There are no safe vaccines. There never was and never will be with the current misrepresented data and unproven assumptions that have spanned over a century in the making. The fact is, every single vaccine is now being exposed for the lack of demonstrated evidence to actually prevent a single case of disease over a placebo. Think it's an exaggeration? Think again.

The reality of two centuries of mortality graphs, and disease declines and vaccine effectiveness vs. dangers is always in stark contradiction to the claims of government health officials. People are now listening more than ever and the message is spreading like wild fire. The evidence being highlighted is that the historical significance and effectiveness of vaccines is nothing more than repeated myths absent of any real-life data.

The questionable contributions of vaccines and other medical measures were highlighted with incredible accuracy in 1977 by John and Sonja McKinlay who brilliantly detailed how medical care is generally unrelated to improvements in the health of populations. "History is replete with examples of how, understandably enough, self-interested individuals and groups denounced popular customs and beliefs which appeared to threaten their own domains of practice, thereby rendering from heresies (for example physicians' denunciation of midwives as witches, during the Middle Ages)," they wrote.

Not much has changed. The pro-vaccine camps have been dismissing the anti-vaccine community for quite some time (even their own peers who are physicians) as they have resorted to some very nasty measures to ensure that people do not discover the truth about vaccines. Mysterious deaths: 'Brain-eating amoeba'

The very idea of an organism that eats away at the brain to cause death is a horrifying one. The notion seems to belong to horror films with a scientific twist. But we have learned recently that a 'brain-eating amoeba', or Naegleria fowleri, if we go by its medical name, appears to be on the loose in Karachi, with the latest two victims, a three-year-old and a nine-month-old infant dying at private hospitals in the city. Details of the latest deaths, which bring the toll to 10 in the city, have been reported by the Dengue Surveillance Cell.

Dr Shakeel Mullick, who heads the cell, has asked private hospitals to report Naegleria deaths. The fear right now is that they may not all be doing so, which means that we cannot be sure that each death has been reported. The amoeba seems to cause mild symptoms including fever, stomach pain and vomiting. This may be one reason why people may be staying away from hospitals as these symptoms do not seem too worrisome in the initial phases.

The presence of the sickness was first reported by the Disease Early Warning System of the World Health Organisation, with health authorities now stating that they are planning an awareness campaign to alert the public. The problem seems to be that so much about the sickness is still a mystery. An early hypothesis by doctors that swimming in unhygienic water may be the source of the organism entering the body has been defeated by the fact that only one of the victims swam. So far, experts appear to have little idea about how to prevent the disease.

Gambia says cures more HIV patients with herbs

Gambian President Yahya Jammeh said that dozens of HIV/AIDS patients in the tiny West African state have been cured using his secret concoction of boiled herbs.

Jammeh first announced he had found a natural remedy to cure AIDS in 2007, stirring anger among Western medical experts who claimed he was giving false hope to the sick.

"Who am I to expect that everybody would praise me," Jammeh said in a state television broadcast on Sunday evening, announcing that 68 patients had been cured and discharged from a treatment center.

"Just as the Prophet Mohammed prevailed and established Islam (...)I also prevailed to cure HIV/AIDS to the point that 68 are being discharged today," he said.

The World Health Organisation and the United Nations have said Jammeh's HIV/AIDS treatment is alarming mainly because patients are required to cease their anti-retroviral drugs making them more prone to infection.

UK teen loses stomach on birthday after drinking liquid nitrogen-containing cocktail

Doctors in the UK had to remove a teenager's stomach after she drank a cocktail containing liquid nitrogen, according to media reports.

The girl, Gaby Scanlon was celebrating her 18th birthday at a bar called Oscar's in Lancaster when she developed severe stomach pain after drinking a cocktail. The bar, Oscar's, issued a statement saying that it was "tremendously concerned' for the teenager and that its 'wishes go to her and her family", the Telegraph reported.

The police said that the girl was stable and the bar has stopped selling the drink after the incident.

"The premises involved have fully cooperated with all agencies and have suspended drinks involving liquid nitrogen. The investigation is still in its early stages and we are still interviewing witnesses to establish the full facts," a police spokesman said, the Daily Mail reported.

Use of liquid nitrogen was popularized by Chef Heston Blumenthal. Now, many bars use liquid nitrogen to chill glasses. However, liquid nitrogen should never be ingested as it can cause severe cold burns that can destroy tissues.

"This poor girl is the victim of an irresponsible alcohol industry that's now competing on gimmicks," said Doctor John Ashton, director of public health for Cumbria. "Alcohol itself is a very dangerous thing if improperly handled and liquid nitrogen is a toxic chemical. It destroys human tissue," the BBC has reported.

The truth really is much stranger than fiction, especially when it comes to the open and admitted future plans of major biotechnology companies. One such case involves a biotech company known as ProdiGene, the officials from which actually faced jail time back in 2002 for contaminating the traditional food supply with 'biopharmaceutical' crops that were growing pharmaceuticals and vaccine components associated with AIDS, diabetes, and diarrhea.

