Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was coming back from the shop in Hemel Hempstead when my partner noticed a light in the sky. I said it was a plane, but after looking myself I could see no flashing lights, just what looked like something on fire high in the sky. It was orange and just looked like a small fire floating up high, it was not going particularly fast and just went at a steady pace in a straight line, it definitely was not a shooting star either.
On Saturday evening about 10.45 pm my husband and son we were just coming out of an Indian restaurant which is on the back streets behind Plymouth Aquarium. We had a taxi waiting to take us home. We were taken back by 5 red balls (very bright) and low going very slowly across the sky. It was a very clear night with stars around.
One of the balls was lagging behind a little bit but they were soon all together in a straight line. It was uncanny because there was no noise and they were going quite slowly. We did not have any camera's on us, but thought someone else may have seen them. We did not see them vanish across the sky as unfortunately we could not let the taxi wait any longer.
One of Canada's top archeologists argues in a new book that the prehistoric ancestors of this country's 55,000 Inuit probably migrated rapidly from Alaska clear across the Canadian North in just a few years - not gradually over centuries as traditionally assumed - after they learned about a rich supply of iron from a massive meteorite strike on Greenland's west coast.
The startling theory, tentatively floated two decades ago by Canadian Museum of Civilization curator emeritus Robert McGhee, has been bolstered by recent research indicating a later and faster migration of the ancient Thule Inuit across North America's polar frontier than previously believed.
Now, in a just-published volume of essays by some of the world's leading Arctic archeologists, McGhee advances his theory - a 4,000-kilometre beeline quest for iron from Greenland's famous Cape York meteorite deposit - as the likeliest explanation for the sudden spread of the Thule culture across Canada around 1250 AD.

Time of Sighting: 7:37 PM PST
Location of Sighting: San Jose, California (N. CA About 30 Miles SE of San Francisco)
Description: I saw an object of the following description:
Motion: Steady and straight, quick.
Sound: Silent.
Direction: Southeast (more east).
Color: Large white/yellow light in front and possibly two lights in back.
Shape: Somewhat triangular.
Location of Sighting: Ystrad Mynach, South Wales
Date of Sighting: 7th February 2010
Time: About 5.45 pm
Witness Statement: I noticed a bright orange light through my window. At first I thought it was a reflection of a street lamp on the window itself but when I looked I could see that it was in the sky in roughly the direction of Tesco (I live in the centre of town). I watched it for as far as I could and did video it with my mobile phone( I won't put it on Youtube and provide a link cos',quite frankly the quality is really poor and it is just an orange dot on the screen1 lol). The weird thing is that about ten seconds before it went out of view (obscured by buildings) the light went out and I could clearly see with the naked eye that it was a dark object.
Contributing editor Ana Luisa Cid writes: "On January 21, 2010 Mr. Alfredo Mosco recorded a shape-shifting flying object over San Miguel Iztapalapa, to the east of the Mexican capital.

Scared by a Lake Serpent.
Alpena, Michigan, June 19. - The residents for a long distance along Thunder Bay are terrified over the appearance of a monster lake serpent. A farmer named Isaacson recently found a trail about a foot wide through a plowed field. It led down to the bay, where there were indications of its presence. Mr. Isaacson's boy, Grant, was planting potatoes in a field near the house, and was frightened to see a huge snake moving toward him. The boy had with him a double-barreled shot-gun, and fired twice at the monster, when it went over the ground as lively as a horse, and glided into the bay.

Some folks share their stories with Cryptomundo. Here's one received this week, unedited for content. It appears to fall into the classification of "Giant Serpent Folklore."
More than twelve years ago, an elderly Piute Indian lady and a male friend - both from Price, Utah - were chasing down a Piute story from the lady's youth. The lady's grandfather had said there was an undergound city, and gold mines, under the Henry Mountains in Utah, near the former site of what the grandfather described as the "Serpent Temple". The grandfather had a hand drawn picture of the entrance to the temple - showing giant snakes carved in rock. He claimed the picture was from his family and the temple had been destroyed and buried to hide the site. To shorten the story substantially, in their searches of the mountain, the male claims to have been watching some cattle at a spring near the site and suddenly saw a monstrous snake strike a small under 1 year old calf of say 150+ lbs in size. He estimated the snake to be over 35ft in length. He claimed it knocked the calf over and quickly wrapped around it and he watched fascinated and terrified as it took a rather long period of time to engulf the calf.

Time: around 4.30 till about 5.30
Witness Statement: Hey me and my mate was out in town like you would do on a Saturday night and we was just walking round and then we see about 18 at least red lights in a triangle shape, no JOKE! So me and my mate are like wtf and we follow them so we get under them, if you get me. Then they started forming a line 1 behind another behind another and so on. Then they would all stop and let the 1 at the front go fever away from the pack and then disappear and that would keep happening until they was all gone. Did any one else see it! ???
Location of Sighting: Area between RAF Shawbury and the Wrekin hill
Date of Sighting: 07/02/2010
Time: approx 0140 hours
Witness Statement: I was woken up in the early hours of this morning by what i think were two typhoon fighter jets flying around quite low for approx 20 mins over my house and the area between RAF Shawbury and the Wrekin. It was as if the were either chasing something or looking for something because they were flying back and forth and very low, I would say about 600ft at times. They shot of towards the Wreking Hill after about 20 mins because there was a bright flash that came from behind the hill.
