What were the bizarre domes of light spotted over Grimsby?
The Grimsby Telegraph has been contacted by people eager to find an answer to strange occurrences in the sky.
Two witnesses told similar stories of what they had seen - and both discount familiar lights in the sky, such as the beam being shone from LA's on the Riverhead, Chinese lanterns or fireworks.
What the hell blew up in the skies over the Maryland-to-North Carolina Atlantic coast last night? Thousands of people supposedly saw terrifying Light Monsters floating down from the Heavens, and then heard horrific booms and thunder and such, and ... well it almost sounds like a summer thunderstorm, SCARY, but it is not summer, or something? Global Warming? Let's quickly & cheaply examine the frightful evidence.
* WAVY is investigating the loud boom and bright flash in the sky witnessed by hundreds of thousands of people around 9:40 Sunday night. People from Maryland to North Carolina have called 10 On Your Side and wavy.com reporting the flash. [

* Reports of a bright light and in some places, an explosion-like sound, poured into law-enforcement offices across eastern Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina last night. "The phone is ringing off the hook," said meteorologist Sonia Mark at the National Weather Service's Wakefield station. She said Suffolk police were looking into "reports of great balls of fire landing on the ground." [

It is important to display a list of reputable names who believe in UFOs. These are quotes from our Presidents, NASA Astronauts, retired military personnel, the former Head of Foreign Technology at the Pentagon, CIA directors and many more.
When this number of people of this calibre speak out against UFO cover ups, it poses some serious questions.
Is it the truth? Or fiction in great numbers?
A large number of people are now beginning to accept the existence of UFOs to be truth. This is the hottest topic of times and the truth needs to come out. Why? At the very least, to prepare for what may come tomorrow. Humans by nature are truth-seekers and most of us have a gut feeling we're not alone. And the odds are mounting that we're not.
If you don't believe there is a UFO cover up going on, look into the subject a little further after reading this information and begin to do your own research. When there are more planets and galaxies than there are grains of sand, is it prudent to assume that we are only planet in this enormous universe that sustains intelligent life?
If you do believe in the existence of UFOs, please consider adding your name to growing list of respectable people who do - it's located in the comments section (right at the bottom of this page). We want this list to grow. While we have many many questions, one thing is sure - the world is not what it appears to be.
Welcome to the biggest cover up that has ever existed.
What do you believe?
Were they meteors? A comet? UFOs?
People from Maryland to Hampton Roads heard loud explosions and saw brilliant, streaking lights in the sky Sunday night.
There was no immediate explanation, the National Weather Service office in Wakefield said. The Virginia Beach 911 center had numerous calls waiting just before 10 p.m., a supervisor said.
The Weather Service said reports were made from Dorchester County, Md., to the Virginia/North Carolina border. People said they saw a streak in the sky and heard an explosion.
"It was orange, like a fireball," said Steve Wagner, who lives in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake and said what he saw was too close to be a shooting star. Wagner was outside cooking with family when he saw the streak. He said he went inside when his daughter called, then heard an explosion that sounded like thunder.
Chris Wamsley, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service's Wakefield office, said there could be various causes of the explosions and lights. A team of people is looking into what happened, he said.
This late-breaking news of UFO reports received from Ohio:
New Albany - 3/28/2009 The witness saw a commercial airliner traveling along a usual path when he noticed an object with lights blinking and moving slower than the aircraft. Upon observing the object with the aid of binoculars, the witness described the object as a rotating, rounded object, with three lights - two blinking (one red, one green). The object was "zipping" back and forth very quickly and was difficult to follow its movements through the binoculars.
Military personnel reported a UFO to a Missouri Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) field investigator regarding a March 1 incident over government property.
The investigator reports that the story originated in the Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri area. Fort Levenworth is nearby and just north of these two cities in Kansas.
The military personnel reported seeing a ball-shaped object at 10:30 p.m. Some of the witnesses stated that the object was 3,000 feet up, others said 200 feet. The silent object was described as a glowing gold color, slow moving, traveling only about 20 mph.
The military witnesses said that they feared being identified as they made their report.
In Elwood, Indiana on March 15, a witness reported observing 3 to 5 lights and one bright strobing light that appeared to be part of a large object, about two to three times the length of a bus. MUFON Indiana Chief Investigator Stewart Hill said the case is an "unknown."
A Pennsylvania witness in Barnesville, on March 25, saw four bright, revolving lights in a stationary position. The lights then began spinning in a circular motion. The witness pointed out that the area is over a state park with a large lake, and is wooded and very quiet.
An Ohio woman watched "unusual lights" in the sky March 28 at 3 a.m. She said the lights were rotating on a horizontal axis and were red and green. They were similar to chaser lights, she said, and blinking about 120 times per minute. While the disc-shaped object appeared to be hovering just above I-75, it then slowly descended behind some hills.

A truly amazing UFO story has emerged from the Ukraine involving a veteran UFO hunter and some very confused townsfolk.
The residents of the Ukrainian town of Senelnikovo in the Dnepropetrovsk region had been seeing strange objects in the sky for weeks and were at a loss as to explain what they were. Many were suspecting that they were UFOs controlled by aliens. Talk of a UFO landing base near the Black Sea had been going on for decades.
A town resident called on a team of Ufologists headed by Mr Vladislav Kanuka, a veteran Ufologist with decades of experience, for help.

I just saw about an hour ago a weird orange light in the sky, over Thousand Oaks, Ca. As I was watching it, I saw it pick up speed until it eventually disappeared over the horizon toward Point Mugu. When I got home, I typed in "UFO sightings Point Mugu" and found your site w/the following entry:

Hello, I would like to report a possible UFO sighting which is a bit out of the ordinary in a way. So I was driving in Montreal, parallel to Sherbrooke Street, in an open area, the weather was coldish, yet no clouds and sunny. At exactly 12:53 my friend who was sitting next to me pointed to the sky, at 12 o'clock, there was three orb-like, (like ping-pong balls from distance) pearl white objects in the air at approx 1000ft above the ground and about 2km away from our vehicle.
The Pennsylvania region, including neighboring states, continue to be a hot bed of UFO activity. Among recently filed reports:
Barnesville, Pennsylvania - 3/25/2009 - A Barnesville family reported witnessing an object in a stationary position, with four very bright lights. The lights began to spin in a circular motion. One light went out, and a third light started to flicker then went out as well. A next door neighbor also witnessed the event.
Norristown, Pennsylvania - 3/25/2009 - Witness saw what he described as two bright lights in the distance which appeared to be stationary, similar to two towers with bright lights on top. The lights were moving, but at a very slow speed. After about ten minutes the lights were directly over the witness, flying at a very low altitude and speed. The lights were blinking white and would change to blinking red and blue, and then a non-blinking white light appeared. At first there were two of these objects, then two more followed. At this point, the witness began to look around him when he looked to the east and noticed three more similar objects. All of the objects exhibited the same characteristics. Finally, there was a total of 10-12 of the objects and they generally flew in pairs, at close proximity to one another, and there was absolutely no sound detected as they flew directly overhead. The entire event lasted for one hour before all of the objects flew away.
