I too have seen a cigar shaped object in the sky over Marcy NY, this object was about 1/2 mile high in the sky and did not have any lights on it. It was the size of a football field and made not a noise. I thought I heard a humming, but if pushed for an answer, I would have to say it made no noise. I was traveling west as the sun was setting and I seen out my drivers side window, a large cigar shaped something that moved slowly to my right, north, towards I thought was the direction of Griffis Air base. Anyways as it passed over, I had to pull over to get out and see. I did notice that another vehicle also had stopped, it was headed in the opposite direction than me.

On the above date and time I was sitting with my Husband and daughter in the living room area, and watching a movie. I was seated in a chair that faces South-West, while my husband and daughter were seated in chairs facing approx. North. Within the living room is a large sliding glass door that allows exit to the backyard area. The door also faces South-West and overlooks the Tucson mountains with an unimpeded view since there are no homes in that area adjacent our home.

Hi Brian, It freaked me out to see your article and I believe you saw what you saw. I am hoping in your search you have received more answers to your sighting in Belleville, ON during the 60's. At that time I was living in Trenton Ontario on Dufferin Street and had a strange meeting one night as a child. I remember a portal opening up through my bed's head board and going inside where I was met by friendly beings. I don't remember much about what we did or said, but woke up the next morning with a vivid memory of having the experience. I couldn't understand what had happened to the hole that I was able to crawl through in the night.

Pasadena, California - Scientists say a newly discovered asteroid whizzed harmlessly past Earth on Wednesday, the second close encounter in a month.
The small space rock dubbed 2009 FH flew within 49,000 miles of the Earth's surface at 8:17 a.m. EDT.
Don Yeomans, who heads NASA's Near-Earth Object Program, says there was never any chance of an impact.
The asteroid, measuring 43 feet and 95 feet across, was spotted Monday night by the NASA-funded Catalina Sky Survey in Arizona.
An asteroid this size usually comes this close to Earth every few months.
Wednesday's flyby was farther away than another asteroid close call earlier this month. That asteroid was about the size of one that blasted Siberia a century ago came within 41,000 miles of Earth.

He's had it for 25 years but still doesn't know what it is. It weighs nearly 20 pounds and measures about 10 inches in diameter.
In 1983, Kidd found "the thing" as he calls it serving as a door stop in a home he bought in Tombstone.
It's been chiseled for testing but geologists can't give Kidd an answer. He has an idea though, "People ask me what it is, I think it's a petrified miniature UFO," he said with a laugh.

The sighting took place on February 24 of this year on a Southern Airlines flight which was flying to Nanjing at around 6pm. A group of journalists were socialising during the flight when one of them noticed an unusual luminous object traveling alongside the airplane. At this point the Journalist alerted a number of security officials and the other journalists with whom he was traveling together with. The journalist managed to snap a few photos before the object shot off in a north easterly direction. The object was visible for around one minute.
A lucky viewer of NASA TV got the surprise of his/her life yesterday. While watching live footage of the STS-119 Space Shuttle mission he/she noticed an extra-ordinarily clear UFO pass by the craft. The stunned viewer managed to record it and upload it onto YouTube.

A professional engineer watched two, silent, low flying and apparently controlled craft with an interesting "transparent halo" around them over Romeo, Michigan, on March 14. Reports are increasing across the country with varying descriptions of these craft having a transparency nature to them.
A Colorado sighting on March 16 was described as a dark, gray, silent, solid yet transparent, triangular-shaped object over Colorado Springs.

Arizona, March 14, 2009 - 2 lights at the ends of a very large object in S.E sky (similar to in size to Phoenix lights object) appeared then receded at an incredible speed.
I live on the eastern edge of Queen Creek, Az. and have a very good view of the night sky to the Northeast, East, and the Southeast. Tonight my adult son was visiting and I was showing him Saturn, then the Orion Nebula through my Celestron telescope. After showing him these objects I set the scope to go to another nearby nebula, and glanced at the S.E. sky as the scope was slewing. Clearly visible coming toward us in the distance was a large object with two very bright lights, one at each end. I grabbed my binoculars and as I watched, the object stopped, then receded at an incredible speed. As it receded I could see a haze forming around the lights.

March 12th, 2009 I spotted 3 star like objects, starting at 8:09pm. It was like a star moving across the sky. The color was amber to orange. I seen it coming from the north. It was moving slowly south then it stopped. It remained hovering there until about 8:40pm?
