Vaccination: Do your own research, exercise due diligence and reserve judgment

Spectrum: Autism Research News
© Spectrum: Autism Research News
It seems we are rapidly moving towards compulsory vaccination in the West. This likely move is widely supported and promoted by the mainstream media (MSM) who accuse all those who choose not to vaccinate themselves or their children of being a public health risk.

The bandwagon they have created is overwhelmingly populated by those who have a limited grasp of science. Like me, as lay men and women, they are solely reliant upon what they are told, unless they do their own research.

I'm not a scientist and do not profess to have a full grasp of the scientific evidence surrounding vaccines. However, nor do I simply trust everything I am told by someone else, simply because they try to impress upon me their expert status. Especially when they have a very clear conflict of interest. While I defer to those with knowledge, and hope to learn from them, I maintain the right to do my own research, exercise due diligence and reserve judgment.

Nor am I medically trained. I am not advising anyone not to be vaccinated. I firmly believe that should be a choice for them, based upon their own knowledge and awareness. I do not wish people to be forced to accept an invasive medical procedure against their will.

Epic Fail: The EPA is meant to protect us - the Monsanto trials suggest it isn't doing that

Three public trials involving Monsanto have raised troubling questions about lax oversight of all pesticides by the Environmental Protection Agency

Ever since Monsanto introduced its line of Roundup weedkillers to the world in 1974, the products have been touted by the company and regulators as extremely safe. The EPA reiterated that stance last week.

But the emergence of long-held corporate secrets in three public trials has revealed a covert campaign to cover-up the pesticide's risks and raised troubling questions about lax oversight of all pesticides by the Environmental Protection Agency and other regulatory agencies that are supposed to be protecting public health.

Toddler fed a vegan diet was so malnourished she had no teeth; parents face prison

hospital crib

A baby girl fed a vegan diet by her parents in Australia was so malnourished by the time she was 19 months old she didn't have any teeth and looked like she was just three months old, a Sydney court has heard.

The toddler's parents - who can't be named for legal reasons - have pleaded guilty to failing to provide for her causing danger of serious injury.

Court documents reveal she was fed oats, potatoes, rice, tofu, bread, peanut butter and rice milk. A mouthful of fruit or two sultanas were her snacks.

The eastern suburbs couple, who hadn't vaccinated the toddler, faced a sentence hearing at Downing Centre District Court on Thursday.

Comment: Vegan diets are lacking in vitamin B12, fat soluble vitamins and essential fatty acids. Luckily the baby didn't die.

The evisceration of Dr. Andrew Wakefield: Vicious attacks against doctor who dared question the safety of vaccines

Dr Andrew Wakefield
We are told that to question vaccines makes you a baby killer. Quite often this baseless alarmism pumped out by the MSM is littered with disinformation. For example in the recent Mirror article published by the anonymous FleetStreetFox (Susie Boniface) she, or her editors, provided us with this distressing image.
baby with measles
The article calls for any who refuse to vaccinate their child to be imprisoned for 'child abuse' and decries 'the spread of anti-vax propaganda.' Which is ironic because the headline image, chosen to drive this critical message into your consciousness, is pure propaganda of the very silliest and sickest kind.

If you question which way the photo-shopping went consider if it is likely a medical professional would handle an infectious baby without gloves.

Appendix removal correlated with higher risk of Parkinson's

appendix attack

The true purpose of the seemingly inert human appendix continues to elude modern medicine, but a new study suggests that those who have the organ removed due to appendicitis are at three times greater risk of developing Parkinson's disease.

Appendicitis is defined as inflammation or rupturing of the appendix, a small organ located at the base of the large intestine. Each year around 300,000 Americans have their appendix removed, usually for this reason.

Meanwhile, Parkinson's disease, a debilitating neurological condition originating in the mid-brain, strikes some 200,000 per year in the US, including high-profile patients such as Michael J Fox, who has campaigned for a cure for with the Michael J Fox Foundation since the year 2000. Notable Parkinson's sufferer Robin Williams took his life in 2014, leaving many to speculate whether he sought to avoid a life with the devastating disease.

