Triangular Craft Traveling Across the Western Sky of East Texas:

On June 2nd, 2009 at or about 22:31 Hrs., I stepped outside to the back of my house to continue a call on my cell phone with a friend when I witnessed traveling what I had originally believed was a blimp flying across the western sky from North to South. However, within moments I realized something unusual about the crafts overall shaped. I quickly excused myself off the phone and ran inside my house to call my girlfriend, Lisa, to the back of the house to also observe and further confirm what I was witnessing.

Large triangular craft, 3 large red orb shapes and peachy connectors connecting the orbs, lasted for maybe 10 to 15 seconds

I am 12, I was doing my chores. I had to take out the garbage. I walked out the door and immediately heard a buzzing noise. At first I paid no attention thinking it was most likely a bee. It got louder, I looked up seeing a bright triangular craft. It had 4 large red orbs with peachy colored connectors. I ran to the garbage cans. It moved across the sky much faster than any plane I have seen. It put out no exhaust. I ran to our porch got my Mom, took her out, it was gone. There was also sort of like fog surrounding the craft.

A dark gray giant boomerang shaped UFO with 8 dim lights spotted at Berryville pond.

The object could best be described as the shape of a giant boomerang. It appeared to be a dark gray color. Though the front of the UFO was boomerang shaped, it was unclear if there was any form of a tail or other parts to the UFO. It appeared to be flying at roughly 1000 ft. above the ground. It had 4 very dim lights down each "wing", totaling 8 dim lights.

Sir - I write with reference to the recent story and letters about orange lights in the sky.

At about 10.15pm on the evening of June 12, my wife who was returning home from work called me out on to New Street. Along with a group of young adults, we observed five flying objects traveling in file, about 30 seconds behind each other.

They approached Torrington from the west, faster than helicopters and proceeded to pass Torrington to the north of the town. As each craft drew level with the Dartington crystal factory it immediately climbed, without any slowing, to a height of about half a mile.

US: Two See 4 Bright Silver Oval Objects in Sky

Time of Sighting: 9:25 PM EDT
Location of Sighting: Erlanger, Kentucky (Immediately To SE of Cincinnati, OH Airport)

Description: Around 9:25 PM my friend ad I saw four bright, silver,oval objects in Erlanger, Kentucky. We saw objects for 5 minutes. They then disappeared, came back and then disappeared for good!

Note: This sighting occurred very close to a major international airport. Certainly many others (commercial jets) would have seen these objects.

Australia: Update - No answer on mystery fire starter

The mystery fire on Hazle Marland's Gaeta property is still burning - just like the questions about what started it.

On Friday emergency crews rushed to Mrs Marland's property after reports something had fallen from the sky and started a fire.

Crews were quick to rule out the possibility of a plane crash, but speculation about the cause goes on.

"It's still a mystery, there are a lot of rumours floating around but because it is so inaccessible I really don't think that we're ever going to get to the bottom of it," Mrs Marland said.

US: UFO Traffic Report: 3 triangle objects over Sioux City, Iowa

The UFO Traffic Report for Wednesday, June 24, 2009, includes seven selected sightings over seven states, according to witness statements filed in the past 48 hours with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

Today's stories include: Three triangle-shaped objects zigzagging over Sioux City, Iowa; a man who claims to photograph USAF secret test flights of ET discs outside of Las Vegas, Nevada; five cigar-shaped objects over Santa Clara, California; a Bright Light low over Medford, Oregon; two objects low over Gross Reservoir in Colorado; and Orange Lights spotted over Michigan and Texas.

Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If MUFON investigates and reports back on any of these cases, I will update this page.

Contributing editor Guillermo Gimenez draws our attention to an article by Luis Burgos of Argentina's FAO organization regarding the possible presence of "humanoids" in the Province of Buenos Aires in the early 1940s, before Kenneth Arnold's legendary sighting over Mount Rainier:

In early 1971, in mid-summer, I had the chance to spend the season in Orense, a lovely beach resort, which together with Reta and Claromecó represent the main tourist attractions of the season. Logically, and given the fact that I was taking my very first steps in field research, my conversations had mostly to do with the subject [ufology]. Thus, my mind was stirred by anecdotes and remembrances. The cause of this was Mr. Vicente Pedone, who was my host at the time.

Fifty two years ago, on June 24th, 1947, Kenneth Arnold saw five objects that he described as "skipping like saucers over water" in the skies over Washington State. The rest is history.

Let us not forget that UFO activity was already beginning to occur elsewhere in the world, and this newspaper article from Chile, courtesy of our friend Raul Núñez at the IIEE, is a good example:

A Flying Disk Over Santiago: Seen Flying over Los Cerrillos

Mr. Gillermo de la Cerda Simonot, a former civilian officer of the Fleet, states that a shining, silvery and oval-shaped object" appeared before his eyes for ten minutes at noon yesterday.

A flying disk remained stationary for at least ten minutes over the Los Cerrillos airport, at least ten kilometers from the Plaza de Armas, at the very same time that the population of Santiago left its offices and workshops to go off to lunch. The object was seen by Guillermo de la Cerda Simonot, master mechanic of a small bus line, and whose background as a former civilian officer of the Fleet for 30 years, knowledgeable about machinery and vehicles, is a serene, creditworthy individual with good eyesight.

Description of Sighting: I was sitting outside at around 10 pm. I happened to see a bright ball of white light (no other coloured lights on it) coming from the north east direction. I saw it for about 10 seconds and then it went straight up into the sky and the light dimmed until it faded into the black sky. It moved pretty fast, this all happened within 20 or 30 seconds.
