US: Unidentified Objects Seen over Appalachian Mts.

I was driving south on Route 11 about 9:15 PM Tuesday, Jan 5, 2010, with the Appalachian Mountains to my left. I have lived in this area my whole life and have never seen anything like this here before.

What I saw were two very large craft, side by side. They were flying west or northwest and were just right above the top of the mountain. I had only seen these craft for under a minute.

Looking at it to the left was craft one. It had four very large lights on it from left to right. There was a craft to the right of it with two large lights on it and a strobe in the middle.

I think it may be a fixed-wing military cargo plane because just as I was trying to pull over to get a better look, the craft tilted to the left and the craft next to it tilted as well and they went North along the mountain.

Location of Sighting: Aberdeen, New Jersey

Description: While outside with one of my dogs, I noticed some dim lights in the shape of a wing. The lights were not very bright. I think the object was only about 2,000 feet above me. This is a highly congested area close to New York City and Newark New Jersey. I observed the lights headed in a due north direction. I thought it was a jet in the flight path, but could barely see the wing shaped lights and, there was no noise. I routinely see jets in the flight paths and always hear their engines. There was no sound associated with the dim lights. The speed can only be estimated around 200 mph, but seemed the same speed planes in the flight path are doing. I observed the lights for approximately 10 seconds, and then they were gone. There were no blinking lights, no red or green lights. The lights were so dim as to not be able to determine a color other than that of dim headlights on an automobile running on an almost dead battery. There was no beam of light either.

Scotland: Witness sees several bright lights flying in formation, then one breaks away and takes a different path

Time: 8.10pm approximately

Witness Statement: I live in Blairgowrie and on Christmas Eve I received a phone call from daughter (who was out walking her dog at time) just after 8.00pm to look out my back door. I went out the back and, in the sky was I saw several clear bright lights in the sky. I think there was about 7 I saw although my daughter saw about 9 in total. They seemed to be in a formation and not on the flight path of any aeroplanes I have seen previously passing over traveling roughly in an Easterly to Westerly direction. They were very bright, with no flashing lights and no sound, they seemed to be following a specific path.

Before this is dismissed as an orange Chinese lantern, the wind speed was 2.5m/s (light breeze) (source - weatherquest.co.uk) and the wind direction was North -north-east. I took these still pictures from two short videos I made from my front gate looking out South-West across Norwich below. The lights I saw (5 in total) all headed South-west AGAINST the breeze. These balls of light moved very fast in a way I can only describe as like demented fireflies and were so large and bright that one lit my bathroom like a sun-set and they lit huge sections of the street orange. The lights did not diminish in brightness as they moved approximately 2 miles away down over the city. I was barefoot in the snow and my view became blocked by trees and buildings so I concentrated upon the lights nearby and cannot say what became of the others.

Alaska's Creature Of Cryptozoology The Hairy Man - The Urayuli

The Urayuli or "Hairy Man" is a famous Cryptid located in Southwest Alaska. It has several other names, such as Arulataq, Bushman, Big Man, Tent Monster, Nant'ina, and Woodsman.

The Urayuli, as described, stands about 6 to 10 feet tall and is covered with shaggy, coarse hair or fur of approximately 2 to 4 inches long. It has glowing eyes and is said to look somewhat like the extinct primates. Its arms are elongated enough that the creature can reach its ankles.

The Urayuli lives in the wide tundra areas near Lake Iliamna. This quick and agile Alaskan Cryptid is oftentimes seen traveling at night and is a fast swimmer. It is often blamed for stealing fish and dogs, as well as destroying the tents of nearby campers. Many people from that particular region have their stories of encounters with the creature.

In 1956, a fisherman spotted the Urayuli as he was anchoring his fishing boat on the beach at night. A biologist from Ketchikan had later found and took a photograph of huge human-like footprints on the same beach.

Location of Sighting: Scarborough, Ontario, Canada (See Map)

Description: I went to bed last night around 11 pm and at 6 am I was awakened by my girlfriend telling me to come see this. I looked out the window to see a red and white object moving slowly. I then went outside with my girlfriend and she looked to the left. There were 2 circular objects that were red, white and blue lights and we looked at the one in front. There were like 14 other small blue objects that were flying towards the red light. Then, the blue lights would go to the red light and then leave.

There has been a lot of unusual activity around where we live.

I went to get footage last night and my video camera was full. Then it all the sudden went dead as I tried to take a photograph. Let me know what you think and if you have people in Toronto that study this unusual activity.

Time: 7:00 pm, Late about 12?

Witness Statement: The first time I saw these was at the BP Garage in Bracknell, Berkshire near Homebase. Orange orbs flickering flying about 100 yards apart but perfectly aligned and moving quickly and deliberately swept over the trees opposite the entrance to the garage and continued in the direction of the twin bridges roundabout adjusting their height as they went to avoid obstacles and changing formation by spinning on their center axis and changing places.

Witness Statement: We were driving along and saw 2 pale orange spheres about 500ft up in the sky coming from a North Easterly direction and traveling in a South Westerly direction. Our first thoughts were that they were too near together to be 2 aircraft, but too far apart to be one. We stopped the car and watched them. The one on the right then swung round in an arch coming round under the one on the left and rose to merge with it. The instant they merged they disappeared (like someone switching off a light). The sky was clear - was no cloud and no noise.

Witness Statement: Went out for a walk with my partner to see how much snow there was on the ground and immediately noticed a multi-cloured flashing series of lights emulating from a single object in the sky which seemed to be at high altitude. It was noticeable because it was the only light in the sky and was definitely not Venus - I know Venus and have seen it many times - Venus is a brilliant white point - this was pulsating multi-colours. After a short while clouds blocked the object from view - but after passing the object was gone!

US: UFO or what? Strange blue lights over Tracy, California caught on video

No one in Tracy is quite sure what to make of the sight, but the appearance of strange blue light in the skies over the town prompted several calls to News10 as well as the Tracy Police Department Thursday night.

The sight of the blue light, which seemed to rise and fall and blink off and on over Tracy Thursday generated plenty of calls to the Tracy Police Department after it first appeared around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Tracy police Sgt. Tony Sheneman.
