DARPA working on COVID vaccine - Implantable microchip to detect virus

The Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is working on a COVID vaccine that will work on all variants and has developed an implantable microchip that it says will continuously monitor the human body for signs of the virus.

Retired Colonel Matt Hepburn, an army infectious disease physician heading up DARPA's response to the pandemic, appeared on 60 Minutes to demonstrate the technology.

Holding up a vial of green tissue-like gel, which contains the chip, Hepburn proclaimed "You put it underneath your skin and what that tells you is that there are chemical reactions going on inside the body, and that signal means you are going to have symptoms tomorrow."

"It's like a 'check engine' light," Hepburn added, noting that those with the chip "would get the signal, then self-administer a blood draw and test themselves on site."

"We can have that information in three to five minutes," Hepburn continued, adding "As you truncate that time, as you diagnose and treat, what you do is you stop the infection in its tracks."

European regulators are watching J&J's vaccine for unusual blood clots.
The European Medicines Agency is investigating reports of clots in people who received J&J's vaccine. The shot has not yet been given out in Europe.

European regulators are investigating whether Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine caused unusual blood clotting after four cases were reported in vaccine recipients, including one fatality.

The European Medicines Agency's Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee disclosed Friday that they are reviewing the vaccine after three people who received J&J's vaccine in the US and another who was involved in a clinical trial developed blood clots. It's currently not clear if the vaccine caused these clots.

Comment: It's interesting that any bad press coming out about the Covid vaccines is focusing specifically on the non-mRNA varieties. We know there are potentially problems with the Pfizer vaccine given what is happening in Israel, but this not receiving much press. It seems clear the PTB would like steer as many people as possible into getting the mRNA variety by publicizing the adverse reactions in the non-mRNA vaccines (keeping in mind there are undoubtedly adverse reactions in all vaccines), making them appear less safe. Wonder why?

The same appears to be happening to the AstraZeneca vaccine, also not an mRNA vaccine. From RT:
Five cases of a very rare blood disorder in people who have received the Covid-19 vaccine developed by AstraZeneca are being reviewed by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the EU's drug regulator has said.

The cases of "capillary leak syndrome," which can cause leakage of fluid from blood vessels, tissue swelling and a drop in blood pressure, were reported from across the European Economic Area, the EMA said on Friday.

The regulator said it is "not yet clear" if there is a causal association between AstraZeneca's Vaxzevria jab and the condition, which can cause organ failure if it is not treated.

The EMA said the five cases, all reported in the European Economic Area, warrant further investigation and potentially an update to the vaccine's product information, if deemed necessary by its Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC).

The reports of capillary leak syndrome are the latest blow for AstraZeneca's vaccine after the EMA said this week that "unusual blood clots with low blood platelets" should be listed as very rare side effects of the jab.

Lancet: COVID-19 infection and subsequent mental health and neurological conditions revealed in largest study to date

One in three COVID-19 survivors received a neurological or psychiatric diagnosis within six months of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, an observational study of more than 230,000 patient health records published in The Lancet Psychiatry journal estimates. The study looked at 14 neurological and mental health disorders.

Professor Paul Harrison, lead author of the study, from the University of Oxford, UK, said: "These are real-world data from a large number of patients. They confirm the high rates of psychiatric diagnoses after COVID-19, and show that serious disorders affecting the nervous system (such as stroke and dementia) occur too. While the latter are much rarer, they are significant, especially in those who had severe COVID-19."

I have had more vaccines in my life than most people and come from a place of significant personal and professional experience in relation to this pandemic, having managed a service during the first 2 waves and all the contingencies that go with that.

Nevertheless, what I am currently struggling with is the failure to report the reality of the morbidity caused by our current vaccination program within the health service and staff population. The levels of sickness after vaccination is unprecedented and staff are getting very sick and some with neurological symptoms which is having a huge impact on the health service function. Even the young and healthy are off for days, some for weeks, and some requiring medical treatment. Whole teams are being taken out as they went to get vaccinated together.

Mandatory vaccination in this instance is stupid, unethical and irresponsible when it comes to protecting our staff and public health. We are in the voluntary phase of vaccination, and encouraging staff to take an unlicensed product that is impacting on their immediate health, and I have direct experience of staff contracting Covid AFTER vaccination and probably transmitting it. In fact, it is clearly stated that these vaccine products do not offer immunity or stop transmission. In which case why are we doing it? There is no longitudinal safety data (a couple of months of trial data at best) available and these products are only under emergency licensing. What is to say that there are no longitudinal adverse effects that we may face that may put the entire health sector at risk?

Comment: If someone makes you 'take the shot', they're liable for criminal damages.

A senior official at Europe's medicines regulator has said there is a clear "association" between AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccine and very rare blood clots in the brain, though the direct cause of the clots is still unknown.

The European Medical Agency (EMA) said in a statement after the comments by Marco Cavaleri, chair of its vaccine evaluation team, that it was still conducting a review of the vaccine and expected to announce its findings on Wednesday or Thursday.

An AstraZeneca spokesman declined to comment on Cavaleri's remarks, which he made in an interview with Italian newspaper Il Messagero that was published on Tuesday.

"In my opinion, we can now say it, it is clear that there is an association (of the brain blood clots) with the vaccine. However, we still do not know what causes this reaction," Cavaleri said, without giving evidence to support his comments.

30 million toxic masks distributed to schools and daycares in Quebec

One model of mask distributed to Quebec schools and daycares may be dangerous for the lungs as they could contain a potentially toxic material, according to a directive sent out by the provincial government on Friday.

Radio-Canada has obtained documents showing Health Canada warned of the potential for "early pulmonary toxicity" from the SNN200642 masks which are made in China and sold and distributed by Métallifer, a Quebec-based manufacturer.

"If you have this type of mask in stock, we ask that you stop distributing them and keep them in a safe place now," the provincial government says in the directive that was sent by three ministries: education, families and higher education.

Daniel, who emigrated from the U.S. to Israel 25 years ago, is a health adviser, activist and information officer for a new political human rights party called Rappeh.
