Witness Statement: I had just got home from work as a driver and noticed that my wife was standing at our front door having a smoke when she summoned me to see what she was looking at. There were about a dozen or so very bright orange lights in the sky in perfect formation. I immediately thought they were chinese lanterns. We watched them for quite some considerable time, they did not move, as one would expect a lantern to do. Three of these lights moved off very fast in a perfect line whilst the others stayed still, if they had been lanterns ALL of them would have moved together but at least 9 stood stationary for about half an hour, physically impossible for lanterns to do this. We noticed that the three that left earlier came back and rejoined these 9 other lights, yet again, impossible for lanterns to do this.

The footage of a UFO flying near the River Liffey in Dublin has left experts thinking it could either be a secret aircraft or spacecraft.


In the video, a triangular formation of lights was filmed flying at night at "incredible speed".

"The video seems to have been taken through a night scope and presumably shows things not visible to the naked eye," the Sun quoted Nick Pope, who probed mystery sightings for the MoD for three years, as saying.

The photo at right that might show a UFO in the background was taken in Roscommon, Ireland and handed over to MUFON for inspection with the following note:

My daughter photographed me at Stokestown House, in Roscommon Ireland, the witness stated. While inspecting the photos on my PC [ Eximil Casio S600 ] I noticed a funny shape over my head. The zoom showed a sort of Saturn-like object. On the other photo of the house, a small sphere seemed to float over the house. I was hoping a photo expert could distinguish the possibilities.

Could this photo show an alien craft?

Residents of the 'village' - actually a modern estate on the edge of Leyland, Lancashire - have been reporting sightings of the shaggy, hulking creature for months.

The initial consensus was that it is a wild boar forced out of the countryside by the cold weather as it strives to find food, but experts have said one would be unlikely to kill deer.

Resident Tony Kenvig caught sight of the beast as it rifled through his bins late one night, and described it as resembling a dark-coloured hyena.

"All the rubbish was strewn over my garden,' he wrote in an online forum.

"This happened on a few occasions, and one night I heard snuffles and looked out of my window and saw some kind of hyena standing rigid on its back legs.'

Right after we saw this thing, my wife came in the house and started typing about our experience. That's when the big jet flew over, and I ran out of the house to look at it.

When I came back in, I sat down with my wife and we worked together to describe what happened. We kept talking to each other about the details, trying to explain what we saw, and we couldn't explain it, only talk about it.

Description: I was feeding my dog in my backyard when I took a little glimpse of the sky above me and I saw this little flash of white light just straight up in the middle of the sky near the belt of the Orion constellation. At first I thought that it was an aircraft, but after watching it for a couple of seconds I realized it wasn't an airplane. There where no other lights, just this little white flash almost like an airplane strobe light. It wasn't moving at all so I discarded the aircraft possibility. Then I thought of a satellite, but I have seen satellites before and they move a lot faster than this object so I eliminated that possibility also. It appeared to be in the vicinity of the 50,000 plus feet range. It just stood there for like 5 minutes and then it just disappeared. This is the third time that I seen this phenomena where I live. It was definitely a UFO. If you have any information on this type of sighting, let me know. Thank you.

Shropshire Star reader GaryJones reached for his mobile phone camera when he spotted something unusual in the sky over Monkmoor, Shrewsbury, on Sunday night.

Mr Jones estimates the bright, flashing object was around 1,500 metres away when he spotted it at 6pm.

Chapter 14 of Dr. Berthold E. Schwarz's book UFO DYNAMICS, Book I, (1983) contains the story he was told of a very strange Man In Black (MIB) encounter described to him by a Maine physician, Dr. Herbert Hopkins. Shirley Fickett of Portland, Maine, was actually the first researcher to interview Dr. Hopkins about this mysterious and frightening sounding event. Here is her initial report:

"Call From Mrs. Hopkins"
September 12, 1976:

I received a call from Mrs. Hopkins approximately 1:00 p.m. stating that the previous evening her husband Dr. Hopkins had received a visit from an MIB. She was quite shaken and said the Doctor had been told to dispose of all his UFO material.

I visited the home of the Doctor on the above date and stated here is what he related to me.

His wife Madeline had gone to the outdoor movie with an elder son and his wife. Also, without knowing it the Doctor's younger son and his girlfriend were also at the same outdoor movie. This left the Doctor alone in the house, an occurrence that hadn't happened for some time.

The Doctor, a spiritualist minister, had just called Etna, Me (spiritual convention is held there). It was about 8:00 p.m. After his call the phone rang. Answering it, a man at the other end stated that he was the Vice President of "N.J. UFO Research Foundation." He gave no name but said he was a personal friend of Betty and Barney Hill. He had read about the Stephens case in "Official UFO" and wanted to talk to the Doctor about the case. The Doctor invited the man over, giving directions on how to get there to which the man replied he already knew where the Doctor was.

The Doctor put the phone on the hook and went to put the porch light on and the visitor was there immediately. He had asked if he was phoning from the area and he had said yes. (There is no public phone that could deliver him there that fast!)

On Monday, January 18, 2010, a Mexicana de Aviaciaon Airbus-A320 flew close to a UFO as it went over Xochimilco, according to Alfonso Salazar (UFO researcher and aviation technician)

This occurred as the airliner made its climbing maneuvers to achieve an appropriate altitude for a straight and level flight. The time was 11:55 a.m.

The Mexican airliner flew some 200 meters form a spherical, seemingly metallic object that changed colors (from aluminum gray to brilliant red). The aircraft was heading east of Mexico City while the object headed south.

The details of this case - involving two high-level officials with a prominent Argentinean banking institution - were made known by this author over two decades ago in a specialized Spanish publication. Nonetheless, we found it interesting to republish it now, but from a different perspective, according to the knowledge on the UFO phenomenon that has been accepted since then and which provide us with a more sophisticated view of the case.

Let us recall, then, that on an unspecified day in May 1972, Messrs. Ivo Dugour and Nestor Berlingeri, who at the time were managers of the Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, headquartered in Capital Federal, headed from Buenos Aires to Mar del Plata along National Highway 2. These trips to the interior of the country were done frequently due to banking activities.

We learned of this case through Mr. Ruben Luzuriaga, a colleague and friend of the aforementioned parties. It was thanks to their intercession that we managed to speak with the parties, overcoming their initial reticence about discussing an event that was perhaps too fantastic for conventional understanding. Thus, we were able to interview them separately and collect their respective versions of the shared experience.
