Scotland: Witnesses watched 2 orange lights in the sky and when lights were 'switched off' silhouette could still be seen

Witness Statement: We were walking from Kippford along an unlit country road, in a northerly direction when we saw two orange lights moving about in the sky. At first we thought this was a rescue helicopter, but the speed of movement & changes in direction showed that it was not an aircraft or helicopter. The orange light was switched off for periods, however the silhouette of the object could still be seen, but with no lights on it. There were aircraft about, on the usual approach to the UK & Glasgow, with the usual navigation lights, and stars visible in the sky. Eventually the two objects just moved very quickly away, then they came back, just over the trees and then moved upwards & away.

Rotten egg smell hits Australian city

Rotten egg gas leaking from a sewer made 22 people ill, caused traffic chaos and closed businesses in North Rockhampton yesterday.

The alarm was raised about noon, when employees of businesses on Glenmore Road started complaining of headaches and nausea and were vomiting.

A number of workplaces on Glenmore Road between Dooley, Park and Robinson streets were evacuated as a precaution and employees were later sent home.

While paramedics treated those affected on scene, three people were taken to Rockhampton Hospital.

Police closed Glenmore Road at 1.50pm, causing delays and further difficulties as some heavy vehicles struggled to manoeuvre through traffic and back-street detours.

Glenmore Road was not re-opened until 5pm, when Rockhampton Regional Council engineers declared the area safe.

Alamosa - Authorities in Colorado's San Luis Valley are trying to solve a series of bizarre, gruesome slaying: cows, mutilated, carved up, left to die in the fields.

Police are stumped. But rancher Mike Duran, who lost two of his cows to mutilation last December, has a theory that is literally out of this world. He says it was aliens.

"It's almost like the animal was taken away, killed, surgically manipulated and brought back," Duran told us.

Some of the wounds on one cow were "like laser cuts," he said. "There was no blood. No tracks. No witnesses at all."

"Some people say it was a cult. But even if it was a cult, we would find tracks or something like that."

In Duran's mind, that leaves only one other option.

"I believe there are aliens. People may laugh at me for thinking that," Duran said. "(The aliens) do what they have to, and then they bring (the cows) back and they drop them back in the field. And that's why there are no tracks."

Duran is not alone.

UK: Mysterious Orange Lights Baffle Christchurch Residents

Mysterious lights in the sky over Bournemouth on Saturday have left some residents baffled.

A couple arriving home at, Mudeford, Christchurch on Saturday emailed the Echo to ask if anyone else had seen them.

They said: "Does anyone know what the orange lights were in the night sky on Saturday?

"My husband and I were returning home and saw a spherical bright orange light - at first we thought it could be a fireball but then it was followed by three others that we saw.

US: 'Portal' opens up from small, bright light floating across Florida lawn (November 2009)

A Florida witness has no explanation after watching a small, bright, white light that moved across his lawn and then opened up into what seemed to be a portal, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"So here I am leaning out of our screen room watching as a very bright, very small (maybe 1 quarter of an inch) light no more than 36 inches from me," the witness stated. "I didn't know what to think, then (here's the good part) I could see some kind of a square outline in the middle of the light, and then all of a sudden it shot up into some type of a portal within maybe 4 inches off the ground, and it was gone."

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Florida MUFON State Director G. Bland Pugh investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

US: Multiple UFOs spotted over Gig Harbor, Washington concern witness

A Gig Harbor, Washington, witness reports a diamond-shaped object on May 1, 2010, that turned into a circle-eight figure, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

A few weeks later, the same witness watched "a round orb like thing with a half circular arc just as bright coming out of the orb from top to bottom." One hour later, a similar object moved across the same sky.

"These objects were without a doubt not planes nor helicopters," the witness stated. "We have had quite a bit of F-16 type jets and apache/military looking helicopters buzzing over I think as a result these past few nights. We do not normally see these military type craft directly over us."

The witness is also concerned about "chem trails" in his area.

Gig Harbor is the name of both a bay on Puget Sound and a city on its shore in Pierce County, population 6,465.

US: Multiple bright moving lights and 32 crop circles appear in Hidden Valley, CA

A Hidden Valley, California, witness is wondering why neighbors are not noticing or reporting the multiple bright lights moving around the sky at night and the sudden occurrence of approximately 32 crop circles in the same location, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"Last week I saw the most beautiful lights rotating around something on the hill, I had never seen such pure white lights," the witness stated. "After about 30 min. only two lights remained at that spot. Some of the lights are also golden in color."

With all the local activity going on, the witness is questioning why others are not coming forward.

"I am not sure what is going on here in Hidden Valley, but whatever it is, it is increasing. I have only shared this with family as I DO NOT want them to be scared away. And I cannot believe my neighbors haven't noticed! People just don't even look up anymore, they are so into their own heads."

In the public portion of the MUFON statement, the witness did not specify which Hidden Valley, CA, location these events are occurring at. There are Hidden Valley locations in El Dorado, Placer, and Ventura counties.

US: Ohio witness reports four lights rotating in sky

An Ohio witness watched four lights the size of a quarter held at arm's length that rotated clockwise, then stopped and rotated counter-clockwise on May 16, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"The lights all rotated clockwise in a circle around an arbitrary point," the witness stated. "After one and a half rotations, the four lights stopped momentarily and converged to a central point. At the central point, the four lights again paused for a moment, then returned to their positions and proceeded to rotate, again, counterclockwise."

No town name was provided in the public portion of the MUFON report.

US: Silent bright light passes over Arizona

An Arizona couple watched a bright light move toward their location on May 16, 2010, with no blinking lights that then seemed to fade into nothing, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"It never changed altitude, or veer east or west," the reporting witness stated. "It seemed to head in a direct north to south line though it actually seemed to slightly "flutter" as it moved--it wasn't totally smooth in flight which seemed strange because airplanes do travel "smoothly.' "

US: Series of red-orange balls of light reported over New York

A New York witness is reporting a series of red-orange balls of light moving across the night sky on May 15, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUF0N) witness reporting database.

"When the first one disappeared two more balls appeared from the same direction as the first two and went south," the witness stated. "This happened maybe three times for a total of eight or ten objects. They were moving kinda slow and each pair were evenly spaced apart. The balls were dark orange and red swirling around inside. It looked like an orange red liquid marble of fire. At some point I decided to get my video camera but by time I got back outside the last one was gone."

A similar report was made from Portland, Oregon, on May 17, 2010, in Multiple red-orange balls of light move over Portland sky.
