5G danger: Hundreds of respected scientists sound alarm about health effects of 5G networks going up nationwide

5g dangers
Even though many in the scientific community are loudly warning about the potential health effects that 5G technology could have on the general population, Verizon and AT&T are starting to put up their 5G networks in major cities all across the nation. Today, the total number of cell phones exceeds the entire population of the world, and the big cell phone companies are making a crazy amount of money providing service to all of those phones. And now that the next generation of cell phone technology has arrived, millions of cell phone users are looking forward to better connections and faster speeds than ever before. In fact, President Trump says that 5G networks will be up to 100 times faster than the current 4G networks that we are using right now...
5G will be as much as 100 times faster than the current 4G cellular networks. It will transform the way our citizens work, learn, communicate, and travel. It will make American farms more productive, American manufacturing more competitive, and American healthcare better and more accessible. Basically, it covers almost everything, when you get right down to it. Pretty amazing.

And just as 4G networks paved the way for smartphones and all of the exciting breakthroughs - they made possible so many things - this will be more secure and resilient. 5G networks will also create astonishing and really thrilling new opportunities for our people - opportunities that we've never even thought we had a possibility of looking at.
Sounds great, right?

But in order to achieve such vastly superior performance, 5G networks will use technology that is completely different from 4G networks.

Study shows CBD reduces cravings and anxiety in recovering heroin abusers

opiod addiction CBD oil
A small study has offered new data on how cannabis-derived cannabidiol (CBD) could help to curb the international opioid crisis.

Results of a study published this week in the American Journal of Psychiatry suggest that CBD could help to reduce the anxiety and cravings experienced by patients recovering from heroin addiction. Researchers reported that CBD may help to dampen signals in the body that trigger cravings and anxiety in former opioid abusers, in addition to lowering patients' heart rates and levels of stress hormones.

Conducted at Mount Sinai hospital in New York, the double-blind, randomized, controlled study looked at 42 people with a heroin-use disorder who were abstaining from the drug at the time. Participants took either a placebo, a 400 milligram dose of CBD, or an 800 milligram dose at different intervals, allowing researchers to examine the short- and long-term effects of administered CBD. During the study sessions, researchers alternately monitored participants' vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.

Researchers found that patients who were given CBD exhibited lowered feelings of anxiety or craving when exposed to certain psychological cues, such as videos of drug paraphernalia. Tests of such participants' saliva also showed lowered levels of stress hormones, and participants' heart rates were found to be lower than those in the placebo group. Some of these effects were evident in patients up to a week after their final dose of CBD.

Child endangerment: Belgian legal opinion declares imposition of vegan diets on children is unethical; may lead to changes in law

vegan diets children

Plant-based food lacks proteins and vital amino acids and therefore can stunt growth and cause health problems for children, doctors said in a bombshell legal opinion published last week.
A fresh report by the Belgian Royal Academy of Medicine has sparked a debate for claiming bringing kids up vegan is 'unethical.' RT heard different views on the potentially dangerous parents' choice.

Plant-based food lacks proteins and vital amino acids and therefore can stunt growth and cause health problems for children, doctors said in a bombshell legal opinion published last week. Kids raised vegan need to be constantly monitored and require additional dietary intake to avoid deficiencies. Such a "destabilizing diet" is therefore "not ethical to impose on children," the report argued.

The opinion was issued at the request of a government official after a number of cases where children faced complications, including critical medical conditions, after switching to a vegan diet, according to the Le Soir daily. The report could lead to changes in the law. Forcing kids to abandon animal proteins could be legally qualified as "non-assistance to a person in danger," a crime which entails a prison sentence of up to two years in Belgium, professor Georges Casimir, one of the authors of the report told the paper.

Comment: While forcing children to adhere to vegan diets does pose serious risks to their health, giving any government the power to decide how parents should raise their children is a slippery slope. Where does the decision making begin ...or end? Such laws potentially give the state free rein to remove any and all parental controls. If governments made a concerted effort to publicize the health risks of veganism and engaged the help of mainstream media, parents might take the initiative themselves - no coercion needed.

Objective:Health #15 - The Dangers of 5G & WiFi - With Scott Ogrin of Scottie's Tech.Info

O:H header
On this episode of Objective: Health, Elliot Overton and Doug DiPasquale are joined by Scott Ogrin of Scottie's Tech.Info for a discussion of the health implications of 5G wireless technology.

While wireless technology is progressing at a break-neck pace, with newer, better, faster innovations seemingly appearing every year, little attention is paid in the mainstream as to the possible negative repercussions.

It seems that technological progress is treated as of ultimate importance, with almost no attention paid to the health consequences. While many scientists (backed up by over 28,000 scientific studies) are sounding the alarm on the negative health effects of wireless communication, its infrastructure and devices; they are ignored by the regulatory bodies, industry and governments who continue to push things forward - beholden to the almighty dollar.

With promises of a 5G digital utopia just around the corner, is anyone listening to these very real concerns? Are we on the verge of a health apocalypse? Is 5G really that bad? Can anything be done on an individual level to mitigate the damage?

Join us as we talk to Scott Ogrin of Scottie's Tech.Info, who has done a deep dive on the research and helps us answer some of these questions and more.

