A photo taken by a schoolgirl captured an unexplained set of lights in the night sky above the small coastal resort town of Largs Scotland. Fifteen-year-old Rosie Bowman snapped the UFO as it hovered above her home in The Rise, a North Ayershire housing estate, in Largs on the night of September 5, 2020. The image has got the town talking - are UFOs real?

Coastal commotion

Rosie took the photo of the UFO with her phone, after spotting the unusual formation of lights coming from what appears to be a curved, cylinder-shaped craft high above the street. Her mother Grace, who owns Boutique Hair Spa at Largs Pierhead, has shown the photo to customers and says everyone is really fascinated by what it could be. The set of lights could be clearly seen above the housing estate.

Grace told Largs & Millport Weekly News about the UFO photo, "Rosie was quick to take a photo and when you zoom in it does look very strange. We wondered if it could have been some astronomical phenomenon but it does seem odd."

The five "observables"

On a number of occasions, Luis Elizondo has mentioned that the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) identified five "observables" concerning Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP.) These are:

1. Sudden and instantaneous acceleration.
2. Hypersonic velocities without signatures.
3. Low observability.
4. Trans media travel.
5. Positive lift.

In a post dated 11 August 2020, US researcher Danny Silva, spoke about a sixth AATIP "observable," namely, biological effects on humans. I would like to add a seventh "observable, " i.e. the effects that UAP have on our own technology.

It's a story that sounds like it belongs in a This American Life podcast. A young TV producer mysteriously vanishes while filming on the Gold Rush franchise for Discovery in the abandoned mines of Idaho County, ID. Nearly two years later, there remains not a shred of evidence about Terrence Woods' whereabouts. Instead, in his absence, there is a grief-stricken family, a befuddled sheriff, and questions for a prolific UK production company ultimately co-owned by Discovery.

Woods was 27 when he went missing on October 5, 2018. Little has been written about his disappearance other than by local U.S. news outlets, but a social media campaign to unearth more information about the Maryland-born filmmaker has gained traction in recent weeks following the Black Lives Matter movement. Woods' disappearance is being passionately discussed by TV freelancers in closed Facebook groups, while producer Raw TV has come under renewed pressure to provide answers and support for those who knew Woods in their quest for new leads.

Officials from the U.S. Department of Defense confirmed that the Pentagon is forming a special task force that will oversee the investigations on the UFO encounters by military personnel.

The task force, which will be officially unveiled within the next couple of days, will be headed by Deputy Secretary of Defense David Norquist, CNN reported. The task force will mainly focus on the UFO sightings of members of the U.S. military.

Some of the incidents the task force will look into include the UFO sightings by pilots of the U.S. Navy. Videos of the encounters, which were recorded by the military jets' onboard imaging systems, were released to the public in 2017 and 2018 by the aerospace company To The Stars Academy of Arts and Science.

French police are investigating a spate of killings of horses involving mutilation of the animals' bodies.

The latest in Cortambert, a village in the Saone-et-Loire region, occurred overnight on Friday.

The horse's right ear was cut off, one of its eyes was gouged out and its genitals had been cut away. "This is absolutely barbaric," a local official said.

The picture you see above is of Joseph Allen Hynek, American astronomer, professor, and ufologist. Hynek acted as scientific advisor to UFO studies undertaken by the U.S. Air Force under three consecutive projects: Project Sign (1947-1949), Project Grudge (1949-1952), and Project Blue Book (1952-1969). The man standing next to him is Dr. Jacques Vallee, more on him below.

Throughout history, the field of ufology and the examination of the extraterrestrial hypothesis has, without a doubt, been overcome with a plethora of disinformation. Those who have dived into the depths of ufology know this best, as it's well documented that 'outsiders' from intelligence agencies and governments have infiltrated the field for the purposes of deceiving researchers and people who are interested in the topic for one simple reason, to keep them away from the truth. On top of these disinformation campaigns, which still seem to be in operation today, there has long been an "official campaign of ridicule and secrecy" (Roscoe Hillenkoetter, Ex CIA director) associated with the subject. This is why I encourage all those reading who dive into this subject to stick with facts, data, and evidence rather than entertain what seem to be outlandish claims that in no way, at all, can be verified.

