Johor Baru - It's a strange sight indeed - three sets of muddy footprints, one set looking like it belonged to a tiger, another like it was an elephant's and the last resembling a human's but much bigger in size.

The trail of footprints that stretched close to 1km near the Endau Rompin forest reserve have retirees Sia Chwee Khim, 64, and her husband Lim Teong Kheng, 66, puzzled and very excited.

They believe the last set may be that of the mythical "Bigfoot".

The couple, their daughter Joanna, 30, and a group of friends from Singapore decided to follow the tracks for more than 1km on May 10.

"It was just astounding - the creature or creatures had walked in the damp red soil and onto the tar road, leaving clear footprints for us to see," said Sia, adding that the group took countless pictures and even measured the large footprints, which were about 48cm long and 11cm wide.

"We tried to mimic the steps but could not stretch our legs to match the distance of the stride.

If you've always dreamed of owning a mansion but don't have the funds required to make it a reality, then this property on the market in Illinois could be just the ticket.

The Hiram B Scutt Mansion, former home of the Civil War veteran and barbed wire tycoon who gave it its name, is up for sale for just $159,900 (£95,000).

Built in 1882, the three-storey, red-brick building in Joliet covers 4,960 square-feet and is on the United States' National Register of Historic Places.

But as the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, that's probably because it is - the sprawling residence is also said to be haunted, Patch.com reported.

The house was bought by real estate broker Brian Kearney in 2004. Two years later football players from the University of St Francis rented out the building and threw a party.

Residents in Mengchang village in the province of Heilongjiang were stirred Friday when three unidentified flying objects fell from the sky and landed into a vegetable garden.

The Yi'an county government confirmed that unidentified objects - metallic balls half-covered by a layer of jagged edge - dropped from the sky.

"Villagers in Mengchang heard a loud noise and then saw big ball of fire falling from the sky and into a vegetable garden," the county government said.

"I saw a huge ball of fire, I thought it was a meteorite. I hid inside my house and waited until the object has landed," said one villager who lives near the vegetable farm.

However, a report on Saturday said the unidenfied objects could be part of a Russian rocket, called Proton-M, that crashed outside of Kazakhstan's territory on Friday.

As a name, Hessdalen may be more familiar to UFO watchers than scientists. The valley in Norway is prone to "strange, hovering, flashing balls of lights" best attributed, as some believe, to alien origins. Now scientists say they're on the verge of an explanation: The valley is a giant natural battery.

But first, let's set the scene, as Caroline Williams does wonderfully in her piece about the Hessdalen phenomenon for New Scientist. On a cold, dark Norwegian night about a dozen times a year, you might see this:

Sometimes the lights are as big as cars and can float around for up to 2 hours. Other times they zip down the valley before suddenly fading away. Then there are the blue and white flashes that come and go in the blink of an eye, and daytime sightings that look like metallic objects in the sky.

An Australian film crew believes it captured two UFOs on film near Queenstown. The Colour in your Life film crew told MailOnline they spotted the UFO while editing their footage this week.

The film crew captured the footage - of what appears to be two objects racing across the South Island sky - while filming a scene of a motorbike riding across a bridge. Colour in your Life production manager Tanita Cree told MailOnline that the team were blown away when they took a closer look at the footage.

"We were all like, what was that?" she said.

After slowing down the film, the two shapes can be seen above the trees moving across the sky and disappearing.

"It was the speed they were moving at, they just jumped out of the trees," Ms Cree said.

The production team posted the video to YouTube and shared it on their Facebook page. They got an immediate response, including from someone who said they might be ducks.

"From the trees to where I was on the bike is about a half a kilometre, if you look at the speed in real time that means that if it were birds they would have accelerated to about 4,000 kilometres an hour in one second," a member of the production team posted to Facebook.

The Colour in your Life crew was filming an episode of their art television show with interviews with artists around the South Island.

Mystery continues in North Carolina: Roof hole not from plane part

Edneyville - A piece of metal that crashed through a man's roof was not an aircraft part, a Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman said Wednesday.

Neither the FAA nor the Henderson County Sheriff's Office has been able to tell Robert Poer exactly what the object is or how it ended up falling through his roof and into the second floor of his home.

The FAA is done with its portion of investigation, spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said.

"It doesn't look like I'm going to get very far for anybody to pay for it," Poer said. "It looks like I'm going to have to eat it, unfortunately."

Poer discovered the hole in his roof Monday. The Sheriff's Office began its investigation that day and will continue its attempt to figure out what happened.

"We may never know what it came from, but we're certainly still looking into it," Chief Deputy Frank Stout said.

Strange object falls from the sky at high speed in Minnesota

A man in the United States says that he was sitting quietly watching TV when a UFO smashed through his window and landed in his TV.


Bob Urman from Saint Paul, Minnesota, said that the strange object flew so fast that it broke through his double pane window, broke glass all over the floor and was so hot that it burned his carpet.

And now some are speculating that the object really did come from space, and might have been a piece of junk falling out of orbit onto the Earth.

"It scared the living heck out of me," said Urman, according to Kare11.

What's that in the sky over Amarillo?

"It was the strangest thing I've seen, as far as aviation," said Dean Musket, part of the motley crew of airplane buffs who sits down at an airport restaurant in this West Texas city and looks up.

"They are aviation junkies," waitress Erin Williamson said. "They love it."

And they are seeing things you can't see anywhere else.

Military aircraft cruise over Amarillo like sharks looking for baitfish.

"If you're flying east, west, or vice-versa across the United States, you're probably flying over Amarillo," Steve Douglass said.

A group that might be called the "interceptor club" watches everything military that flies over. But back in March, they spotted three craft they'd never seen before, about six miles up.

"We had captured something completely unique," Douglass said.

It was trianuglar, like a stealth bomber... but not a stealth bomber.

"The back edge was smooth like a Dorito," Douglass said. "It wasn't jagged."

A few weeks later, the same shape was snapped by another spotter in Kansas.
