Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving home from my girlfriend's house down Henleaze Rd Bristol. I suddenly noticed several large orange (fire like) lights slowly moving across the sky line . I turn the corner to and saw a car parked with a elderly man in the driving seat and a woman with a camera stood on the pavement (side walk) .I stopped the car and got out. I asked them both what they thought the lights were.
What is the Puerto Rican Research Group?
It's a non-profit entity that emerged in the 1960's, but by 1988 was established as an organization registered with the Puerto Rican State Department. It is made up of several individual specialized in given technical fields and having knowledge of specific areas. For example, the group's director or leader is Mr. Willie Durand Urbina, who has a background in cinematography. He was a cameraman for a San Juan-based TV station and he has pursued this profession as a photo and video analyst. He's currently specializing in optics and how it affects our environment. Willie covers the San Juan Area. Another of our members is Juan A. Lopez, another technician in photo analysis and the group's logistician. His work is of great importance, as he has considerable knowledge of photo imagery. Juan covers the Hato Rey and Fajardo areas. Whalberto Cardona is an airline pilot with a vast knowledge of aircraft; his opinions are very important within the group when it comes to analyzing objects in our skies. He covers the entire southeastern region of Puerto Rico. Carmen Martinez is a special member of our group, as she delves in the paranormal. She's our adviser in paranormal affairs and specializes in this field. José A. Martinez has a background in computer science and worked for the Department of Justice's internal security department. He's in charge of field research, collecting all data in a forensic manner, guarding the scene to keep it from being tainted until specialized equipment can be brought in. He's also in charge of several of the group's websites and of informing the pertinent media.
It's a horse -- not just any horse, as it was a wild colt that no one could tame. However, it appears that someone managed to do so.
On October 1, 2007, in the Moscas Sur District, Department of Uruguay, separated from Rosario del Tala by the river bearing the same name, Mr. Edgardo Raul Slootman of the San Diego ranch found one of his colts in the manner shown in the photograph that appears above. Regrettably, this photo is not perfectly clear, as the gentleman did not have the negatives and it was only possible to take a photo of the photo. But as it is nevertheless important, I ask that you concentrate on what it shows: on the animal's neck, and toward the bottom, it is possible to see some collar-shaped lines caused by some element that stripped the colt's flesh as it slid threw. These lines end in a sort of fungus that multiplies as it becomes larger. This is something we had never seen before, and it truly concerns us, as the subject of mutilations appears to be changing directions little by little. These events have never ceased to occur since 2002.
From the La Crosse Tribune - A wild beast said to be a panther has been terrorizing residents in the southwestern part of Eau Claire County and the northeastern portion of Pepin County. Some of the farmers upon waking up mornings find that some of their sheep and young stocks and calves have been devoured. A farmer's son was followed for a short distance.Chad's Take:
What a timely story! Here we have a case of a strange animal terrorizing Eau Claire County. The newspaper wrote that is was thought to be a panther (also known as a cougar, mountain lion, or puma depending on the region of the US). For years I have been receiving reports from witnesses who claimed to have seen a cougar in WI. Witnesses have sent me photos of tracks, hair, and photos of blurry animals all claiming to be cougars. Of course every time I talked to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources they scoffed at me and I was informed that cougars are no longer roaming in WI. Their position has changed a little now that a cougar was recently treed in Wisconsin and shot with a tranquilizer (it escaped) and numerous definitive photos of it were published in the media. We can now rest assured that at least one cougar is roaming the countryside of Wisconsin.
So why is their such a drastic increase? According to Robert Powell, MUFON's Director of Research, "Last year's record numbers were contributed in part by mass sighting reports in Erath County, Texas and Bucks County, Pennsylvania." He goes on to emphasize that many of the witnesses making these reports are highly credible professionals, such as police officers, county constables, engineers and former air traffic control operators.
"It would've made two of my hands," said Hawk Spearman, a founder of the Alabama chapter of the Elusive Primates of North America, or EPNA.
Spearman said the find was the first handprint he has discovered in more than a decade of research, although he has found footprints in the past.
"We were pleased with what we did find," he said.
The object was twice the size of what appeared to be an F-18 following between 100 and 300 yards behind, according to witness testimony logged into the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
Nevada City is about 25 miles from Beale Air Force Base.
Another group of witnesses at Long Beach, CA, reported a saucer-shaped, controlled craft maneuvering near the coast very close to the Seal Beach Navy Weapons Station at about 7 p.m. PST on March 17. More than 10 helicopters appeared to give chase. Read that complete story here.
The sighting was very close to Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station.
The reporting witness, who filed the story with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database, said he first noticed the object about one mile off the Pacific coast and hovering on the southern horizon.
The craft, he said, took a 160/180 degree turn traveling east - then returned moving west - and then repeated the maneuver as it drifted further south.

Hi, Last week, Wednesday 11th March 2009, I drove to the Lake District with my girlfriend for a day out. While we were there we both took a number of digital photos using our digital camera. We had a great day driving all over the lakes and didn't get back home until late and when we got back home we just crashed out. It was only the next day that my girlfriend spotted the unusual dark triangular shaped object when she downloaded the photos into the computer. I was out shopping when I received a text message saying something about a UFO on a photograph. I telephoned her and she explained, and when I got back home I studied the photo for ages.
