As per the official data, Parbhani district reported three such deaths, followed by two deaths each in Aurangabad and Osmanabad districts, and one each in Hingoli, Jalna and Beed districts.

Sunil Shinde (39) and his nephew Sunil Trigote (38), both residents of Chikalthana, were struck by lightning while they were travelling on a two-wheeler in the Jaipur-Shivar area of Aurangabad district.

Locals take a look at goats which were killed by thunderbolt at Suryanagar in Boath mandal centre on Sunday.
Locals said that the goats belonging to eight persons died after being struck by lightning when they were taking rest under a tamarind tree on the outskirts of Boath mandal headquarters, which registered a hailstorm and unseasonal rains for an hour.
The owners requested the authorities concerned to sanction compensation.
Out for an early morning walk, Maryam Khalfan was in for a shock as she and her family kept coming across stingrays and another fish one after the other.
"Interesting was the fact that they were far away from the water, so maybe it happened during the high tide," said Maryam and added, "The more I walked, the more fish I saw."
The majority of the fish were spotted opposite Masjid Fatma on Al Hail beach.

Search and rescue operations after a landslide in South Tapanuli Regency.
Indonesia's disaster agency BNPB said the landslides were caused by heavy rainfall in the area. Two buildings and a vehicle were buried in the slide, with 12 people feared missing.
Since then search and rescue operations have found the bodies of 5 victims, with 8 people thought to be still missing. The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of South Tapanuli Regency said search operations are ongoing but the remote location on steep slopes has made it difficult to use heavy digging equipment.
The woman's body was found off U.S. Highway 550 near Trimble, north of Durango.
According to the La Plata County Sheriff's office, the woman's boyfriend said the victim went walking with her two dogs earlier Friday.
When the boyfriend returned home later in the evening, he found the two dogs but the woman was missing.
The boyfriend found the woman's body around 9:30 p.m. and called 911 to report the incident.
Wildlife officers responded and observed signs of consumption on the body and an abundance of bear scat and hair at the scene.
The deceased Leborius Nongsiang (17) and Leding Rongrin (37) were among the 15 people who were constructing the cattle shed at the time of the incident.
Mawjaw Langrin, Sordar of Mawngap village, said, "The incident occurred at around 12 pm when they were taking shelter from downpour in the cattle shed. However, a thunder struck the cattle shed out of the blue and the two died on the spot."
The village dorbar informed the Riangdo PS about the incident and the bodies were handed over to the families while the others, who sustained injuries, were shifted to Riangdo CHC.
