Seven people lost their lives in Thar's Chhachhro area, another four people were killed and two children sustained critical burns in Sanghar, a city in Sanghar district, and a youth in Kandhkot was also pronounced dead.
Authorities have urged motorists, commuters and citizens to take caution when driving or travelling during rainy weather.

As many as 26 people, including women and children, were killed in Pakistan's Sindh province due to lightning following heavy rains.
The lightning incidents took place in the areas of Mithi, Chhachhi and Ram Singh Sodho village in Tharparkar district after widespread rains began battering the desert region late Wednesday night and continued into Thursday, reports Dawn news.
Moreover, dozens of animals have been killed in the region during the last 24 hours.
The incidents of thunder strike took place at Islamkot, Nagarparkar, Mithi, Chhachhro and other areas of Tharparkar.
An incident of a thunderbolt in Kotdiji in Khairpur district set a tree on fire.
According to rescue officials, several injured have been shifted to different hospitals, including the district Civil Hospital Mithi.
Adding that over 16 injured were shifted to health facilities since Wednesday late evening, officials confirmed that at least ten bodies were brought to different hospitals in the region.
On Thursday, the district administration issued a notification of emergency across the district, cancelling leaves of employees of all departments.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave is affecting lower parts of the country.

Storm Report SA received several pictures and video from residents in Bergville in the KZN Midlands of another tornado that formed in the area on Thursday. It was unclear if anyone was injured.
The tornado formed two days after another one ripped through a farming community of in New Hanover in the KZN Midlands on Tuesday, killing two people and leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
The SA Weather service said that tornadoes are not uncommon in South Africa, and normally occur in the spring and summer period, an SA Weather Service forecaster said.
Tokelo Chiloane said tornadoes occurred during severe thunderstorms which included strong winds.
The lifespan of a tornado was between three to five minutes, said Chiloane, adding that South African tornadoes differed from tornadoes that occurred in countries like the US, where they could last for hours.

Canola futures are down three per cent year over year in the world's biggest canola-growing country despite severe harvest problems that normally would lift prices, adding further pressure to declining farm incomes.
This year will be remembered as the "harvest from hell," said farmer John Guelly, chairman of the Alberta Canola industry group.
Canola's problems may even frustrate some from sowing it next year, he said.
"I think there will be a pullback in acres for sure."

The power cuts were registered in the departments of Drome, Ardeche, Isere and Rhone, the BFMTV broadcaster reported, citing electricity supplier Enedis.
Enedis said that the power cuts had been caused by ruptured transmission lines due to trees falling on them.

An officer spotted the two Belgian Shepherd dogs running loose at the barracks south of Vienna early Thursday. The fatally injured staff sergeant was then found inside the dogs' kennel.
