'Really strange noises' were heard across Liverpool in the early hours of this morning and there are now questions over what it might be.

Houses in Kensington were left shaking during the '15 minute' episode which one resident says could have been a horn on a ship. Others living near the area also experienced the vibrating and heard the noise but came up with different answers as to where the sounds were coming from.

Clark Ribing, 32, says he heard the noise but has 'no clue what it could be'. The Hall Lane resident said: "It was a really loud vibration sound which I assume was coming from the sky. I haven't got a clue what it was but it was very loud and must have been heard all over Liverpool. It's really strange as the exact same noise was heard in Canada in 2013 too, I saw it on YouTube."

Mr Ribing experienced the noise for around 20 seconds at about 1am this morning. Gary Maloney, who is based in Kensington, also says he heard a 'loud vibrating noise' at about 12.30am. He said: "It sounded like it was coming from the docks. "It was vibrating the whole house and sounded like a horn on a ship." Mr Maloney says he heard the 'horn' for about 15 minutes.

The report from an alleged UFO sighting by the Chilean military over two years ago has just been declassified and the internet is abuzz with speculation - this is one mystery that has experts completely stumped.

The Chilean government agency which investigates UFOs, the CEFAA, reports that a naval helicopter was carrying out a routine daylight coastal patrol in November 2014 when the camera operator noticed an unidentified flying object ahead.

It was flying horizontally and at a steady speed similar to that of the helicopter.

A picture is going viral on Facebook that appears to show a "demon." The photo was posted by Richard Christianson and has been shared more than 60,000 times.

The image appears to show a large, dark figure with wings and spikes on its head. The "demon" stands taller than a nearby home. Christianson captioned the photo, "What the hell do you see in this picture for reals ??? Anybody"

Many people on Facebook are arguing that it's either a demon or an angel. So, what do YOU see?

Strange lights spotted on New Year's Eve over the town of Queen Creek, Arizona, may have been explained in an eyewitness report. The mysterious lights, which were speculated to be anything from fireworks to an alien invasion, were simply paper lanterns, according to the local woman's explanation.

Julie Baumann, a consultant with marketing company Isagenix, said that she spotted three bright lights in the sky shortly before the beginning of the new year. "I just saw these three lights consecutively spaced out and they were close so it definitely caught my eye," Baumann told NBC 12. "They were moving slow. They didn't speed up or slow down."

The community came alive with jokes, theories, and debate over the nature of the lights. The most popular theory was, of course, a UFO. But Baumann, who took a video of the lights with her phone, believes it to be a far more mundane phenomenon. "We were looking at it, all of us and we were going 'OK, it's definitely just paper lanterns'... the other three [lights] were like a ball of light and the last one just looked like a plastic bag floating in the wind," she said.

While not everyone is satisfied by this explanation, Baumann is confident that her eyewitness account is accurate. "It draws that curiosity of what could it be and aliens and I know people want to believe what they want to believe... but I saw three lit paper bags and one unlit paper bag."

The reports from Queen Creek came just a day after a pair of Englishmen in the town of Exmouth, in Devon, claimed to have seen a "white object" in the sky that many labeled a UFO. Others said that it was an airplane contrail, dyed an unusual orange color by the setting sun. Three days before that, another report from England detailed a mysterious light over the city of Sheffield.

The Queen Creek lights were the second fourth-quarter 2016 UFO sighting in the town of 33,000. Streaks of light reported in late October were quickly described by locals as signs of alien life.

"The massive crop circle is a humongous 300-foot figure that occupies two acres of land and features a number of mysterious symbols that according to researchers are TWENTY astrological symbols adorning its edges..."

Crop circles have always been a mystery for the entire scientific community. They have been appearing around the entire globe, out of nowhere, for decades but some of the more recent formations are truly mind-boggling.

The latest reported case of crop circles in the UK is one of the most enigmatic ones in recent years and has fascinated a number of veteran crop circle researchers who have seen plenty of these in their lifetime and are not easily impressed.

The amazing crop circle just appeared on a farm in the UK and it's a 300 foot figure, covering an area or 2 acres. There are numerous mysterious symbols within the circle which as researchers say are supposed to represent 20 astrological symbols, all lined up around the edges of the circle.

Unidentified Falling Object -- it's a UFO that has one local man scratching his head. His van damaged by a large object, but so far, no one can say exactly what that object is.

The damage is extensive, the owner of the van thinks the object fell from the sky. It's a mystery that plays out like an episode of The X-Files.

"I was like, what is that?! What happened?! I kept looking around and I couldn't see where it came from. It had to have come from the sky," said Michael Robinson.You could classify this case as an "X-Mas File" just days before the holiday and Marshall Robinson is getting a special delivery. Maybe it fell from Santa's sleigh, or maybe it came from space.

"It's like a cone shape, but on the top it's heavy and inside it's hollow," said Robinson.

File this one under "WTF," because that's exactly what Sean McKenna of Buxton said a lot when he saw these strange lights appear in the sky.

They look like stars, but stars aren't that bright and don't turn on like someone flipped a switch.

In late November 2016, the Dutch reporting center 'UFO Meldpunt Nederland' received a dozen reports of a triangle UFO. Reports came from southern, eastern, and western parts of the Netherlands.

One report (with attached pictures) posted on November 24th reads:

I was driving on the ring road in Houten, when extremely large lights on a triangle object, which was the size of at least 6 soccer fields, gently flew over. Several people were watching it at the side of the road. It flew very low, made no sound, and seemed to reflect. This was too large to be a human object, I was also doubting whether what I saw was real. Eventually I was able to take pictures at the side of the road, unfortunately from further away. At that time, helicopters were flying in that direction and a jet fighter which were, in comparison to the object, quite small. Another witness wrote that he saw three lights on November 27th while he was driving on the highway A12 heading towards Utrecht. The witness reported he saw three lights of which one was blue, and the other green. He added that the lights formed a triangle and that the object appeared very large.

News outlet Telstar-Online writes that a triangle UFO was seen in Gilze, Aarle-Rixtel, Utrecht, Almelo, and Pijnacker-Nootdorp. While the pictures as well as one video recorded by one of the witnesses may not be hard evidence, it is interesting that these reports came in over the same period, describing similar details. These allegedly seen objects were however not the only phenomenon that raised people's eyebrows.

A "washed up whale," a "sea monster with dreadlocks" and a "beach Christmas tree" are just some of the guesses about a strange seaweed-covered object that washed up on a New Zealand beach. People are scratching their heads to explain what it is.

The large phenomenon was found on Muriwai Beach in Auckland by local resident Melissa Doubleday.

She posted photos of the strange barnacle covered object on the Muriwai & Waimauku Area Community Group Facebook page asking: "Just curious to know if anyone knows what this is??! Washed up on Muriwai Beach."

"I actually thought it was a washed up whale as I approached it, so weird," Doubleday told stuff.co.nz

Ever since the 1950s, the US government's Area 51 - located deep within the remote Nevada desert - has been the subject of intense conspiracy theories.

But now Google Maps has offered a rare glimpse of the mysterious government site - revealing a massive build up of infrastructure at the base over the past 30 years.

Satellite imagery recorded annually since 1984 shows a rapid expansion of buildings and runways at the base.
