance, it is possible to make out the figure emerging from behind a tree. It is visible for around 20 seconds, before appearing to punch a few leaves out of the way and disappearing out of sight.
According to crypto-zoology website 'Legend Tracker', the couple were on a hiking holiday when they spotted the mythical creature in the distance and began to film.
The tantalising footage has left bigfoot believers hoping that experts can examine it and therefore prove that the legendary ape-like sasquatch does indeed live in the forests of North America.
In 1911 David Pugh and James Hart, two guano miners (yes, mining bat poo is really a thing) were excavating a cave on the eastern side of Nevada when they found something intriguing buried under 250 tons of excrement.
According to the men's bizarre tale, hidden beneath six feet of bat crap they discovered several sets of giant bones, remains which many now believe belong to the Si-Te-Cah, a storied Paiute tribe of red-haired cannibal giants. Legend has it that the last remaining giants were burned alive inside the cave thousands of years ago.

Then-Sheriff Dennis Brekke recalled the night in 1979 when this squad car driven by a deputy met something that left a shattered headlight, dented hood, cracked windshield and bent antennas.
The top museum attraction for the Andersons - and for many others - is a patrol car from what's commonly known as the "Warren UFO Encounter" of 1979, the Grand Forks Herald reported.
"Most of this kind of stuff, I don't believe. But I believe this story," Anderson said. "You have to believe in some things that you don't understand."
During county fair week, museum visitors routinely number 5,000. "The car is the single item that most people mention as their reason for coming here," said museum president Kent Broten.
Dennis Brekke, the county sheriff in 1979 who is now retired, regaled the Andersons and others about the incident, which involved Deputy Val Johnson, who is believed to now live somewhere in Wisconsin. He had appeared on ABC's Good Morning America soon after the incident, but quickly grew tired of the interviews and attention.
Location of sighting: Earths Sun
These UFO have been recorded by SOHO for years, but more and more people are finding out about it today, which will one day force NASA to come up with a truth or lie as a response. Now please understand this is not a small thing but these objects are near the size of our Earth. Look closely and you will see these objects are not on fire, not leaving a tail like a comet and not as hot as the sun. Instead these objects look calm, cold and unscathed by the heat. That...should not be possible.
There are fears the stricken animal may have been alive during its ordeal
The pony was found in a remote part of Devon National Park on Tuesday
Patches of burned grass surrounded it and it had white paint on it's leg
A Satanic cult has been blamed for the sickening death of a pony, which was found horrifically mutilated and laying in the remnants of a ring of fire after full moon.
Police are investigating after the young male had its genitals, right ear and tongue sliced off, and eyes gouged out. It is thought the animal may have been alive when the atrocities were committed.
Its belly was hacked open and the young pony also had traces of white paint on one of its legs, suggesting it was killed as part of a bizarre ceremony.

Sickening: The body of this two-month-old foal was found horrifically mutilated and there are fears it is the work of Satanists
It was also surrounded by circular patches of burnt moorland, which experts believe were left by a ring of torches or candles.
The two-month old pony seemed to have been dragged into a clearing and placed at the foot of a slope to face the previous night's full moon.
It was found on Tuesday morning by a horse rider at Yennadon Down, a remote, area of Devon National Park.
A remarkable video which appears to show a poltergeist in a Whitstable shop is proving an internet sensation.
The clip on YouTube films security footage apparently taken at the Whitstable Nutrition Centre. As a shopper browses, a box emerges from the shelf behind him and hovers in the air. Another box then falls to the floor, startling him. Since it first when online, it has attracted more than 10,000 views.
It appears to be mobile phone footage of security cameras at the shop. A man giving a running commentary to the girl tells her: "This guy here, watch behind his head. Keep watching - just look at the shelf. It's the weirdest thing."
As the package emerges, she says repeatedly "Oh, my God" and adds: "What is that?"
He tells her: "I don't know" and she helpfully suggests: "It might be a poltergeist or something like that. I don't like it."
