England: Exeter, Devon - Bright Orange Light Moving Very Quickly

Witness Statement: I was at a friend's house enjoying a rare night out when I caught a glimpse of a bright orange light moving very quickly above us. We thought it was a hot air balloon at first, but it was moving too quickly. There was no sound at all. My friend took a photo on his mobile phone, none of us could decide what it could possibly be, we did decide that it definitely wasn't a plane, helicopter or anything we had seen before. My friend said he had seen two very similar sights about a month previously. Very, very strange.

Date of Sighting: Sunday 21, June 2009
Time: approx 3 o'clock

Witness Statement: Me and my girlfriend were laying in bed chatting when I noticed a light to the left of my house. I said "what is that?" It come within 150 metres and we both watched it moved like nothing I have ever seen. It has green triangle lights underneath and oranges and white hoop encircling it. It moved in a sideways motion. It got about 15 yards to the right of my house and wobbled from side to side, then half hour later it done the exactly the same thing. I was gutted that I didn't film it. Me and my girlfriend are in total disbelief. We never believed in this stuff. It was amazing to see it once let alone twice.

Witness Statement: Around 10:30 last night my sister came running into my room exclaiming "Their are lights in the sky!" I jumped out of bed and ran to the western window of the house and there in the sky in the direction of city hospital was three sphere shaped objects glowing brightly of orange. They were moving slowly in different directions then returning to the same point. One by one they faded and seemed to be getting further away until I could no longer see them. I strained to look for them but they had gone.

Time: between 22:20 -22:30

Witness Statement: I went to back door to check it was locked and noticed an unusual coloured ( orangish ) light moving towards me ( southbound ). I opened the door and went outside and there was no engine noise, the wind was calm and the light turned 90 degrees to the west, heading towards Manchester International Airport, ascended and disappeared. I was about to go back inside when another light came from exactly the same direction, at the same altitude took exactly the same turn ( to re-iterate the wind was calm ) ascended and disappeared.

Date of Sighting: 26th June 2009
Time: Approx 11.30pm

Witness Statement: We saw two flaming objects traveling towards the South and getting closer to the ground as we were watching. They seemed to hover for a few seconds and then started to travel in the North East direction and increasing in altitude getting away from us. The one on the left disappeared first followed by the second one. There was no noise and this amazing experience was witnessed by 4 persons and lasted approx 2 mins. I wonder if anyone else out there saw this and can explain.

It was warm for a December afternoon in Hutchinson, Kan., when Katie came home from work in 2008. Katie's ride dropped her off across from her duplex, and as she stood in the street, her ride moving slowly away, she knew something wasn't right.

"I noticed two boys standing in my driveway," she said. "One had longer dark hair and the other had his hood up so I couldn't see him very well."

The teenagers, about 15 or 16 years old, seemed to be watching her - Katie felt they were waiting for her. She steeled herself and walked nervously across the road toward her porch. The boys had lurked around her neighborhood for months, but they'd never been so bold as to stand this close to her home.

US: Video: Another sphere-triangle UFO witness comes forward

A sphere-triangle UFO was seen again recently - this time caught on video over Illinois. Recent reports were made to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database where three unrelated witnesses in Texas and Kansas described the same object. The Illinois case may be another report.


On June 20, an Illinois witness noticed a bright object on the horizon, "a cluster of lights which seemed to be traveling together in formation."

The witness said "the formation appeared to be a cluster of roughly coplanar lights in a sort-of triangular arrangement. It made no sound at all. Judging from the way the scale of the object changed as it moved across the sky, I would guess that it was approximately at the same height as a passenger jet at cruising altitude."

US: UFO Traffic Report: 50,000 pound structure ripped out of ground

The UFO Traffic Report for Monday, June 29, 2009, includes 16 selected sightings over 13 states, according to witness statements filed in the past 72 hours with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

Today's stories include: Reports of a 50,000 pound structure being ripped out of the ground with news that animal mutilations occurred nearby on the same day; a Bright Light case in Georgia where the object gets 75 feet or closer to the ground; a disc 1,000 feet over Victorville, California; a triangle report over Florida; a glowing cone-shaped object over Columbus, Indiana; a fast-moving star-like object whizzing by Frisco, Texas; a silent, bullet-shaped object over Ohio; a hovering light over Pennsylvania skies with photo; a cigar-shaped object caught on camera over D.C.; a bright ball of light over Glenn Rose, Texas; a group near Floyd, Virginia, watching a Bright Light; a California witness reporting the high frequency of UFO traffic there; a flashing bright light over Oklahoma that ejected an orb; a fast-moving orb over Indiana estimated at just 5,000 feet; vacation photos from Sedona, Arizona, reveal strange object; and campers reporting an odd story from the San Gabriel Mountains.

Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If MUFON investigates and reports back on any of these cases, I will update this page.

Argentina: A Cattle Mutilation in Puelches

Another animal was found mutilated in a field in the Puelches region, some 280 km distant from the city of Santa Rosa, the provincial capital of La Pampa. The specimen involved was a Hereford, known locally as "raza pampa" (Pampa breed).

The animal presented typical incisions on one of its jaws, and was also missing one ear and inner ear, an eye, and had had all of its anal structure removed. The event took place at the Las Piletas ranch.

The owner, who works in the area, says that "lights" are frequently seen in the region and that in the month of April, during a warm evening, he was in the backyard accompanied by his son when the night "was suddenly turned to day" as a very large, bright object hovered over one of the cattle pens.

This photo was taken during the skywatch performed by the Centro de Estudios UFO (CEUFO) from the western sector of the city of Santa Rosa as part of the World UFO Research Day observations.

The photo was taken at 21:54 hours using a Nikon DC60 (ASA 1600) and will be subjected to analysis in order to determine if these images over the Don Tomás Lagoon are a reflection or indeed objects flying by at high speed.
