Japanese over 65 have done their best to reduce Japan's 612-million-dose stockpile of mRNA jabs, with 3rd, 4th, and 5th jab rates of 91%, 82.5%, and 56%, respectively. But unfortunately, Japan has started 2023 by reporting its highest ever daily Covid death tolls. During the booster era starting in early 2022, each wave has been noticeably higher than the last.
"I believe we should stop trying to prevent all symptomatic infections in healthy, young people by boosting them with vaccines containing mRNA from strains that might disappear a few months later," he writes.Dr. Offit, who is Professor of Vaccinology and Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania, goes through in detail the process that led to bivalent vaccines being recommended in the U.S. for everyone over five years of age with no relevant data from humans. He is clearly very unhappy about it.

A research project underway at Iowa State University titled NOVEL MRNA VACCINE TECHNOLOGY FOR PREVENTION OF BOVINE RESPIRATORY SYNCYTIAL VIRUS is developing mRNA vaxxes for domesticated cows:
Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a significant viral pathogens [sic] of young cows that is a key component of the respiratory disease complex and often leads to secondary bacterial pneumonia... we will test a novel mRNA vaccine system we have developed that substantially lowers the price point for production animals and may lead to more thermal stable transcripts compatible with vaccinating on the farm... Our overall goal is to test a novel mRNA system for inducing immunological protection from bovine RSV infection. In Australia, the vax-happy government has 'fast-tracked' mRNA vaccine development for cattle in partnership with a U.S. biotech firm:
Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole said today marks an important milestone towards securing the vaccine technology that will protect Australia's $28.7 billion livestock industry.
There follows a public statement by a group of five senior Swedish doctors who, in collaboration with Dr. Johan Eddebo, a researcher in digitalisation and human rights, are raising the alert about the Covid vaccines, which they describe as "obviously dangerous". They say there should be an "immediate halt" to the mass vaccination pending "thorough investigations" of the true incidence and severity of adverse effects. The true character and scope of the harm caused by the unprecedented mass vaccinations for COVID-19 is just now beginning to become clear. Leading scientific journals have finally begun publishing data corroborating what the underground research community has observed over the last two years, especially in relation to complex problems of immune suppression.
Truly concerning numbers pertaining to both births and mortality are also emerging.
At this moment in time, a new, allegedly super-infectious Omicron variant is all over the headlines. A sub-variant of XXB, this strain is said to possess immune escape capabilities of precisely the type that some independent researchers predicted would follow on the heels of the mass vaccinations' narrow antigenic fixation.
The Times reports 1,000 excess deaths each week as the NHS buckles, with 656,735 U.K. deaths in the last year. Using the pre-Covid five-year average, it notes, "50,000 more people died last year than normal".
The BBC reported that 9% more people died in 2022 than in 2019. Within hours of the reports of the deaths, they concluded the "data indicates pandemic effects on health and NHS pressures are among the leading explanations". No need then for painstaking epidemiology, assessment of confounders and determination of causation as opposed to an association. The BBC has the answer. But does it?
One of its explanations is the "lasting effect of pandemic". Pointing to a "number of studies that found people are more likely to have heart problems and strokes".
All three studies cited are retrospective. The first is a review of those admitted to the hospital in 2020 (mean follow-up 140 days). The second is a review from 2020, comparing U.S. individuals in the Veteran Affairs program who were predominately white males with a positive Covid test with matched controls from 2017. The third was much the same, reporting excess risk in the four months after a positive test.

Researchers in Taiwan have added to the increasingly negative picture of the impact the mRNA Covid vaccines have on the hearts of young men.
The researchers conducted electrocardiograms (ECGs), which measure the heart rhythm, on 4,928 high schoolers in Taipei City, the capital of Taiwan, before and after their second Pfizer shot. Over 90 percent of the students were male.
They found 51 students had significant changes in their ECGs after the second Pfizer jab. One of those was diagnosed with myocarditis, and four more had "significant" heart rhythm disturbances. Those included a student with premature ventricular contractions, which can raise the risk of sudden cardiac death.

Men are more likely than women to develop conditions associated with obesity such as cardiovascular disease, insulin resistance and diabetes, says York Professor Tara Haas with the Faculty of Health's School of Kinesiology and Health Science.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) on Monday issued new clinical guidelines for treating childhood obesity, recommending physicians offer weight-loss drugs and surgery to obese children.
The guidelines, amended for the first time in 15 years, highlight the "complex genetic, physiologic, socioeconomic, and environmental contributors" to obesity — but the recommendations focus on treatment rather than prevention and don't address potential adverse effects of medications and surgeries.
I argued, therefore, that focussed protection culminating in voluntary vaccination of high-risk groups was the right strategy all along - which is what the Great Barrington Declaration called for.
One objection to my aggregate-level analysis is that the relationships between excess mortality and elderly vaccination could be confounded by other variables. In fact, the relationship in the European sample was much weaker when controlling for healthcare spending - which is evidence of confounding.
On the other hand, with a sample size of only 30 countries, it is not always possible to disentangle the effects of correlated predictors. And in the larger American sample, the relationship remained strong when controlling for healthcare spending.