Contaminating 500,000 bushels of soy with their biopharmaceutical corn that contained pharmaceutical and vaccine components associated with deadly diseases, the company was slapped with a minor $500,000 fine by the USDA (the same government organization that gives Monsanto's crops special speed approval and ignores the company's blatant disregard for its regulations). As it turns out, the pharmaceutical crops were actually mixed in with traditional crops and unknowing farmers had already been planted for human consumption. The USDA claims, however, that the crops were confiscated.

After receiving the fine and some press coverage on the subject, ProdiGene decided not to apologize but to expand their mission. The company, in combination with estimates by Dow AgroSciences, stated that they sought to reach $200 billion in biopharmaceutical crops within 10 years (as of 2004). Furthermore, they estimated that 10% of the corn in the United States will be biopharmaceutical in nature.

In other words, it could contain hidden nano-scale vaccinations, antibiotics, anti-depressants, or any form of pharmaceutical drug. One California based company has even created a spermicidal corn to be used as a mass contraceptive. In an AlterNet piece covering the issue entitled 'Spermicidal Breakfast Cereal', author Carmelo Ruiz-Marrero asks:
What would happen if contraceptive corn or antibiotic wheat accidentally made it to the supermarket? Nobody knows, but that isn't stopping agribusiness from pursuing these crops.

Patients starve and die of thirst on hospital wards

Forty-three hospital patients starved to death last year and 111 died of thirst while being treated on wards, new figures disclose today.

The death toll was disclosed by the Government amid mounting concern over the dignity of patients on NHS wards.

They will also fuel concerns about care homes, as it was disclosed that eight people starved to death and 21 people died of thirst while in care.

Last night there were warnings that they must prompt action by the NHS and care home regulators to prevent further deaths among patients.

Is new Middle Eastern SARS virus an Arab-specific biological weapon?

The World Health Organization (WHO) released an alert to doctors concerning a new SARS virus that appears to be race-specific - attacking individuals of Arab descent.

One man from Saudi Arabia diagnosed with pneumonia and acute renal failure that died in July and another from Qatar has had their DNA sequenced. It was discovered that the virus that killed both men were the same. However, to distract the public, Gregory Hartl, WHO spokesperson is claiming that the two men contracted the new SARS from animals. There is no proof that the new SARS is contagious or spread from human-to-human.

John Watson, professor of respiratory diseases at the Health Protection Agency states that no healthcare workers exposed to the new SARS have come down with the disease. According to a HPA statement: "Preliminary inquiries have revealed no evidence of illness in contacts of these two cases, including health-care workers. Based on what we know about other coronaviruses, many of these contacts will already have passed the period when they could have caught the virus from the infected person."

Hartl admits: "This is not SARS, it is a new virus and very distinct from SARS. There are still a lot of unanswered questions, so we cannot predict what might happen."

Comment: It is too early to tell if this is a biological weapon or even a race-specific virus. It is even harder to tell its origin. While it is entirely possible it is an ethnic-specific weapon, there are other alternatives, such as a cosmic origin. See:

When you purchase shampoo or cosmetics and it has a sticker on it that claims it is "natural", what's your impression? You think the ingredients are all-natural, right? Naturally, you are not alone.

However, the agency who is in charge of certifying personal care items as "natural" seems to think GMO ingredients fit under this umbrella. No matter what product it is, 100% natural does NOT also mean GMO-free.

The Question of 100% Natural

The Natural Products Association (NPA) claims its role in regards to personal care items is to help consumers choose those products that contain only safe and natural ingredients. They say their job is "to protect and equip consumers to maximize their well being." As a result, they developed a set of guidelines and a certification process for personal care creators. The "essence" of their labeling process is that the product must contain only 100% natural ingredients, be safe and free of ingredients with any suspected human health risk, be free from animal testing, and be packaged in environmentally friendly materials.

But not only do they ignore the negative effects of GMOs, they do not even mention genetically modified ingredients on their "positive list" of ingredients. They act as if they don't exist. In other words - they allow GMO ingredients to receive the "natural" certification.

Hospital employees' jobs in jeopardy if they don't get flu shot

Hospital employees across Colorado are being threatened with their jobs if they don't get the flu shot by the end of the year.

This requirement is being implemented now even though the State of Colorado only requires more than half of all employees to receive the vaccination. The mandate for all employees doesn't take effect for several years.

These health care workers feel they are being given a choice: get a flu shot or lose your job.

"I don't want to get the flu shot and to me it seems I'm getting forced to put a virus into my body that I object to," said one hospital employee who didn't want to be identified.

7 dead as meningitis outbreak grows

The death toll from an outbreak of meningitis linked to contaminated steroid injections has risen to seven, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Saturday.

The total number of cases has also grown to 64 people in nine states, the CDC said. That is 17 more cases and two more states than the day before.

Patients contracted the deadly meningitis after being injected in their spine with a preservative-free steroid called methylprednisolone acetate that was contaminated by a fungus. The steroid is used to treat pain and inflammation.

Health officials say around 75 medical facilities in 23 states received the contaminated products, which were manufactured by New England Compounding Center in Framingham, Massachusetts.

NECC voluntarily recalled three lots of the injectible steroid last week. As a precaution, the Food and Drug Administration is asking doctors, clinics, and consumers to stop using any products made by NECC.
