There has long been speculation about the mythical creature but latest clips could reveal the truth once and for all

A group of Russians claim to have captured the best footage of bigfoot.

The adventurers spotted what they described as a hairy bear-sized humanoid that marched out of the woods before disappearing seconds later.

The recording came when a group of people from the city of Adygeisk set off in search of the mysterious creature after a local TV station reported that it had been sighted in a remote region.

They said they had questioned the people at a mountainside lodge who claimed to have seen the creature, and managed to get several independent confirmations that there was something out there.

A suspicious pack of what appeared to be a group of large animals has sparked a viral debate about a possible sasquatch sighting in Arizona.

The Arizona Department of Transportation was behind the latest announcement -- and conspiracy theories began to grow after they posted a photo from a highway patrol camera.

It wasn't Big Foot enthusiasts reading too deeply into a suspicious photo; the government officials were the ones to suggest that something sinister -- and mysterious -- was going on.

Comment: Though it is not clear what these creatures are, Arizona is in the news for a number of UFO sightings and other strange phenomena.

Question

Strange gray creature seen in Ohio

Image
Not much of a creature, I'd say, just two really, really long legs joined somewhere above, making a little pustule of a head, but that, believe it or not, is the creature reportedly seen by a man in Ohio this 12 December. Could it be a mutant? A gray alien? A mutated gray alien? I'll leave the speculation out for the readers.

The 60-year-old man who had allegedly seen the creature this 12th December, was contacted by the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), who say that it'll be interesting to find out about similar sightings in the locality. The Highland County Press published an account of the man's bizarre encounter, mentioning that it was while driving along Carmel Road in Ohio that he spotted this gray creature.

'It was us': CIA 'fesses up on UFO sightings in 1950-60s

Image

The Central Intelligence Agency has admitted that it was responsible for at least half of reported UFO sightings in the middle of the last century due to its secret, high-altitude reconnaissance flights.

The 1950s and '60s was an intense period when a number of Americans reported UFO sightings and alien visitations. These sensational events lent cinematic credence to a number of Hollywood space blockbusters, including Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind and ET, and George Lucas's Star Wars.

Now it appears the unidentified flying objects were more fact than fantasy, while the mind behind them was not quite alien.

This week, the CIA took to social media to claim responsibility for at least half of UFO sightings in the 1950s and 60s.

"Reports of unusual activity in the skies in the '50s? It was us," the agency tweeted, while acknowledging the section on UFOs attracted the most attention to its website in 2014.

Comment: Great. Now, after CIA "admitted its involvement", we know that it probably wasn't them. At least not in most of the cases. Once denial was easy, see the following chart as an example:

But now, in the age of iphones and dashcams, a more sophisticated excuse must be fabricated, including taking care of history. One can also wonder, with all the increased meteorite and UFO activity, if CIA isn't preparing the ground for future damage control.

The mystery of UVB-76: Radio station has 'buzzed' every second since the 1970s - but no one knows why

Suddenly the piercing buzzing noise that has continued incessantly for months stops. A cold voice takes over.

'U-V-B-7-6,' is read out in a thick Russian accent, before listing a series of code words and numbers. Then, just as suddenly, it ends. The buzzing returns, for another few months.

That is what has greeted listeners of a mysterious radio station nicknamed 'The Buzzer' - and code named UVB-76, or more recently MDZhB - since the 1970s.

But what the Buzzer is doing, or who is broadcasting it, remains a mystery - with theories ranging from the Russian military to atmospheric research.
Image
© websdr.ewlA Russian radio station has played a buzzing sound on frequency 4625 kHz (shown) for four decades. Every few months it is interrupted by a voice relaying a coded message. But no one knows the exact purpose of the station or the message. Some say it is a military station, or a counter-attack measure for nuclear war
The Buzzer is a shortwave radio station of unknown origin.

Although its noise has changed slightly over the preceding 40 years, it has always involved some form of regular buzzing, interrupted by a voice on rare occasions seemingly reading out a message.

Today, 25 times every minute, it spends less than a second buzzing, pauses, then buzzes again - endlessly.

The strange and unexplained phenomenon of raining stones

Image
© ShutterstockWhile high winds or tornadoes may explain how some objects (such as fish or frogs) have been swept up and rained down on the Earth, it seems unlikely that days-long rains of large stones can be explained this way
The universe is full of mysteries that challenge our current knowledge. In "Beyond Science" Epoch Times collects stories about these strange phenomena to stimulate the imagination and open up previously undreamed of possibilities. Are they true? You decide.

Throughout history, there have been numerous recorded instances of strange objects falling from the sky - fish, frogs, candy, jellyfish, beans, nuts, seeds, and all manner of bizarre and unlikely objects. A popular theory explains these events as being caused by strong winds that whisk things up from the ground or water and hurl them towards an unsuspecting town many miles away. But can this theory also explain showers of heavy stones that have been known to damage houses and even kill people and livestock?

A Long History of Raining Objects

One of the first recorded instances of "raining" objects comes from the writings of Roman philosopher and naturalist Pliny the Elder, who documented storms of frogs and fish in the 1st century A.D. in what is now Italy.

The baffling blaze took hold on the settee inside a letting shop in Fulham, south west London

These pictures show the bizarre square-shaped fire which ripped through a sofa inside a shop.

Passer-by Ragini Patel was on her way to Sainsbury's just before 9am on Sunday when the young son of a neighbour told her he could see a settee on fire inside the Lettings Company shop in Fulham Road, London which has two floors of flats above.

The long-time Fulham resident quickly called the fire brigade who had to smash down the estate agent's door to put the fire out which started in a square shape and slowly spread out to burn the entire sofa.

She told Get West London: "I was just going to Sainsbury's in the morning when my neighbour's son told me there was a fire in the shop.

"I looked in and a square-shaped fire was burning into the sofa.

"It was very odd.

"I called the fire brigade straight away then started filming because it was very bizarre, I couldn't figure out how it had started."

A mysterious creature with sharp claws and pointy teeth was discovered on a beach in Santa Barbara on Tuesday after the most recent storm hitting the area.

The apparent monster is brownish in color and was discovered near a drain washout, reports KEYT.com. The unidentified beast has left residents baffled and no one has been able to identify the species of animal found on the shore nor do they know where it came from.

Santa Barbara saw brutal storms over the past few days that left behind damage in the area.

A similar looking creature was found in San Diego back in June of 2012. The picture was taken by Josh Menard, a 19-year-old snowboarder from Lake Tahoe.
