The strategy necessitated maintaining the claim — against all real-world evidence — that the unprecedented restrictions on our daily lives have had a significant effect on viral spread and infection rates. A claim that does not stand up when scrutinised against real- world case rates falling since legal restrictions were removed on 19 July, as discussed here.
The other key plank of this narrative is the safety and effectiveness of vaccination. While safety concerns have been mounting for some time and are now reaching the mainstream, attention is turning towards effectiveness, particularly following disturbing news from Israel, where even previously prominent cheerleaders for vaccines, and health providers, are acknowledging that efficacy is declining substantially, with less protection being afforded by a vaccination given in January compared to in April / May. The Prime Minister meanwhile, stated that protection against the Delta variant is less than had been hoped.
The study in question from researchers in India analyzed vaccine breakthrough in over 100 healthcare workers and claims to show that a COVID-19 Delta variant infection generates a higher viral load in comparison to other variants.
Despite no mention in the study of viral loads from the variant against unvaccinated individuals, the CDC cited it in yesterday's updated brief as evidence that the Delta variant is transmissible from a vaccinated individual with a breakthrough infection.
Comment: From day one it has never been about The Science™. The Science™ is cherry-picked to allow the elites to impose whatever mandate they want to impose, so a pulled study, or an irrelevant one, serves as good as anything else to justify their dictates. For this reason, this exposure will likely change nothing.

Medical workers move a patient between ambulances outside of the Royal London Hospital in London, Britain, January 27, 2021.
The previously hidden figures, covering all NHS trusts in England, showed that as of last week, only 44% of those classified as Covid patients had tested positive for the virus by the time they were admitted to hospital. Despite broad public testing for the disease, an incredible 56% of Covid hospitalisations involve already-admitted patients who were administered routine Covid tests, the Telegraph reported. Forty-three percent of Covid-positive patients were identified within two days of admission, while 13% were flagged in the following days and weeks.
According to the outlet, health officials were instructed last month to begin placing Covid patients into two categories: those who were in hospital primarily because of the virus, and those who were admitted for other reasons. However, the NHS has so far withheld this data from the public.
Comment: Since the beginning of the pandemic there's been controversy around how Covid deaths have been recorded (the lack of distinction between dying of Covid versus dying with Covid), so it's rather unsurprising that the hospitalization figures are being fudged in a similar way. If 56% of "hospitalized Covid patients" were admitted for different reasons, imagine how much the Covid hospitalization numbers would tank if they were honest about them.

General view shows the laboratories of BioNTech at their COVID-19 vaccine production facility as the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continues, in Marburg, Germany, March 27, 2021.
The Mainz, Germany-based company, which developed a COVID-19 vaccine with its partner Pfizer (PFE.N) in ten months, said on Monday it is also exploring vaccine production in Africa as part of efforts to build up manufacturing capacity on the continent.
"The response to the pandemic has shown that science and innovation can transform people's lives when all key stakeholders work together towards a common goal," said BioNTech Chief Executive and co-founder Ugur Sahin.
Comment: The long term data isn't even in yet and they're already looking to branch out to spread their experimental genetic injections more thoroughly across the planet. How much hijacking of the genetic machinery can one person take?

For critics of the lockdown policy like me, this is beginning to look like vindication. We have long argued that the ebb and flow of the virus isn't affected by state interventions, pointing out that cases seem to rise and fall in the same wave-like patterns across similar regions, irrespective of the action taken by different leaders.
For instance, the states of California and Florida share a number of characteristics, but their governors have taken very different approaches to managing the virus. Gavin Newsom, the democratic governor of California, has imposed some of the most severe restrictions in the United States, while Ron DeSantis, the republican governor of Florida, has imposed some of the lightest. Yet the number of Covid deaths in each state are almost identical - 163 per 100,000 in California and 179 per 100,000 in Florida.

Richard Horton (pictured), is editor-in-chief of the Lancet, which said in a statement that 'all papers of major public health importance were shared as soon as possible while ensuring rigorous peer-review'
Its editors also failed to share critical evidence - given to them by brave Chinese scientists trying to alert the world to the danger of the new disease - that showed the new coronavirus could be spread by people who were not displaying symptoms.
The revelation has emerged in a new book by Sir Jeremy Farrar, director of the Wellcome Trust.
With the Covid Delta variant spreading across the globe, the concept of 'pandemic fatigue' is back in the headlines. One by one, countries are bringing back restrictions that everybody hoped were lifted forever. According to the World Health Organization, pandemic fatigue is "an expected and natural response to a prolonged public health crisis" not just related to the virus itself, but to the "invasive measures with unprecedented impacts on the daily lives of everyone." In this context, reimposed restrictive measures would not be "unprecedented," but would this make them less harmful? Only if we draw conclusions from our recent experience, psychologists suggest, and prepare ourselves and our loved ones for the difficulties to come.

Data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) included a total of almost 500,000 reports of injuries and deaths, across all age groups, following COVID vaccines — an increase of 27,761 compared with the previous week.
Comment: Not only does the "vaccine" NOT protect against catching COVID-19 (and ironically appears to increase risk of developing infection), it has conclusively been shown to produce serious adverse effects in vast numbers of people.

[April 28, 2020], President Biden was widely praised in mainstream and health-care-focused media for his call to create a "new biomedical research agency" modeled after the U.S. military's "high-risk, high-reward" Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA. As touted by the president, the agency would seek to develop "innovative" and "breakthrough" treatments for cancer, Alzheimer's disease and diabetes, with a call to "end cancer as we know it."