I'd like to draw your attention to Dr. Jacques Vallee, who holds a master's degree in astrophysics and a Ph.D. in computer science. The subject of UFOs first attracted his attention as an astronomer in Paris. He subsequently became a close associate of Project Blue Book's J. Allen Hynek and has written several books on the UFO enigma. He is currently a venture capitalist living in San Francisco. Vallée co-developed the first computerized map of Mars for NASA in 1963. He later worked on the network information center for the ARPANET, a precursor to the modern Internet, as a staff engineer of SRI International's Augmentation Research Center under Douglas Engelbart.

He's a researcher that's had a very interesting life, to say the least, with regards to researching the topic of UFOs. He's come into contact with and had meetings with most experts in the field, politicians from around the world, high ranking military personnel and much more. His journey into the subject has led him to investigate an uncountable amount of case reports regarding UFOs and supposed extraterrestrial beings, and he's been a major player with regards to bringing the mainstream scientific community forward to look at the evidence and data that's involved with such a serious subject, that, in his time, was largely ridiculed. He is an important reason why the phenomenon has gained as much credibility as it has today.

Valle is one of many who have written about and documented the startling evidence that well-constructed hoaxes and media manipulations have misled UFO researchers, diverting them from the UFO phenomenon itself, what's really going on.

Two more cattle have been mysteriously killed in rural eastern Oregon. This follows a number of unexplained killings of cattle in the region over the past year.

A black-coated cow was found dead in July outside of Fossil, found sitting with her legs tucked under her body with her head off the ground. Pictures show her eyes bulging out with flies around the body. The cow's tongue and genitals were removed.

"It was a clean cut, so it wasn't wildlife," Wheeler County Sheriff's deputy Jeremiah Holmes said. "There were upwards of 80 cows milling around there ... so signs of tire tracks, boot tracks were pretty much non-existent." Holmes later followed up with the Northwest News Network to say there was no official cause of death determined yet, but a "partial boot print" was found about 100 yards from the cow.

A teenager who went missing for over a week in Washington state was found alive Saturday in the heavily wooded Cascade Mountains, authorities said.

"It's very rare. It is definitely a miracle, and we are so thrilled that she is OK and made it out of there," Sgt. Ryan Abbott told reporters. "There has been so much support, and so much interest and people wanting to help. It's nice to see."

Fuda was last seen on July 24, when she left her home in Maple Vally, Wash., without telling her family where she was going.

Her 2008 Toyota Corolla was found west of Stevens Pass by a state transportation worker.

Detectives said Fuda stopped at a coffee shop before running out of gas. Personal items were found inside the vehicle, but her phone was powered off.

A practising exorcist claims he once witnessed a terrifying case of demonic possession where a woman with a demon inside her threw four men across a room.

Bishop Plato Angelakis, an ordained Orthodox Catholic priest with the Oblates of St Therese in Wisconsin, US, said it was his first-ever exorcism and involved himself and a small group of other priests.

The victim, a 60-year-old woman, was said to have not "eaten or drank anything for a month" and so the priests visited her home to try and rid her of the evil presence.

Talking on The Exorcist TV Show Podcast, Bishop Angelakis explained what he saw.

Authorities are investigating the death and mutilation of yet another cow — this time, on rangeland near Fossil, Ore.

And the culprit may have left a clue: a boot print.

The black Angus cow, a breeding animal worth about $1,000, was found Thursday dead and mutilated — tongue, genitals and reproductive organs cut out. Her carcass was found upright, front legs tucked underneath, a position investigators say they haven't seen before.

The cause of death is unknown, and authorities told the Capital Press the case is ongoing.

"She died in a position she couldn't have gotten into by herself. I don't have any kind of logical explanation for it," said David Hunt, owner of Hunt Ranch and a partner-producer for Painted Hills Natural Beef Inc.
