At the beginning of this year I wrote about how the governments of the world had created a collective state of hysteria so intense that the only way they could dig themselves out of the hole they had made was with a magic bullet. That magic bullet was, of course, the vaccines. I wrote that it didn't really matter how effective the vaccines were in the real world, or whether they prevented transmission. All that mattered was getting every single person on the planet to take the vaccine, after which the politicians would be able to declare victory.

It's now eight months later, and we can conclude that the prediction has come to pass. In many western countries, 70+ percent of the adult population is now vaccinated. In the early part of this year, hospitalizations and deaths started to drop, and they stayed low all summer. The convenient explanation at the time was that this was thanks to the vaccines, even though the drop started at a time when very few people were vaccinated - the reduction was clearly driven by something else. My guess is that it was due to the onset of herd immunity to the original covid strain. The decline was halted temporarily due to the arrival of the more infectious alpha strain (which raised the herd immunity threshold due to its higher infectiousness), but was quickly followed by a continued trend downwards as the population reached herd immunity even to that more infectious strain. This was helped in part, perhaps, by the vaccines, and then helped even more by the arrival of summer and the effect of seasonality.

As autumn has come along, cases and deaths have started to rise again in many places, in part due to the seasonal effect, and in part, likely, due to the arrival of the even more infectious delta variant (which raises the herd immunity threshold even further). In the official narrative, the increase in cases and deaths is blamed on the unvaccinated, who are supposedly driving the development of vaccine resistant variants. It's true that the unvaccinated are more likely to end up in hospital with covid than the vaccinated - the vaccine does offer protection against covid, after all. But it isn't true that the unvaccinated are driving vaccine resistance.

It seems that the doctors and "experts" who appear on tv and who drive public policy have completely forgotten how evolution works. Let's take bacteria as an analogy. Bacteria develop resistance to antibiotics when we use antibiotics too generously. Indiscriminate use of antibiotics puts evolutionary pressure on bacteria to develop resistance, since that's the only way they can survive in the antibiotic saturated environment. Yet, now, we are supposed to believe that the opposite is true for viruses - they apparently develop resistance when we underuse vaccines! We're suddenly supposed to believe that up is down and down is up.

I wrote First, Do No Harm: If Primary Healthcare Remains Shut Down, Toll on Elderly Will be Worse Than COVID-19 back in March 2020. My prediction turned out to be correct. During this time, the COVID-19 pseudo-reality has made Primary Health Care almost unrecognizable.

I became determined over the last year of my practice to prioritize anything life-threatening or related to Primary Health Care, leaving bureaucracy or follow-ups related to the 'pandemic' (which is really one of people with NO symptoms, at all) as my last priority (and got a hard time from administration for doing that). It made me realize not only the damage done to our society, but also the absurdity of everything today.

Now the vaccination campaign has begun in earnest, and so has the winter flu season. After a summer and autumn of no typical COVID-19 cases, doctors are starting to see some action again. Some are coming to me with symptoms of the COVID-19 pneumonia we saw back in springtime (and earlier). I suspect that the thousands of people who have already received the experimental vaccines - approved against common sense and precautions - have something to do with this uptick. Thus, I feel compelled to write again, out of concern for the millions who are considering getting vaccinated - either because they believe the COVID-19 vaccines will protect them, or because they feel they have no choice other than to take them.

A tenth of prescription medicines doled out by GPs are unnecessary, pushing the NHS drugs bill to more than £9 billion, a landmark review has found.

Patients are routinely being harmed by a "culture" of overprescribing, the investigation found, with a fifth of hospital admissions among pensioners caused by adverse effects of medication.

The Government-ordered review identifies "very significant" waste across the system, saying that too often patients felt unable to question medics who did not look up from their keyboards.

It found that an average of 20 prescriptions are now issued per head of population annually, a doubling in two decades. And 15 per cent of patients were found to be taking five or more medicines every day.