Sen. Rand Paul condemns mandatory vaccines: We should not give up our liberty for a 'false sense of security'

"I still do not favor giving up on liberty for a false sense of security," Sen. Rand Paul said during the Senate health committee hearing, where he was the only lawmaker to raise doubts over vaccinations.
Sen. Rand Paul on Tuesday railed against government-mandated vaccines, suggesting they infringe on personal rights, during a congressional hearing on immunizations' role in protecting the public from preventable diseases like the current measles outbreak sweeping parts of the country.

Paul (R-Ky.), a doctor, said he and his children are vaccinated and that he believes the benefits of vaccines outweigh the risks. "But I still do not favor giving up on liberty for a false sense of security," Paul said during the Senate health committee hearing, where he was the only lawmaker to raise doubts over vaccinations.

Paul, who made similar comments during his 2016 presidential bid, argued that vaccines aren't always effective - pointing to the seasonal influenza vaccines that protect only against certain strands - and said it is "wrong to say there are no risks to vaccines," drawing applause from anti-vaccination advocates attending the hearing.

Comment: Cold facts to counter the measles hysteria and demands for mandatory vaccination:

Vaccination: Do your own research, exercise due diligence and reserve judgment - Part 2

Da Twitterati

In Part 1 we looked at some of the evidence which casts doubt upon the common narratives asserted by those who unquestioningly support all vaccines. This included evidence that vaccines had minimal impact upon the eradication of Smallpox, that claims of Poliovirus being 'defeated' by vaccines are dubious and that improvements in public health practices were far more influential in the overall reduction of disease than vaccines appear to have been.

We looked at the lack of evidence to support the hypothesis of 'herd immunity.' We also considered the medical evidence which makes any notion that vaccines can ever achieve the 'herd effect' extremely unlikely.

I am not suggesting that all vaccines are useless, nor potentially dangerous. Vaccines come in a variety of forms and human susceptibility, both to contracting and spreading infection, is unique to the individual. As are our immune system's responses to inoculation. Contracting viruses naturally is a vital component for the healthy development of our individual immune systems. At a very basic level, some skepticism regarding the potential risks of interfering with this natural process is warranted.

Having received some feedback on the post from the Twitterati, the problem we face in establishing any kind of reasonable dialogue about vaccines was painfully apparent. I wrote Part 1, partly out of my own interest, but also to respond in full to those who, contrary to my understanding, insisted there was no empirical evidence questioning vaccines.

Take a deep breath... air pollution may damage 'every organ in the body'

Air pollution over London.
Air pollution may be damaging every organ and virtually every cell in the human body, according to a comprehensive new global review.

The research shows head-to-toe harm, from heart and lung disease to diabetes and dementia, and from liver problems and bladder cancer to brittle bones and damaged skin. Fertility, foetuses and children are also affected by toxic air, the review found.

The systemic damage is the result of pollutants causing inflammation that then floods through the body and ultra-fine particles being carried around the body by the bloodstream.

Air pollution is a "public health emergency", according to the World Health Organization, with more than 90% of the global population enduring toxic outdoor air. New analysis indicates 8.8m early deaths each year - double earlier estimates - making air pollution a bigger killer than tobacco smoking.

FDA recalls tattoo inks due to possible bacteria contamination

Tattoo ink
Food and Drug Administration officials recalled several types of tattoo ink this week over worries that they could be contaminated with dangerous bacteria.

The Food and Drug Administration issued the warning to tattoo artists, ink retailers and anyone "considering a new tattoo," saying the inks could cause serious infections or other injuries.

It said six inks manufactured by Scalp Aesthetics, Dynamic Color and Color Art could be contaminated with microorganisms that can be dangerous when injected into the skin.

More than 500 people in southern Pakistan test positive for HIV, local officials blame 'rogue doctor'

More than 500 people have tested positive for HIV in southern Pakistan in an outbreak that local officials have blamed on a rogue paediatrician.

Almost 14,000 individuals have now been screened in the district outside Larkana where the sudden spike in HIV incidence was first detected, said Dr Sikandar Memon, the regional coordinator of the Aids Control Programme.

Of those testing positive, 410 are children, Dr Memon told Pakistani newspaper Dawn. He said that another 29 patients tested positive in the most recent round of blood screening on Wednesday at the main hospital in Rato Dero, 25km outside Larkana, seen as the centre of the epidemic.

A doctor accused of infecting his patients through repeated use of a single, contaminated syringe remains in custody since the outbreak was first reported in late April. Dr Muzaffar Ghangharo, who officials said is himself living with HIV, has been charged but denies the allegations.

Authorities are also not ruling out the possibility that the outbreak is the result of gross, widespread negligence in a region which has a high prevalence of shady medical practices.

Coca-Cola had 'substantial say' on obesity research it sponsored at USC, report finds

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated has named David Katz president and chief operating officer of the Charlotte-based company. He replaces Henry Flint, although J. Frank Harrison will remain chairman and CEO.
The Coca-Cola Company had a "significant say" in research it sponsored at the University of South Carolina, according to a new report in the Journal of Public Health Policy.

The agreements USC signed with Coca-Cola provided $1.2 million in obesity research funding in 2013 and 2014, but allowed the company to abruptly cancel research, provide comments before publication and keep research data, according to documents released by the report's authors.

"This quote-unquote science isn't science, it's public relations," said study co-author Gary Ruskin. "That's a problem with research ethics."

Comment: Coca-Cola has a long and sordid history of influencing studies, funding research to get the 'right' results, influencing public health policy and much more. All to deceive the public into believing their toxic beverages can be part of a healthy diet. They can't.
