My wife and I were walking at about 8:00 pm, when I heard a strange noise coming from the Southwest. It sounded at first like a car with a bad axle or something, with a repeating whistling noise I could only describe as "whoo-whoo-whoo-whoo", only very highpitched.

To sum it up, the object was about as bright and big as Venus was a few weeks ago moving through the sky. I thought it may have been an airplane but as it passed the brightness remained constant so I am sure it was not an airplane. There were no other lights just a bright blue-white sphere very large and very high. It was not racing across the sky just moving at a moderate speed about as fast an airliner would fly by us being that we are close to O'Hare and Midway airports.

My brother-in-law and I were coming home from the convenient store and I had seen a strange light in the sky. I didn't know what it was, so I didn't respond immediately to it, but kept an eye on it. The light was big enough to notice but the trees were making the light indistinguishable. As we continued to drive home, I then saw the lights much more clearly. There were four huge circular lights, each light being bigger than that of a streetlight, flashing - then would disappear, then one huge circular light would appear and disappear, then four more huge lights would appear, then disappear...and the cycle of circular flashing lights continued in that pattern: four then one. They continued to flash and move at a steady pace toward the south. My brother-in-law was amazed at what he saw and yelled, "What is that?"

A bright orange orb came out of the Northwest moving rather fast then slowed down and turned South and slowed down. It originally was large then it got smaller as it turned then and began to fade away until it was no longer visible.

An point of light appeared in the western sky low on the horizon, maybe 15 degrees above the horizon traveling ENE. At first it looked pink (like it was in the light of the setting sun) but as it continued ENE and rose to about 30 degrees above the horizon it gradually changed to a bright white. It's speed was constant and about the same speed as the commercial planes flying in the area. There were 6 aircraft in the immediate vicinity of the object and it appeared that one was following it for about 15 seconds while it was in the western sky.

At about 23:15, March 17, 2009, I saw a bright dark blue light in the skies, about 100' (rough estimate) in the sky over a wooded area next to the freeway in Lexington, Ky. The light was not extremely bright, like a police light or the sun, but rather like a blue runway light at the airport. The light was steady and there were no other lights, flashing or otherwise. It appeared as though the light might have been suspended under a small, white parachute, but it did not seem like the movement of the light was consistent with a parachute.

Jan. 31, 2009 - An interesting UFO incident that occurred in the Polynesian nation of Tonga in the South Pacific was reported on the front page of the Samoan Observer which wrote that:
"Two unidentified flying objects commonly known as UFOs were sighted in the sky above Eua Island in Tonga on 31 January 2009.
The man who made the discovery is a visiting French photographer and journalist named Daniel Ubertini.
Mr Ubertini did not see the saucer-like phenomena with his naked eye. They were captured by his camera in photos taken of the airfield at the time. In the photo is also an image of an inter island aircraft belonging to Great Barrier Airlines parked on Eua Airport.
It is understood the UFOs were following this aircraft while it was airborne. After he had loaded the camera's images in the computer he discovered two distinctive round images in the background."

It was so bright, it made the light look diamond shaped. I kept watching as it was a very bright light (which would mean the plane should be coming towards me) but realized it was actually traveling from west to east in front of me. I then noticed it didn't have any plane undercarriage or wing lights flashing and there was no noise. I then noticed it was traveling faster than a plane should be at that altitude (we live around 25 miles from Gatwick airport so planes do pass by).

Witnesses saw the mysterious large diamond-shaped object hanging in the air for about 10 minutes before it ascended vertically at high speed.
Military experts concluded the aircraft was a Harrier, but could not identify the UFO despite apparently commissioning detailed line drawings of it.
Fearing there could be significant media interest, the MoD took the unusual step of briefing ministers about the sighting.

In march 2008 71-year old inhabitant of Szczecinek (Northern Poland) went on a trip to Borne Sulinowo area. Unexpectedly she perceived an outline of humanoid entity hovering above ruins of former military complex. The woman became paralyzed but after a while she retreated. The being followed her...
On that day Mrs. Izydora from Szczecinek (northern part of Poland) went with her husband on a trip to the Borne Sulinowo area. The man parked their car and soon they departed. While her husband went toward the local forest, Mrs. Izydora decided to stroll amongst ruins of the local military base. It was about 1 - 2 p.m.
Suddenly the woman felt strange but decided to walk further. After a while she unexpectedly noticed in the mid-air some kind of semi-transparent entity. As she said, it looked like a "misty figure" of a man hovering several meters above the ground. Mrs. Izydora (71) could see its exact shape since the silhouette was outlined by whitish contour making it quite noticeable.