Dr. Helen Caldicott: Fukushima is an ongoing global 'radiological catastrophe'

Fukushima
The eight year anniversary of the triple meltdowns at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear facility passed mostly without comment in mainstream media circles. In spite of ongoing radiological contamination that will continue to spread and threaten human health for lifetimes to come, other stories dominate the international news cycle. The climate change conundrum, serious though it may be, seemingly crowds out all other clear and present environmental hazards.

As part of efforts to normalize this historic event and cover it up in its magnitude, the Japanese government has invested considerable financial, public relations and other resources into what they are billing the 'Recovery Olympics' set to take place in a year's time in Tokyo.

But Helen Caldicott warns that the dangers associated with Fukushima have not gone away and remain a cause for concern.

Earlier this year, a Senate hearing was held during which Sen. Blumenthal asked industry reps some interesting questions.

Have they tested 5G for safety themselves? No.

Are they aware of any independent studies showing the safety of 5G? No.

Does the FCC have any studies showing 5G is safe? No.

Viruses genetically engineered to kill bacteria rescue girl with antibiotic-resistant infection

Isabelle Carnell
Isabelle Carnell (second from right) with her doctor, Helen Spencer (left); phage researcher Graham Hatfull (second from left); and her mother (right).
One week after Helen Spencer's 15-year-old cystic fibrosis patient had a double lung transplant in September 2017, the incision wound turned bright red. For half her life, Isabelle Carnell had been battling a drug-resistant infection of Mycobacterium abscessus, and now it was rapidly spreading, erupting in weeping sores and swollen nodules across her frail body. "My heart sinks when I see that a [lung transplant] patient has got a wound infection, because I know what the trajectory is going to be," says Spencer, Isabelle's respiratory pediatrician at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. "It's a torturous course that has ended in death for all those children."

With the standard treatments failing, Isabelle's mother asked Spencer about alternatives-adding that she had read something about using viruses to kill bacteria. Spencer decided to take a gamble on what seemed like a far-fetched idea: phages, viruses that can destroy bacteria and have a long-if checkered-history as medical treatments. She collaborated with leading phage researchers, who concocted a cocktail of the first genetically engineered phages ever used as a treatment-and the first directed at a Mycobacterium, a genus that includes tuberculosis (TB). After 6 months of the tailor-made phage infusions, Isabelle's wounds healed and her condition improved with no serious side effects, the authors report today in Nature Medicine.

San Francisco city attorney subpoenas anti-vax doctor Kenneth Stoller's records

Ramping up the pressure in a statewide battle over medical exemptions for student vaccinations, San Francisco City Attorney's Office has issued a subpoena to Dr. Kenneth Stoller, a vocal opponent of mandatory vaccines. The city is requesting medical and billing records related to every medical exemption he's written since 2016.

The unusual move comes as tensions rise over vaccination requirements during the worst measles outbreak in the United States in nearly two decades.

In 2015, California passed Senate Bill 277, which outlawed so-called personal belief exemptions for student vaccination requirements. Any licensed physician is still allowed to write exemptions for legitimate medical concerns.

Such medical exemptions have increased significantly since SB 277. State Sen. Richard Pan, D-Sacramento, who wrote the 2015 law, and public health experts believe some doctors are selling exemptions, whether kids need them or not.

Comment: Evidence clearly supports that vaccines have not been proven safe or effective. Kudos to Dr. Stoller for protecting the health of people in his community.

High levels of sunscreen ingredients end up in the bloodstream: study

The active ingredients of commonly-used sunscreens end up in the bloodstream at much higher levels than current U.S. guidelines from health regulators and warrant further safety studies, according to a small study conducted by U.S. Food and Drug Administration researchers and published on Monday.

The over-the-counter products originally marketed to prevent sunburn with little regulation are widely used to block radiation from the sun that can cause skin cancer, the most common malignancy in the United States.

The study of 23 volunteers tested four sunscreens, including sprays, lotion and cream, applied to 75 percent of the body four times a day over four days, with blood tests to determine the maximum levels of certain chemicals absorbed into the bloodstream conducted over seven days.

Comment: Always with the concern for 'confused consumers'. As if reading a study that says too much of a harmful chemical in your sunscreen is being absorbed into your body when you apply is somehow confusing. This stuff is toxic and you shouldn't be putting it on your skin. Find alternatives without the toxic crap or mitigate your sun exposure. There's nothing confusing about this.