The review, led by Dr Keith Ridge, NHS chief pharmacist, said patients should be offered alternatives to drugs, including exercise, talking therapies and social activities.

Anyone watching any kind of alternative media for the last month and a half knows that Australia has lost it's freakin' mind. The country has gone into full fascist mode, 'because Coronavirus'. The military on the streets, sirens are blaring, the police are getting violent with protesters, strict stay-at-home orders are in full effect with restrictions getting tighter by the day.

Thank God it's only over there... for now. All the signs point to this brand of fascism getting exported to other Western nations in the near future. Keep your eyes on what's going on down under, your country might be next!

Pfizer admits Israel is the great COVID-19 vaccine experiment

According to a recent Israeli news report, which I posted on Twitter¹ September 13, 2021, Pfizer admits it's treating Israel as a unique "laboratory" to assess COVID jab effects. Whatever happens in Israel can reliably be expected to happen everywhere else as well, some months later.

In other words, the Israeli population is one giant test group — without a control group, unfortunately — and as noted by the news anchors, the people really should have been informed that they were part of one of the biggest medical experiments in human history.

Pfizer entered into an exclusivity agreement with the Israeli Ministry of Health at the outset, so the only COVID shot available is Pfizer's. As noted by the news anchor, we now realize that the Pfizer shot has a higher risk for heart inflammation among young men than some of the other COVID shots, but Israeli youth have no option but to get the most dangerous one.

The US Food and Drug Administration will vote on whether to approve booster doses of Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine. The vote comes after the drug firm published data showing major decline of potency of its two-shot regimen over time.

The FDA's vaccines committee met on Friday to discuss the approval of booster shots of Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine for individuals 16 years and older. After a series of presentations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), academics, and Pfizer representatives, the FDA's 15-member panel will cast their votes on Friday afternoon.

In August, FDA gave Pfizer's existing two-shot regimen its approval, paving the way for the Biden administration to unveil a program of tough new mandates.

New research by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) suggests that more than half of those who are suffering 'from' long Covid might not actually have it and could simply be suffering from normal bouts of ill health. The Telegraph has the story.

Changes to periods and unexpected vaginal bleeding after having a Covid vaccine should be investigated to reassure women, says a leading immunologist specialising in fertility.

Writing in the BMJ, Dr Victoria Male, from Imperial College London, said the body's immune response was the likely cause, not something in the vaccines.

There is no evidence they have any impact on pregnancy or fertility.

The UN health agency said every region in the world had seen a fall in Covid-19 cases compared to the previous week.

Some four million coronavirus cases were reported globally last week, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO), marking the first major drop in new infections in more than two months. Over recent weeks, there have been about 4.4 million new Covid-19 cases reported.

Although the worldwide number of deaths decreased to about 62,000, with the sharpest decline in Southeast Asia, there was a 7% increase in deaths in Africa.

The highest numbers of cases were seen in the US, Britain, India, Iran and Turkey and the highly contagious Delta variant had now been reported in 180 countries.

WHO also said children and teenagers continued to be less affected by Covid-19 compared to adults, adding that deaths of people aged under 24 due to the disease accounted for less than 0.5% of global deaths. The agency has previously said that children should not be prioritised for Covid-19 vaccinations given the extreme vaccine shortages globally.

A third dose of Pfizer's Covid vaccine six months after a second shot restores protection from infection to 95% in a real-world setting in Israel, according to data submitted by the company to the Food and Drug Administration.

While the effectiveness of the mRNA vaccine wanes over time, a booster shot was shown to elicit an immune response similar to the protection generated after a second dose, Pfizer said in a 52-page presentation released by the agency Wednesday.

Pfizer said data from Israel's Covid vaccination program administering boosters to the entire population show that a third shot "has a reactogenicity profile similar to that seen after receipt of the second primary series dose and restores high levels of protection against Covid-19 outcomes (back to approximately 95% protection)." The data was collected from July 1 through Aug. 30 when the delta variant was surging throughout the country.
